“Absolutely amazing!!! We can’t say enough good things about stephanie! She stepped in at the very last minute to watch our dog and did such an incredible job. From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely loves and cares for animals. We got regular updates and pictures, and it was obvious our pup was happy, comfortable, and so well taken care of. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was in great hands being so far away and for the first time ever!! We are so thankful! We were so nervous and our kids were happy and relaxed to know that our pup was being taken care of while we went on vacation. Thank you again for such amazing and loving care you provide!”

“Emeline is truly the best , we love her and the way she is with our 2 girls. She is always so flexible with our requests and bookings. Thanks again for everything you do for my babies!!!”

“Jill was absolutely wonderful with Charlie and Bailey. She and her fur baby Roscoe made them feel at home. Jill was so helpful, flexible and caring with them. They were administered meds regularly, fed and cared for with great love. Her home was beautiful and very clean but still very conducive to pet care. She was in touch with pics and reports daily and they always looked happy and healthy. She lives very close so that was an extra convenience. I’m excited that we’ve found such a wonderful caregiver so close to home. We will definitely be coming back.”

“John was a tremendous sitter! My dog Fenwick walked into John’s home and checked things out then laid doe on the floor and felt perfectly at home! He loved his time spent there. John has a great way with dogs! He truly cares for them!”

“Jayla was an amazing sitter for my pup awhile I was away. She’s quick with communicating and provided alot of updates on how your pet is adjusting during their stay. Will definitely use her services again.”

“It was our first time leaving our boy with Brian and will definitely not be the last. I’m sure Ragnar enjoyed his mini vacation with Teddy and Brian. Teddy and Ragnar just hit it from the start. Our boy came home to us safe and sound. 🥰”

“Michael was wonderful. My dogs were happy, kept safe and had a great time. Michael sent daily pictures and when I picked the dogs up, they seemed to really enjoyed their stay. I will rebook next month and Michael is highly recommended.”

“John was great! John was very thoughtful to my puppies’ needs. They loved their stay and got along with their new buddy Goose. I am almost afraid to write a too good of a review that my next booking with John might be harder to get because he does such a great job.”

“Artesha took excellent care of our two dogs. Provided pictures and updates while we were away. We were perfectly at ease with her watching our dogs. Definitely recommend!”

“Maryori was the perfect choice for our fur baby Bentley. She was very warm and welcoming, and she made our boy feel right at home. He spent his birthday with her and she went out of her way to buy him a few gifts and treats which we appreciated very much! I will definitely book her again.”

“Jenny and her family took such great care of my fur baby. I loved the daily pictures and videos to update me on my pup. She was so happy and her vibrant self. I was afraid she would be sad since this was the first time we spent more than a couple of days apart, but Jenny and her family took such great care of her that she was able to get comfortable almost instantly. I would definitely book with them again.”

“Marti had a lovely extended stay with Meg while we traveled. We were confident that she was safe, sound and happy and know that both Marti and Meg are looking forward to their next visit together in the not-too-distant future!”

About: My love for dogs is endless. I've been involved in dog rescue for over 12 years. The fun dogs, the shy dogs, the dogs with no direction and the perfect dogs, dogs of all ages. A very quiet home with playtime if they want it or quiet time that they need. I provide lots of enrichment and a full secure yard where they can run and play, or just sun bathe. I have been dog sitting for years and I've also been a part of a dog rescue where I've seen everything. Each one of our family members deserves love and respect and a little extra when their family is on vacation. It should be a relaxing time for our canine family too! I pride myself on the reaction of my visitors when they come back over and over!!! My schedule allows me to give your family members all the time and attention they could ask for in my home. I never want your furry family to feel like they aren't comfortable and I will engage with them as much or as little as they would like while giving them the space they need if they choose. I have a fully fenced in yard, but no one is out in the yard unattended. I also have the ability to completely separate dogs with separate exits/entrances. All dogs are able to go on couches and dog beds throughout the house and if they need their own space, I have that capability as well. The separated room has it's own tv, couch and is where I spend most of my day working. If your pup(s) is friendly, they are able to keep us company throughout the house. Smoke-free home.
“Samantha was great! Very knowledgeable about dogs. She sent me a picture of her daughter reading Milo a book. Adorable! She kept me updated about Milo and informed me of a health condition with Milo. Very much appreciated!”

“Natalie was a great host — super communicative and sent several pics and updates for our pup’s overnight stay. Her dog, Luna, is also super friendly and great with guests. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Zyiana is an excellent sitter. Sent daily updates and pictures of my dog. He seemed very happy during his stay. I highly recommend and will book again!”

“I would recommend John and Michelle to anyone looking to board their dog for any period of time. My dog can be anxious and they went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable. They were immediately responsive when I reached out and provided fun updates throughout her stay. I look forward to using them in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Moorestown
Denise accepted a last-minute booking for Kenny and took wonderful care of him. She sent photos every day and kept him active, comfortable, and happy throughout his stay. I was also glad to see that she brushed him regularly, which is especially important for a Shih Tzu. I would happily book with Denise again.

Mónica is great with my senior dog! He has separation anxiety of we leave him. But with Mónica, he is comfortable and happy to be with her. She provides updates and pictures throughout the pet's stay. It definitely eases my mind knowing that my dog is in good hands. I highly recommend her for your pet!

Jen was absolutely amazing with my three babies. From the moment we visited with her I knew they would be in the best of hands. She sent constant updates and photos, reassuring me the entire time that they were doing great. She is just the kindest person and we will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Jen!

Craig took amazing care of our two pups while we travelled for the Christmas holiday. His place was absolutely perfect with the large back yard, and he also took them on many walks throughout the day. They had a great experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
