My background as a Licensed Registered Behavioral Technician and Mental Health Technician has shaped the way I work with animals. These roles taught me how to read behavior, respect boundaries, and communicate with patience and empathy, skills that translate incredibly well when caring for pets, especially those who are shy or anxious. I believe relationships with animals should never be forced. Some pets want immediate attention, while others need time and space. I’m always happy to meet them exactly where they are and allow trust to build naturally.

Safety, trust & environment
I also take continuing education seriously and regularly look for opportunities to expand my knowledge through workshops, training, and conferences in the pet care field. The more I learn, the better care I can provide. Because of this commitment, and because I value mental health for both pets and people, I intentionally keep my schedule balanced. Your pet receives my full attention during every visit, never rushed or squeezed between appointments.
Information Briana J. would like to know about your pet
- Aggression of ANY type (food, human, pet, toy..) - Biting History - Health issues and/or concerns: is it being treated effectively? What signs of a crisis do I need to look for? (Please call your local and/or emergency vet to give me permission to take your pet in if signs of a crisis occur – I will ALWAYS call before I take a pet UNLESS it is an IMMEDIATE emergency) - Is end-of-life while they are in my care possible? Is there a plan in place if this happens while in my care? - How medication is taken: I DO NOT force pills down mouths, I DO NOT do injections. I am not qualified to do so! - Triggers: ALL and ANY - Allergies - Anxiety, Depression, quirks and/or separation anxiety – or anything of the liking
A typical day
Every pet’s day should look a little different, because every pet is different. Some want long walks and playtime; others prefer quiet companionship. I tailor each visit around what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable. If you’re looking for a sitter who is patient, respectful, and deeply committed to building trust with your pet, I would love to welcome you into my pack.

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Bri, and caring for animals is more than just something I do, it’s the career I’ve chosen because it is my life’s purpose. I began providing professional pet care through Rover in 2021, and what started as a passion quickly grew into a thriving, full-time business built on trust, respect, and strong ethics. I approach every pet as an individual with their own personality, comfort level, and boundaries. My goal is always the same: to create a calm, safe environment where your pet feels secure, understood, and cared for.
