We have been so fortunate to have found Gabrielle to walk Em - she’s patient with her, gives her lots of love, great with communication and has been so cautious with her surgery precautions. We’ve even had neighbors tell us how sweet Gabrielle is to Em when they see them out for a walk. Would highly recommend!

About: Hi! I’m Kaylin, a dog lover with over two years of professional experience as a dog bather. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies who can’t sit still to sweet senior dogs who just want a little extra patience and love. Working in a grooming salon taught me how to safely handle dogs, recognize when they’re feeling nervous, and help them feel comfortable and cared for. One of my favorite parts of the job was getting to know each dog’s unique personality (and handing out lots of belly rubs and compliments along the way!). Whether your pup needs a fun walk, someone to keep them company while you’re away, or plenty of playtime and cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I know our pets are family, and I’ll care for yours with the same attention and kindness I’d want for my own baby. i also would bathe cats sometimes! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m able to plan my schedule around walks, drop-ins, and visits to make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I’m used to being around animals every day from my experience as a professional dog bather, so caring for pets feels like a normal and rewarding part of my routine. I make sure to give each pet personalized attention, follow their usual schedule, and keep them comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special preferences their pet may have. I know that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep things clean, and provide plenty of attention, patience, and care. My two years of experience as a professional dog bather has helped me become comfortable handling dogs with different temperaments and needs, and I bring that same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after.

Leaving a new puppy with a stranger is always nerve racking but from the first moment I met her, she put me at ease. My Great Dane puppy gets so excited to see her every time she picks him up. My puppy recently had to have surgery and was on multiple medication for a few weeks. Brijana was more than happy to give him his medicine and make sure he didn't play too much with her other dogs to ensure he didn't tear open his stitches. As annoying and high maintenance that was for her she never once complained and instead was happy to help get him better faster. We love her so much and there's no one else I'd trust to take care of my puppy. She is the best!!

About: I have experience with young and old dogs. I recently had to put down my sweet Goldendoodle, (Brady) after 17 years of joy. I would love to continue to take care of your pets. I have taken care of my sisters 2 dogs (5 and 3 ) weighing over 50 pounds and taken care of my neighbors dog who is probably no more than 7 lbs. Looking to have fun with them and plenty of belly rubs! My Mornings are free, I do not go into work until about 10:30 am. I can leave work to let your dog out early afternoon around 2 and will return no later than 7:30. I am free on the weekends. I know every dog is different. You tell me your dog’s needs and I will meet them. And no worries, I will keep you updated with pictures.

This was my first time using Rover, Alex has been super helpful when we needed a dog walker the most with a new baby on the way. My rescue coonhound Eddie can be a bit much at times but she made him feel really comfortable. Alex is friendly, reliable, and professional I would recommend her to anyone needing a dog walker or sitter

About: I adopted two cats of my own in 2019 and have also been cat sitting for over two years. It’s hard to put into words how much I love animals, but caring for them has always been a big part of my life. 🤍 I regularly feed and care for stray cats in my community, and I’ve helped three adult strays find loving forever homes. Whenever I come across a cat or dog in need, I always try to help however I can. 🐾While I'm a cat person at heart, I'm equally passionate about dogs. I gained experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments through dog sitting and volunteer. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, handle various behavioral needs, and provide affectionate care. I enjoy walking, cuddling, and spending quality time with dogs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved! 🤍I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’ll treat your fur babies just like my own and make sure they are well-fed, cared for, and given plenty of love and attention while they’re with me! :) I’m currently a student and work part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules and your pet’s specific routine whenever possible. I understand that every pet has their own needs, so I’ll always do my best to work with you and your fur baby! :) I always make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow their usual feeding, walking, litter, play, and potty routines as closely as possible, and I pay close attention to their behavior and body language. I understand that every cat and dog has a different personality, so I respect their boundaries and never force interaction, especially with shy or anxious pets. I’m also careful about keeping doors, windows, leashes, and their surroundings secure. Most importantly, I’ll give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing❤️

We had a great experience with Robbie caring for Chloe and Maisie. He was kind, reliable, communicative, and very attentive to both girls. His updates throughout the week were always thoughtful and reassuring, and we loved the photos he sent! Our puppy is very nervous with new people and even more nervous outside on a leash. Robbie didn’t seem worried when we told him this, and we now know why. We were genuinely impressed by how comfortable Maisie became with him. He was calm, patient, and encouraging, and we saw noticeable progress in her confidence and willingness to walk in the neighborhood over the course of the week. It really says a lot about him that she trusted him so quickly. Robbie was also respectful of our home and handled an unexpected mess with professionalism and kindness. He clearly cares about the dogs he works with, and it shows. We felt completely comfortable having him care for our girls, and seeing how excited and comfortable both dogs are with him says everything. We can’t wait to have him back to visit them again!

About: I have grown up with a house of animals and helped care for them all including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, hamsters, rabbits and chickens! I’ve also pet sit for family and friends on numerous occasions. I adopted a 3 month old puppy in May 2018 and she’s now almost 9 years old! Most of my experience is with larger dogs (50lbs and up) but I am comfortable with smaller dogs and pets too (including cats and caged animals). I have also had experience with dogs who don’t get along well with other animals, so can accommodate your pup who just needs one on one attention for drop ins. I am also comfortable with puppies, having raised one myself, and know all the extra work that goes into it. I work from home, so can do drop ins or walks during the day. Depending on your preference I can take them for walks, throw a ball in your yard, or just hangout with them in the house! I am very responsible, overprotective and loving. My dog is my baby, and I will treat your dog like my own! I work from home and have a flexible schedule during the work day, from 10AM to 4PM, and can care for your pet during these hours. When coming and leaving your home, I will always make sure doors and fences are secured. I will also make sure there are no hazards for your pup to get into.

David has been an amazing pet sitter for my dog, Lolla. He is always accommodating, even with my last-minute requests, which I truly appreciate. Lolla absolutely loves both David and his fiancée, and it was wonderful to see how excited she was when he came back for a second visit. She happily jumped into his car, which showed me how comfortable and happy she feels with him. David also provides regular updates and sends lovely photos, giving me peace of mind while I'm away. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
