“Juliana was amazing! She was available last minute which was a huge relief. She took care of Scottie as if she were her own and was so sweet with her. 10/10 will be reaching out to her for future needs!”

“Cathy could not have been a better sitter. She was communicative, stuck to the routine and went the extra mile for us. I’m so glad I booked her for our weekend travels and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again in the future. Would recommend her to anyone!”

“Breanna was fantastic and our dogs love her! She is always very quick to respond and therefore met our urgent needs when we needed her most. We appreciate her and will be using her again in the future!”

“Paz did a great job. She pays very close attention to detail, even going so far as to take lots of notes during our meet and greet. My dog is reactive so needs special care around other dogs. Paz followed my directions and safely navigated around the problems. She was also willing to take care of my dog despite having a sudden bout of diarrhea that started the day before her visit. Lots of pictures and excellent communication.”

“Anne is such a great dog sitter! We hired her to do drop-ins at our house to feed our dog Ruthie and let her out for bathroom breaks. Anne's updates were excellent, and there were no issues whatsoever. We were able to enjoy a nice weekend away worry free! We already have Anne booked for the next time we go out of town, and we hope to use her services for the foreseeable future. Thanks, Anne!”

“Barbara was the perfect sitter for our kitty while away for the holidays. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures that we appreciated and that put our minds at ease!”

“Meghan is amazing and all over her time stamps are so detailed, they make me laugh as she describes our pups personalities so well! Thank you as always Meghan, we appreciate you more than you know!”

“Olivia was wonderful and helped keep our minds at ease while we were away. This is the longest trip we’ve taken and were reassured with daily check-in photos and details on our cats. Olivia is always quick to respond and was so wonderful to work with. She provided so many photos that truly highlighted how well the cats were cared for a while we were away. Our cats aren’t the most friendly which she understood and worked with their personalities. Highly recommended Olivia for any cat sitting needs”

“We are so lucky to have found Rachel! She took amazing care of our dog, Marnie. She kept me updated with lots of pictures and I could tell she was taking care of our dog like she was her own. She was reliable and I could enjoy my trip without worrying about my dog or my house. Will DEFINITELY be using Rachel to watch Marnie in the future.”

“Julianna was wonderful! She was communicative, quick to respond, and right on time for Georgia’s drop-in visits. She took great care of our pup and sent us the sweetest pictures and updates while we were away. We felt completely at ease knowing Georgia was in good hands and can’t wait to book with her again!”

“Andrea is absolutely amazing! Our Scooter is a very shy boy and Andrea went out of her way to come visit him multiple times before our plan trip. She is very responsive and gave our boys so much love while we were away. HIGHLY recommend ! We will for sure be using Andrea again for future trips . Thank you again , you are the best!”

“Absolutely amazing from start to finish! She took the time to do a meet and greet to meet our goldendoodle peaches. Asked questions about how we were transitioning her kibble and gave loving care to our puppy while we were away at work. Her reports are detailed with videos and pictures of all the fun they had and she even offered to clean my floors when they got dirty from the salt on our sidewalk from the snow storm we had last week. You will not regret booking her!”

About: I have always been surrounded by different household animals. Dogs, cats, crabs, fish. I do not currently have the resources to have my own furry friend but have carved time to begin walking and sitting to still have an outlet for pet connection. I am eager to get into a conversation and discuss some options. Chat soon :) I am flexible. Looking to build my work schedule around walking and sitting. I would like to walk dogs early in the morning 5/6 am but flexible to walk at night as well When walking dogs, I am aware of soundings to keep them safe. I will keep them to the route planned and expected to ensure habits follow as normal.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and did over night visits. For friends and family. I also have taken care of puppies that were 6 months. I’m currently working part time at Costco. I normally work night shift and have two days off. I could walk dogs in the morning or at night I normally feed them twice a day once in the morning and the other at night. I would walk them three or four times a day. I would then take them outside to either play or run around in a safe environment.

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Breanna! She has known Harper since we moved to Media three years ago, and over that time, she has become such a constant, caring presence in our lives. She has followed us through one house move and even two pregnancies, always showing Harper the same incredible level of love and attention. Breanna goes so far above and beyond what you could ever expect from a dog walker. Her updates and notes show just how closely she pays attention to Harper and how genuinely invested she is in her well-being. We always feel completely confident knowing Harper is in her care. And somehow, she manages to make our lives a little easier, too. She’ll bring in our mail and packages, and on more than one occasion, she’s even put away a loaf of bread I accidentally left sitting on the counter after a hectic morning with my two boys. Breanna is reliable, kind, attentive, trustworthy, and truly treats Harper like her own. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dog with their whole heart. Harper absolutely adores her, and so do we!

I am nervous pet parent with a senior cat with medical needs who believes that I am the only person who can properly care for my kitty. I was wrong! Barbara did an excellent job. She was very caring and attentive to my cat’s special needs and put me completely at ease while I was away. Barbara is the best.

Naomi has been so supportive related to our needs for a kitty caregiver. She visited with our two Siamese cats who can be a bit anti-social and picky eaters. They were so calm when I returned - relaxed and not anxious. She cared for all their food and personal needs - always checking in and keeping our family up to date! Thank you!!
Callie came for a meet and greet. My dog was belly up and waggy very quickly. We decided immediately that we found our sitter. She is bubbly and eager and has good attention to detail. I have a few rules.. they were followed explicitly. We have decided to do weekly drop ins leading up to an overnight. Callie has been here and our pup loved her time with her. I can relax knowing she’s in good hands

Olga did an amazing job with our kitties while we were on vacation! We came back to the litter boxes spotless and two happy and healthy furry friends. There was even a minor logistical issue that came up during her time here that Olga quickly found a solution for on her own and dealt with so we didn't have to worry a bit. I will definitely book Olga next time we're out of town!

Robyn is an absolute delight to us! She takes her job even more seriously than I could expect, and goes above and beyond in all ways. She is so good at caring for all our pets, kitty, toad, and turtle. Then she gives corn to the deer that come through our property! She follows every instruction perfectly, and is extra conscientious. We are so happy to have her help us when we are away!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
