About: Hi! My name’s Selena, and I’m a medical student and lifelong animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with both dogs and cats. As a cat owner, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Every animal has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats that fit around my class schedule, with availability before or after class and on weekends. I especially enjoy dog walking because it gives dogs the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve while letting me spend time outdoors with them. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply having someone keep them company, I’ll make sure they receive patient, attentive care. Communication is important to me, so you’ll receive updates and photos after every visit. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, medications if needed, and any special instructions. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in caring, dependable hands. I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to getting to know you and your furry family member!
About: I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a pet of some sort under my care! From dogs, to birds, to fish, to frogs, I’ve really done it all! While I don’t have a furry friend of my own yet in vet school, I would love to take yours in and treat them like my own. I’ve already dedicated my life to the wellbeing of animals—why not include yours in that too! I’m currently a veterinary student so my schedule is a bit dynamic! I’m free 24/7 over the summer, but starting in September my availability shifts to evenings and weekends. Over the winter I will have more times open again! I live in a residential area with sidewalks (and a park!) perfect for daily walks, and I even have a fenced-in yard for extra play time. No other furry friends currently—so all of my attention will be on your baby!

About: I grew up in Washington DC and I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2024. I am currently a full time student at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine! Before I wanted to be a doctor I dreamed of being a veterinarian. I wanted to be around animals and care for them so badly that my parents signed me up for Cub Creek Science Camp (an animal camp). After two years as a camper, I got the opportunity to be an Animal Specialist in Training! This came with the responsibility of caring after the animals at the camp and leading activities for the campers. I grew always having dogs around the house and being at animal camp allowed me to learn about caring for all animals (cats, snakes, rodents, birds, etc.). I approach animal care with the utmost responsibility and care. Please note, I am very familiar and comfortable with specialized care. I have two senior dogs and one of them is blind. I am currently a medical school student so I have time in my schedule to look after your pups and kitties! Because of my class schedule I am free to do walks, drop ins, and house sitting. I care for my pets daily and ensure they have everything they need to be happy and healthy. I love animals and approach every pet the same way I do my own. I want to gain an understanding of your pets’ regular routine and replicate that so they feel the most comfortable once I begin caring for them.

I also work one-on-one with clients, giving me the ability to read behavior, adapt quickly, and personalize the relevant kind of attention—which is just as important for pets as it is for people. I’m calm under pressure, and committed to creating a positive, stress-free environment. “Maddie gives great services to my Sammy. She's always on time and has not missed any time since she started with Sammy. She follows through with pictures when walking him, and communicates with me immediately when I reach out to her.”

“This was my first time using Rover, Alex has been super helpful when we needed a dog walker the most with a new baby on the way. My rescue coonhound Eddie can be a bit much at times but she made him feel really comfortable. Alex is friendly, reliable, and professional I would recommend her to anyone needing a dog walker or sitter”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 20 years of hands-on pet care experience, including over 8 years as a professional pet sitter and dog walker with Achilles Total Pet Care, LLC. I’ve worked with dogs of every size, breed, and personality, including rescues, seniors and pups with special needs. My passion for animals started in 2004 when we adopted our first dog, Amber, who had never even been on a leash. We trained her from the ground up and she changed my life. From 2007 to 2009, I volunteered at the Voorhees Animal Orphanage doing community outreach, dog walking and was part of the "Pit Partners" program focusing on pit bull type breeds, many of whom needed extra exercise, patience, structure, and love. Since then, I’ve continued to dedicate my time and heart to helping dogs thrive. I also have over 15 years personal experience caring for our special needs dog, Max, who has severe environmental and food allergies, anxiety, and needs daily medication and ongoing management. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pet—and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m known for providing loving, dependable, and individualized care, whether it’s a long walk, playtime, medication, or just keeping your pet safe and happy while you’re away from home. My clients become like family—because their pets already are. ❤️ Let’s connect—I’d love to meet your furry family member! I’m available part-time for dog walks and drop-in pet visits while my kids are at school, activities, or camp. I occasionally offer pet sitting services when my schedule allows. I’m reliable, loving, and treat every pet like family! When I care for pets, whether it’s during a walk, a drop-in visit, or an occasional overnight stay at your home, safety and trust are my top priorities. I maintain open communication with you, providing updates and photos, so you always know your pet is in good hands. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Echelon
Alyssa was amazing with our dog while we went on vacation . She was flexible and attentive especially since the weather was not desirable (too hot). She was accommodating to make last minute changes to the time she was scheduled to walk our dog. Julissa G, 7/6/26

Lisa was fantastic with our dog Kodi! Kodi can be a bit timid with strangers but Lisa was able to coax her on a short walk and got her to go to the bathroom, which was the biggest thing I cared about! I really appreciate how patient she was and she even gave my cat Kuzco some love too, which I appreciate! I would highly recommend working with her!

Jenny has been unbelievably kind and patient with my shy rescue Jesse. He is responding quickly to her positive energy, learning to be friends and allow her to walk him. She has brought her husband Anthony and little daschund so they can walk together, a beautiful healing experience for my unsocialized, scared dog. They are gems and we are so lucky to have we found them!!

Sahiba was great to work with and took great care of our puppy during her visit to walk him. She came over to meet him and get to know him before the visit which put our minds at ease since we needed her to visit while we were out of town. He instantly seemed to bond with her as she has a great personality and obviously loves dogs. She was very good at communicating with us and really went the extra mile to make sure he was happy and well care for. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks.
