“Alicia was amazing. She did three drop ins per day for the long Memorial Day weekend. She is friendly, responsible, and dependable. We will definitely welcome Alicia to take care of our baby dog again.”

“Kim has taken such excellent care of our wild maniac of a puppy! She makes sure he gets tons of love and snuggles whether we are away for the day at work or for a few days on a trip. She has also taken great care of our two cats and our house while we were away. Kim goes out of her way to do the little things like bringing in the mail daily. She is wonderful!”

“Grace is a wonderful sitter. I never have to worry while I’m away at work! She’s reliable, asks questions when needed, and always ensures both of my pups are properly taken care of.”

“Davene is a wonderful cat sitter! She just took care of my three kitties over Thanksgiving. I appreciated how quick she was to respond to my request and her offer of an initial visit to meet the cats and get our instructions in person. She was very gentle and sweet with the kitties, and I could tell that they really liked her. Davene followed all instructions and left the place neat and clean. I highly recommend her and look forward to booking with her again.”

“Leah has been taking care of our dogs for years. Recently, we were worried about leaving our 17 year old beagle and we knew she would be well taken care of. Leah is caring, attentive, and communicates often.”
“Heather did a great job taking care of our cats. She also took good care of us, by keeping us informed and posting pictures every day 🙂. She didn't just feed them and clean up after them, she also tried to bond with them. We highly recommend Heather if you need someone to take care of your cats!”

“Our regular pet sitter was unavailable and I reached out to Alexandra. She was very responsive and easy to work with. I would gladly book with her again to watch my fur babies.”

“Kayleigh did an excellent job with my Sophia. She met her in advance so she would feel comfortable with her. My cat seems happy and content upon my arrival back from vacation. Highly recommend!!!”

“Jessica is PHENOMENAL. This was my first time ever time getting a dogsitter so I was a bit nervous at the beginning but Jessica made this entire process so great for myself but more importantly my dog:) My poor old man 🐶 has turned into a grumpy apprehensive dog but Jess made sure to keep him as happy and as comfortable as possible. She was even so sweet with my two cats as well. I will most definitely be asking her again to take care of my babies. 10/10 stars.”

About: I adopted two cats of my own in 2019 and have also been cat sitting for over two years. It’s hard to put into words how much I love animals, but caring for them has always been a big part of my life. 🤍 I regularly feed and care for stray cats in my community, and I’ve helped three adult strays find loving forever homes. Whenever I come across a cat or dog in need, I always try to help however I can. 🐾While I'm a cat person at heart, I'm equally passionate about dogs. I gained experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments through dog sitting and volunteer. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, handle various behavioral needs, and provide affectionate care. I enjoy walking, cuddling, and spending quality time with dogs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved! 🤍I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’ll treat your fur babies just like my own and make sure they are well-fed, cared for, and given plenty of love and attention while they’re with me! :) I’m currently a student and work part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules and your pet’s specific routine whenever possible. I understand that every pet has their own needs, so I’ll always do my best to work with you and your fur baby! :) I always make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow their usual feeding, walking, litter, play, and potty routines as closely as possible, and I pay close attention to their behavior and body language. I understand that every cat and dog has a different personality, so I respect their boundaries and never force interaction, especially with shy or anxious pets. I’m also careful about keeping doors, windows, leashes, and their surroundings secure. Most importantly, I’ll give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing❤️

“David took great care of my two cats with his drop-in visits. He even brought our trash cans in for us! David communicated with me about my pets and when he was going to be late. I would definitely book him again!”

About: I grew up with both dogs🐶 and cat🐱 so I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I have a ShihTzu named Chloe - she is 5 years old and is so sweet. She loves socializing with other dogs - she is calm yet has her playful moments as well. My close friends, family members and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their fur babies throughout the years. I recently decided to make a Rover account to help others who need a trusted individual take care of their fur baby(s). Please message me if you have any questions! 🐾 • I currently work remote from 9am-5pm. I am fully available nights and weekends. • I take Chloe out between 7:30-8:00am to use the potty/10 minute walk. Then I give her a Greenie and her breakfast. • I take Chloe out around 12/12:30 for a potty break followed by a treat and some playtime. • Around 5pm I take Chloe out for a potty break and a 15 minute walk. Sometimes I will take her to the dog park or she will socialize with other dogs on our walk around the community. Afterwards, I feed her dinner. • I take Chloe out around 9pm for another short walk/potty break. I then sometimes take her out again around 10-10:30 before we go to bed. • I have the flexibility to take care of your fur baby(s) during the day, evenings & weekends.🐾 • I live on the first floor of an apartment complex that is extremely dog friendly. They have two dog parks - (one for big and one for small dogs) which are both conveniently located across from my building! A good number of residents in my community have a dog so there is plenty of socializing. • I do not crate Chloe however, if you prefer to have your fur baby crated, please let me know and that can be arranged.

“We met Andria for the meet and greet with our dog (Zoey) and Owen (her boxer). The meet and greet went very well. Andria is very calm and patirent, and she had a very nice connection with Zoey. I could see that Zoey really liked Andria and was happy. They have a big backyard too, which will be great for Zoey too.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Laurel
As always, Sarah was awesome! We had just moved to a new house less than 2 weeks before our most recent booking, and we couldn't coordinate a time for me to give her a tour of our new place. Sarah came in, sight unseen, and took up our cats' routines as if nothing had changed. She even stayed longer than her allotted time because our Louie demanded more pets. I can't think of a better endorsement!

This was my first time leaving my fur babies, and my anxiety was extremely high since they are still very young kittens. From the moment I met Kaileigh at our meet and greet, she immediately put me at ease. Her warm personality really shines—she was patient, knowledgeable, and had great techniques to help my cats feel comfortable with her. She followed all of our household instructions carefully, including removing her shoes at the door and washing her hands right away. She also gave my cats time to approach her on their own terms, which made a huge difference—especially for my more anxious kitten who typically avoids new people but surprisingly warmed up to her. During my eight-day trip, I had unreliable internet access and was unable to consistently view her updates. Despite this, Kaileigh went above and beyond to stay in communication and ensure I felt reassured. When I finally had service, I was able to see photos and videos of my cats looking happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. She even answered my call promptly, knowing I might not get another chance to reach her. When I returned home, everything was exactly as I had left it, and she thoughtfully informed me about a potential issue with my lockbox so I could address it. Most importantly, my cats were calm, healthy, and my little guy looked like he gained much-needed weight. I would highly recommend Kaileigh to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring pet sitter. Her professionalism, communication, and love for animals truly set her apart. I would absolutely book her again without hesitation.

Davene did an excellent job looking after our two cats. She communicated well before, during, and after each visit. She made sure they finished their food and medicine and even stayed a little extra to keep them company which was a lovely touch. We'll look to Davene again to watch over them during our future travels!

Our normal pet sitter wasn’t available for a last minute trip and I’m so glad we found Bri! She was so sweet and attentive to our two fur babies while we were gone. She was also super flexible when we needed to make a schedule change for one of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!

Colin was just great with my 3 y.o. cat, Georgia who I adopted from the shelter. She is skittish with strangers because of her history. She tends to hide from them. She never hid from Colin. He was caring and thoughtful. Knowing that Georgia was well cared for allowed me to enjoy my vacation peacefully. I highly recommend him.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
