Brijana was so amazing with Fern. We had never used Rover before our recent trip and Brijana made everything easy and kept in great contact before we left to make sure everything was set and sent great updates while we were away to help reduce any fear we may have had trusting someone with Fern. Fern started having an anxious stomach the morning before we left and Brijana accommodated the extra care needed for that seamlessly. You can tell how much she cares about her clients and that she brings a lot of experience and knowledge with her. We came back to a very happy pup and that was thanks to Brijana!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 we’ve always been a dog family. Even now at the age I am we still have dogs we walk them, take them outside every couple hours and feed them twice a day I have a passion for animals. Pet care is already part of my daily routine. I make time every day to feed pets, provide fresh water, take them on walks, play with them, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention. Throughout the week, I keep a consistent schedule and can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s extra walks, medication, or sticking to their normal feeding schedule. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In my home or a client’s home, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I provide updates with photos and messages so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for during their time away.

About: I have experience with young and old dogs. I recently had to put down my sweet Goldendoodle, (Brady) after 17 years of joy. I would love to continue to take care of your pets. I have taken care of my sisters 2 dogs (5 and 3 ) weighing over 50 pounds and taken care of my neighbors dog who is probably no more than 7 lbs. Looking to have fun with them and plenty of belly rubs! My Mornings are free, I do not go into work until about 10:30 am. I can leave work to let your dog out early afternoon around 2 and will return no later than 7:30. I am free on the weekends. I know every dog is different. You tell me your dog’s needs and I will meet them. And no worries, I will keep you updated with pictures.

About: I've taken care of pets of all kinds since I was very young, from birds to cats and lizards to dogs, being tasked to walk, care for, feed, and just generally oversee. I am also a current Pre-veterinarian undergrad, and am confident in my taught abilities to both handle and treat animals. I love working with any and all animals, and am absolutely thrilled to be working with your furry friends! I'm a fresh animal science graduate from the University of Delaware, and have a pretty flexible schedule. Inquire with what you need, and I'll let you know if the times align! I currently have a very eccentric 3 year old, and as such have experimented a lot in the safest possible options for your pets! I am super confident I can provide a safe environment where trust can be built and your pet is safe.

If you are looking for an experienced, considerate, and dedicated dog walker/sitter, then you've found your match! Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!

About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the past 6-8 years. Most have been friend’s and family’s and now I would like to extend my support to others who may need help. I would love walking your dog, letting them out for a quick run around the yard or a potty break. Feeding or checking in on your dogs and cats while you’re away or at work is also something I would love to help with. Let me know how I can help you take care of your fur baby when you can’t. I’m a teacher and have summers off to devote time during the week caring for your furry babies. I can come in the mornings and afternoons to help with walking, feeding, and letting out for exercise and potty breaks. I am a passionate animal lover who enjoys caring for both cats and dogs. I provide reliable and attentive pet care services, including feeding, walking, playtime, and general companionship. I understand that pets are family members, and I am committed to ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: Hi everyone! My family and I are huge animal lovers. While we love all kinds of pets, cats and dogs hold a special place in our hearts. We are proud parents to Boo and Luna, our wonderful 6-year-old sibling cats, and Nena, our energetic, fun, and loving 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix. What We Offer: -Dog Walking: We love staying active! Walks can range anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the weather and your dog's energy levels. -Bathing & Grooming Support: I can easily accommodate special requests for baths. Having worked through bath-time anxiety with my own dogs, I have plenty of patience and personal experience making it a calm, safe process. - Drop-In Visits: I’m available for drop-ins to assist with feeding, play, or potty breaks—whatever your fur baby needs while you're away. - Boarding: I would love to host your dog in our home! To ensure a safe and happy environment for both your pet and ours, I require a quick initial meet-and-greet at my home first. If you have any questions or want to see if we're a good fit, please feel free to send a message. I'd be happy to chat! Im a stay at home mom with a lot of availability. I am able to provide one on one time. Walks, play, training if needed. I love all animals and I handle every pet and home with the upmost respect. About: I’ve take care of animals since I adopted my cat in 2006. Since then, I adopted my first dog (Maltipoo) in 2008, a rabbit in 2014, a second dog (Belgian Malinois) in 2018, and a third dog (Golden Retriever Mix) in 2023. I am looking to make a little pocket money during medical school. My availability is entirely subjective to my school’s schedule so I’m often only available weekends. My dogs are crate trained and leash trained so I have the most experience with that. I am more than willing to be flexible and learn your pet’s routine.

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
