“Thank you for caring for my cat so well! It was calming to know my pet was in good hands during my absence. I truly valued the updates and the attentive care you gave. “Brijana always goes above and beyond with our pups! They are both needy in different ways and she makes both of them feel so loved and attended to. We highly recommend Brijana to care for your pups.”

“Grace is a wonderful sitter. I never have to worry while I’m away at work! She’s reliable, asks questions when needed, and always ensures both of my pups are properly taken care of.”

“Alex did a great job taking care of our Miley while we were away. Went the extra mile and gave her newly prescribed meds as needed and even took our mail/packages in the house. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again!”
About: I adopted two cats of my own in 2019 and have also been cat sitting for over two years. It’s hard to put into words how much I love animals, but caring for them has always been a big part of my life. 🤍 I regularly feed and care for stray cats in my community, and I’ve helped three adult strays find loving forever homes. Whenever I come across a cat or dog in need, I always try to help however I can. 🐾While I'm a cat person at heart, I'm equally passionate about dogs. I gained experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments through dog sitting and volunteer. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, handle various behavioral needs, and provide affectionate care. I enjoy walking, cuddling, and spending quality time with dogs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved! 🤍I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’ll treat your fur babies just like my own and make sure they are well-fed, cared for, and given plenty of love and attention while they’re with me! :) I’m currently a student and work part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules and your pet’s specific routine whenever possible. I understand that every pet has their own needs, so I’ll always do my best to work with you and your fur baby! :) I always make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow their usual feeding, walking, litter, play, and potty routines as closely as possible, and I pay close attention to their behavior and body language. I understand that every cat and dog has a different personality, so I respect their boundaries and never force interaction, especially with shy or anxious pets. I’m also careful about keeping doors, windows, leashes, and their surroundings secure. Most importantly, I’ll give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing❤️
About: I’ve had dogs and cats the whole 25 years I’ve been alive. I’ve always had a keen eye for knowing when they have to use the bathroom, need food and water or just need a friend. I’m a Roofer by trade for the Local 30 so I work Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. Most days I’m off by 2:30pm, some days 4pm so I set up my times around that. I usually let pets run around and live free round the house but can surely crate em if need be. They will always be fed and I have a pretty good sign on when they need to use the bathroom so you never have to worry about that.
“Bri was amazing. She took care of my pups as if they were her own. She took her time and they responded by warming up to her more each day as they are really shy with new people. Snoopy and Kiwi have a new best friend! Thank you”

“Kristen was an excellent communicator and I felt so comfortable leaving for the day knowing that she was stopping by. I also appreciated the meet and greet beforehand which showed me how much she cared to get to know Bongo and his needs! Would totally recommend.”

“Hali has been a life saver. So grateful for her. She took pics and kept me up to date with her visits. Loved the pictures. She is compassionate towards the animals. Will definitely use her again”

“Alexis is truly amazing! I have a nine week old boxer that Alexis has been dropping in on during the day. She is really friendly and loves my little puppy! Alexis Always gets back to my request almost immediately, and she is very reliable and trustworthy! I Definitely be recommending her to everyone I know that needs a dog walker”

Whether it’s puppy training or administering medications, I have hands on experience to keep them happy, healthy, and comfortable. Your pets won’t just be “watched” they will receive compassionate, knowledgeable care as if they were my own. I currently work from home. My job is not demanding so I have the flexibility to play with pets, care for them and take on frequent walks. Because I treat pet sitting as a priority, not a side gig, I maintain a reliable schedule and stay flexible for last minute needs from early morning drop-ins to weekend stays. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. In Your Home: I respect your space and follow your pet’s established routines to keep them comfortable and stress free. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other pets for the past year and genuinely love spending time with animals. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets while they’re away or at work. I’m patient, reliable, and comfortable with pets of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I currently am working 4 days a week and love to do this as a part time job! Any time I am not at work, I am available to your fur babies! In clients’ homes, I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty clean-up, medication if needed, and lots of attention and affection. I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are safe and happy!
“David was extremely attentive and careful with our very senior and very frail dog, as well as our other giant goofball of a dog and cat. He was reliable, punctual and worked with us to create a schedule that worked for everyone. We appreciate his attention to detail and the google doc of instructions. No hesitation whatsoever in hiring him again and referring him to anyone we know.”

“We have used Melissa twice now for our two week vacations and both times have been wonderful. Our fur babies love her and she always goes above and beyond. Thanks, Melissa!”

About: Hi! I’m Kaylin, a dog lover with over two years of professional experience as a dog bather. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies who can’t sit still to sweet senior dogs who just want a little extra patience and love. Working in a grooming salon taught me how to safely handle dogs, recognize when they’re feeling nervous, and help them feel comfortable and cared for. One of my favorite parts of the job was getting to know each dog’s unique personality (and handing out lots of belly rubs and compliments along the way!). Whether your pup needs a fun walk, someone to keep them company while you’re away, or plenty of playtime and cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I know our pets are family, and I’ll care for yours with the same attention and kindness I’d want for my own baby. i also would bathe cats sometimes! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m able to plan my schedule around walks, drop-ins, and visits to make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I’m used to being around animals every day from my experience as a professional dog bather, so caring for pets feels like a normal and rewarding part of my routine. I make sure to give each pet personalized attention, follow their usual schedule, and keep them comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special preferences their pet may have. I know that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep things clean, and provide plenty of attention, patience, and care. My two years of experience as a professional dog bather has helped me become comfortable handling dogs with different temperaments and needs, and I bring that same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after.

This is my second time booking with David and I must say I’m glad I stuck with him. He keeps you updated with any questions you have and is flexible with changes that needed to be made with my boys🐈⬛🐈⬛. I would recommend Dave to anyone not just because he’s a great sitter. He also genuinely cares about your pets and wants to make sure he does the best job. As long as he’s available he’s who I’m booking with for my boys!

Gabrielle did an incredible job with our difficult cat. She is so empathetic and has a deep understanding of cat behavior. She is detail oriented and made sure our cat had everything she needed. Gabrielle didn’t give up when our cat presented several challenges. We would definitely work with her again. Thanks so much!

Julie was great. She visited at our home before sitting for our two cats which was very comforting for me. She was there in the requested time frames each day and left a detailed message so I knew how our kitties were doing while we were away. We will definitely use her again. Thanks Julie.
Since I hadn’t known that I would be away from home until just a few days before, being able to find a local sitter with an open schedule was key to my piece of mind knowing that the cats would be fed appropriately. Nyah fulfilled this task admirably. I will keep her in mind for the next time.

Fallon was AMAZING! She took such incredible care of my cats and followed every instruction thoroughly. Even my very shy cat warmed up to her, which honestly says everything. She kept the apartment very clean, even with my cats being messy, and truly went above and beyond. I felt completely at ease the entire time and would 100% book her again. Highly, highly recommend Fallon! ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
