“This was our first time using Kayleigh and we were thrilled! She is kind, compassionate, caring and responsible. She is well spoken, timely and professional. We will be sure to call her again. We are very particular as to who we trust our pups with and we highly recommend Kayleigh.”

“Catherine is just a gem! Very organized, responsible, and knowledgeable. She was watching our dogs and a house, showing real care. I felt at peace leaving everything in her hands.”

“Kimberly was wonderful with my elderly standard poodle, who requires special diet and meds multiple times a day. Then my cat got sick and she took him the the emergency vet, then had meds for him also! She was kind and loving to my fur boys. I recommend her highly!”

“Whitney stayed overnight with Bolt. Bolt immediately seemed at ease with her. She took him for his walks and fed him. We were delayed returning and she was gracious enough to stay until we returned. Will definitely book her services again. Thanks Whitney!”

“Nicole took great care of our 10 year old cocker spaniel. She did everything asked of her, and asked to make sure we didn’t need anything else. She took pictures of our dog and reported to us what they did and how he was.”

“Gabrielle has watched our big pitbull three or four times now and we feel like she’s part of the family! She’s very attentive to our big dog and sends us lots of pics when she’s with her! We are so happy we finally found someone we can trust.”

“Jaclyn was amazing and just what we were looking for in someone to watch our pups! We are new to the area and looking for a dog sitter has been tough, but Jaclyn was quick to respond, very experienced and super responsible with our dogs and house. We will definitely book again!”

About: I have had a dog of my own for 7 years and have dog sat for neighbors and friends during times of need because sitters were hard to come by or just didn’t give the adequate time or attention needed to care for the fur babies. I have good attention to detail so I will follow any instructions given as you wish. I work full-time, but am free from 6pm-9pm and on weekends open availability from 10am-10pm. If I am dog sitting I will ensure to make your pet feel safe and secure. With your instructions I will know everything I need to do to make your pet feel safe and comfortable. I am more than happy to give all the attention needed.
“Kat was great with our two cats and two dogs! She was patient with our whole weird crew, and everything went perfectly. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Highly recommend!”

“One of the most important things when our family goes away is making sure we have a caring, responsible sitter for our dog, Bucky. Alyssa is amazing! We can go away and be certain that Bucky will be loved and cared for! We highly recommend her!❤️”

“Jen is amazing. She came in super early in the morning for 3 consecutive days and took great care of our dog, making sure he gets constant attention. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their fur babies to be cared for by someone so reliable and lively!”

“Valerie was such a wonderful long term house sitter for our pups! I can tell they absolutely loved their time with her from all the videos and photo updates she provided. She went above and beyond celebrating one of our pups gotcha days while we were gone and was great at communicating. I just love knowing they were well cared for while we were away!”

“Ashiera was amazing! She sent pictures and updates everyday. Honey Mochi is very shy but Ashiera was patient with her and got her to warm up eventually. I will definitely be working with Ashiera again!”

“My husband and I would 100% trust our dog with David. We have an anxious pup and was worried about strangers meeting him but from the first meet, our dog was very comfortable with David. He gave punctual updates while we were gone and the visit went smoothly. When my husband and I came back home, we found a very nice handwritten card, chocolates, and even a dog toy from David! A very nice gesture and the kind of generous person we would invite back to our home to care for our pup. Thanks for your help David!!”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing as a house sitter. She was great with our two dogs and they are not the easiest to handle. One is a blind German Shepherd and the other is a skiddish Bernese Mountain Dog. But right away she had them both cuddling up to her. She's a natural. She also took excellent care of the house, was super informative and responsive, and made us feel very confident leaving our dogs and house with her while on vacation. I'd give 6 stars if I could.”

“Emily is such an amazing sitter! She was flexible and understanding (especially with me being on the other coast of the country when I booked her)! She sent many pictures and videos of my baby that was loved and cared for while I was gone. I already have her booked for another weekend”
“Allie is the best! We are so lucky to have her take such good, loving care of our little Minnie! It gives us peace of mind knowing that she is with our girl when we are away. We look forward to the pictures and videos that she sends us several times a day!.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Laurel
Catherine took such great care of our little princess. She was extremely professional and kept us informed the whole time we were away. Our dog loved her calm demeanor. Our dog is a blind, diabetic little softie who requires help to get up and down stairs but again Catherine was up for the task. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to look after your dog.

Highly recommend Gwen! She took amazing care of my 9-week old puppy, Summer, while I was at work. She was so patient and attentive, making sure to play with her during her awake times, and sent great photo updates that kept me totally at ease. She’s responsible, respectful, and treated my home and puppy with the best care!

What a gem Kim is!! I have a 7 month old HIGH energy GSP mix and when I tell you guys this puppy mom was stressin about going away this weekend for my husbands birdhday/father's day weekend..I was stressin'! Should I stay home? Who can handle this puppy? Will he be okay with a sitter? Will THEY be okay with my Max? But Kim eased all those worries for me. We did a meet and greet with Max first. (which put me at ease that he would be just fine with her) While we were away, Kim sent frequent updates and kept reassuring me that he was a sweetheart and that he's just simply a puppy! She even brought in the mail for us. What a relief it is to know that my fur baby was well taken care of and that he didn't drive Kim away 😆😆. We will most definitely be using Kim again in the future! Thank you Kim!

If you need a dog sitter, Bri is your girl! I cannot rave enough about the care and attention that my pups received while I was on vacation. I was able to actually kick back and enjoy myself because of how well Bri communicated and made my dogs feel at home. 5 stars doesn’t do justice and I cannot express my gratitude for Bri and how well cared for my dogs were!

We had a great experience with Casey. We asked her last minute if she could come a day early and she was more than happy to accommodate, which we really appreciated. She took excellent care of our dogs, walked them daily, and kept us updated with great communication and lots of pictures. She even went above and beyond by shoveling our driveway after some snowfall. We felt completely comfortable having her stay in our home and would absolutely book her again.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Mount Laurel walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Mount Laurel maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mount Laurel choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mount Laurel. On Rover:

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
