“Kim has taken such excellent care of our wild maniac of a puppy! She makes sure he gets tons of love and snuggles whether we are away for the day at work or for a few days on a trip. She has also taken great care of our two cats and our house while we were away. Kim goes out of her way to do the little things like bringing in the mail daily. She is wonderful!”

“Grace is a wonderful sitter. I never have to worry while I’m away at work! She’s reliable, asks questions when needed, and always ensures both of my pups are properly taken care of.”

“Krista and her daughter took wonderful care of our cats. Krista was patient with all three of our cats who have very different personalities. She was great at communicating any concerns and she took the most amazing pictures of our cats. We so appreciate the time and attention she provided our fur babies while we were away! I highly recommend Krista! She is amazing!”

“This was the first time leaving my pets with non-family and I was nervous to say the least (my boys are mama boys). Alicia was wonderful with keeping me up to date and asking questions to make sure the boys were taken care of correctly. Thanks Alicia!”

“Heather has watched our cat many times, and she has done an outstanding job each time! Superb communication, and we‘re grateful that we don’t have to worry about a thing when we’re away. We’re going to greatly miss having her take care of our cat as we’re moving away and can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Davene has been a fantastic sitter for my puppy. While he is still a little timid and learning to be around other people who aren’t me, her updates to me show that he has warmed up to her, which shows that she truly cares for the pets she looks after.”

“David did a phenomenal job in taking great care of our cats while we our away. He ensured that he got all the details needed to take care of our cats and provided us with all the latest photos and updates. This gave us so much peace of mind. Our cats felt so happy and comfortable with him.”

“This was my 1st time using Rover and I’m really glad I chose Kayleigh. It was very stressful having to leave my cats for the day but Kayleigh put my mind completely at ease after she came for a meet and greet in my home. She followed all feeding and litter box instructions perfectly, and sent photo and detail updates which was a wonderful touch. My Princess has CKD and needs some extra TLC which Kayleigh was able to provide. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

“Sharon helped us with our kitty during a week vacation, She was great and right on time every day. It is a great relief to be away knowing that my lil furry baby is being taken care of. Thank you Sharon for caring about our kitty!”

“Cleo did an awesome job of taking care of our dog while we were away. She was very professional and we are excited to work with her again next time we schedule a trip!”

“Leah has been taking care of our dogs for years. Recently, we were worried about leaving our 17 year old beagle and we knew she would be well taken care of. Leah is caring, attentive, and communicates often.”

“Jessica is so great and patient with our cat who is anxious around strangers! We will definitely use her pet sitting services again next time we are going out of town!”

“Marissa is great every time she spends time with my dogs. She always goes above and beyond! My female dog is always more hesitant with people who aren’t me, and she’s had no trouble accepting Marissa. My aunt always requests her specifically when she knows I have to get a sitter.”

I have trained in cat and dog CPR and am well equipped to handle any sort of situation pet related. I grew up in a family with many pets, and from a young age I knew always wanted to have animals in my life. My dream was to be a veterinarian and I even attended veterinary training summer camps during my summers in High School. Although I decided against that career path, I have continued to keep animal care as a big part of my life and I look forward to caring for your pets! I currently work part time so I have plenty of free time on the days and weekends to pay lots of attention to your pets! I have a fenced yard and a lovely goofball lab mix to keep your pets company. I will be very attentive with your pets and make sure they are comfortable and getting enough of whatever they enjoy most, whether that’s exercise or chill time.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Laurel
This was my first time leaving my fur babies, and my anxiety was extremely high since they are still very young kittens. From the moment I met Kaileigh at our meet and greet, she immediately put me at ease. Her warm personality really shines—she was patient, knowledgeable, and had great techniques to help my cats feel comfortable with her. She followed all of our household instructions carefully, including removing her shoes at the door and washing her hands right away. She also gave my cats time to approach her on their own terms, which made a huge difference—especially for my more anxious kitten who typically avoids new people but surprisingly warmed up to her. During my eight-day trip, I had unreliable internet access and was unable to consistently view her updates. Despite this, Kaileigh went above and beyond to stay in communication and ensure I felt reassured. When I finally had service, I was able to see photos and videos of my cats looking happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. She even answered my call promptly, knowing I might not get another chance to reach her. When I returned home, everything was exactly as I had left it, and she thoughtfully informed me about a potential issue with my lockbox so I could address it. Most importantly, my cats were calm, healthy, and my little guy looked like he gained much-needed weight. I would highly recommend Kaileigh to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring pet sitter. Her professionalism, communication, and love for animals truly set her apart. I would absolutely book her again without hesitation.

Davene did an excellent job looking after our two cats. She communicated well before, during, and after each visit. She made sure they finished their food and medicine and even stayed a little extra to keep them company which was a lovely touch. We'll look to Davene again to watch over them during our future travels!

Our normal pet sitter wasn’t available for a last minute trip and I’m so glad we found Bri! She was so sweet and attentive to our two fur babies while we were gone. She was also super flexible when we needed to make a schedule change for one of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!

Colin was just great with my 3 y.o. cat, Georgia who I adopted from the shelter. She is skittish with strangers because of her history. She tends to hide from them. She never hid from Colin. He was caring and thoughtful. Knowing that Georgia was well cared for allowed me to enjoy my vacation peacefully. I highly recommend him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mount Laurel. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
