“Davene has been a fantastic sitter for my puppy. While he is still a little timid and learning to be around other people who aren’t me, her updates to me show that he has warmed up to her, which shows that she truly cares for the pets she looks after.”

“David was very caring & open when doing his drop in visits. He took care of my dogs & walked them when it was in the negatives & had no complaints. I appreciated his thorough communication & attention to detail. If we weren’t moving we would book David every time!”
“I am so glad we found Nicole! She is so comfortable and nurturing with my two dogs. Treats them like her own babies. I have no worries while I’m away and she is taken care of our boys. I would highly recommend Nicole.”

“We've booked with Natalie several times before and she has been consistently great in taking care of our two cats. She did everything we asked, navigated our security system with no problem, took thoughtful care of our cats and kept us informed how they were doing. We will be booking with her again.”

“Time and time again Jessica surprises me. She is absolutely wonderful with my dogs, even my 80 lb german shepherd that seems to like no one. And the pictures and summaries she sends makes me wish I was there too.”

“Sarah was wonderful! She was on time and made my two dogs feel happy and loved while I was at a wedding. She gave me peace of mind knowing I didn't have to rush home from the party.”

About: I grew up with both dogs🐶 and cat🐱 so I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I have a ShihTzu named Chloe - she is 5 years old and is so sweet. She loves socializing with other dogs - she is calm yet has her playful moments as well. My close friends, family members and neighbors have trusted me to take care of their fur babies throughout the years. I recently decided to make a Rover account to help others who need a trusted individual take care of their fur baby(s). Please message me if you have any questions! 🐾 • I currently work remote from 9am-5pm. I am fully available nights and weekends. • I take Chloe out between 7:30-8:00am to use the potty/10 minute walk. Then I give her a Greenie and her breakfast. • I take Chloe out around 12/12:30 for a potty break followed by a treat and some playtime. • Around 5pm I take Chloe out for a potty break and a 15 minute walk. Sometimes I will take her to the dog park or she will socialize with other dogs on our walk around the community. Afterwards, I feed her dinner. • I take Chloe out around 9pm for another short walk/potty break. I then sometimes take her out again around 10-10:30 before we go to bed. • I have the flexibility to take care of your fur baby(s) during the day, evenings & weekends.🐾 • I live on the first floor of an apartment complex that is extremely dog friendly. They have two dog parks - (one for big and one for small dogs) which are both conveniently located across from my building! A good number of residents in my community have a dog so there is plenty of socializing. • I do not crate Chloe however, if you prefer to have your fur baby crated, please let me know and that can be arranged.

“Marissa was great with my dogs, and they seemed happy and relaxed when I arrived home. I have one very ill elderly dog, and she clearly cared about him, taking extra steps to help him be as comfortable as possible on each visit. I’ve already asked her to drop in on them again!”
“What an absolute rock star!!!! Gabrielle has been in constant communication!! Everything from, cats are playing hide and seek to how much they’ve eaten! To a Halloween blow up deflated but i fixed it ! I can not recommend her more! I will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Marissa was so great with our brand new puppy, Lola! She was so caring and thoughtful and had the BEST updates. We were so nervous leaving our baby alone but we felt so good with her in the care of Marissa.”

About: Hi! I’m Layla, and I’ve always had a huge love for dogs. I’ve grown up around them and currently have a Cane Corso, so I’m very familiar with caring for big, strong breeds. I regularly walk and watch dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, and I take pride in being someone people trust with their pets. I’m super patient, responsible, and love getting to know each dog’s personality whether they’re playful and energetic or more laid back and cuddly. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own, and I always make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and having a good time. Whether you need someone for walks, check ins, or overnight care, I’d love to help out! As a college student with a flexible class schedule, I’m able to dedicate time during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends to care for pets. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I make sure to plan around my responsibilities so I can give your dog the attention and care they deserve. Rover fits perfectly into my weekly routine, and I love being able to spend time with dogs while balancing school and life. It’s something I genuinely enjoy not just a side job. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, my focus is always on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy. I follow any specific routines or instructions you providewhether it’s feeding times, favorite toys, or medication. I make sure they get plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and attention so they feel at ease while you’re away. In your home, I respect your space and try to keep everything clean and stress-free. At my place, I make sure the environment is safe and pet-friendly, especially since I have a Cane Corso and know how important structure and comfort are for dogs of all sizes.

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was 12 years old and I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs; small, big, aggressive, young, old and sick. I’m very patient and trained to administer medications. Animals (especially dogs) are my passion. I will keep your dog(s) happy and safe, even if that means late nights, early mornings, running or getting a little dirty. I’m very quick to pick up dogs emotions and personalities and do my best to cater to their individual needs. Overall, I always try to go above and beyond when it comes to all animals!
Hartford cat parents share their Rover experiences
Davene did an excellent job looking after our two cats. She communicated well before, during, and after each visit. She made sure they finished their food and medicine and even stayed a little extra to keep them company which was a lovely touch. We'll look to Davene again to watch over them during our future travels!

Colin was just great with my 3 y.o. cat, Georgia who I adopted from the shelter. She is skittish with strangers because of her history. She tends to hide from them. She never hid from Colin. He was caring and thoughtful. Knowing that Georgia was well cared for allowed me to enjoy my vacation peacefully. I highly recommend him.
From our first meeting I knew Jordan would be the right fit for my fur babies care!! She was hired to drop in and feed them. Jordan kept to schedule and her messages to me about her visits w my two cats were so sweet, it made me feel comfortable so that I could enjoy my time away! Thank you Jordan !! Highly recommend!! And will use again!!
