About: I have taken care of pets my whole life so I can take care of puppies to elderly dogs. Most dogs love me and want to come play and pet. I also have a 2.5yr old son who absolutely LOVES dogs. We are happy to take care of dogs with special needs or is on mediations. We had a cat that just recently passed away and she would have been 19yrs old this year. She had asthma and we had to give her an inhaler 2x a day for 10 years. Happy to help your family with any special needs. We will love them like our own while you are away. I have also had the pleasure of caring for our neighbors' pets, and we currently share our home with two friendly, well-loved cats. While having my own dog for 10+ years, I’ve spent plenty of time taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets when they were away from home. I’ve helped with walks, feeding, potty and playtime, being someone that could let their pets have someone while they’re away. Weekends are generally open and flexible, and I'm happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet's routine and your travel plans. My flexible schedule allows me to provide more than just a quick check-in—I can give your pets plenty of companionship, attention, and care throughout the day. I’m playful and attentive, but I’m also responsible and observant—I pay attention to your pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. About: I grew up caring for 2 dogs and 2 cats, as well as pet sitting for friends and family! Even though some have passed away now, the fur babies always leave a print on my heart. While I am unable to house pets where I reside, my heart is ready to meet new friends on my traveling journeys! This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. If they are up for it, I will take them on a short jog every day too.

The children are always supervised around visiting pets, and I remain the only person responsible for your dog's care. I work from home two days each week and structure my schedule to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. On the other three days, your dog will be let out in the morning and walked if time allows. I get back to the house around 5pm and will resume caring for your dog like they are my own. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time to provide a low-stress environment. Dogs are welcome on the furniture if that's what they're used to at home, and I'll do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. A Great Dane puppy, a boxer and a deaf boxer mix and I have to tell you, we have never felt more comfortable leaving our fur babies with someone. The updates she sent us reassured us they were having a great time. We especially loved that it is a smaller facility and our dogs who are used to staying home when we travel were not overwhelmed at all large boarding facility. We will 100% be using Jaclyn again.
