“Bree is always on time, does a full walk, takes photos, knows our two dogs (they both love her), and is so good at all of this that she gets it done with no disruption to our work from home situation. She is exactly what we have been looking for.”

“Anne was great with Hope ! Hope was a little Stan offish at first but Anne was able to make a good connection and Hope enjoyed her walk. Would gladly use Anne again in the future.”

“Barbara is a very reliable dog walker. She came for a meet and greet before walking my dog. She arrived for the walk at the scheduled time and sent me time-stamped pictures of Sadie. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Andrea is doing wonderfully with our dog Bear. Bears a little shy around new people but she took right to Andrea and is excited every time she comes to our home. Andrea is also incredibly flexible and a joy to work with. Highly recommend.”

About: My first memory was reaching out to pet the family dog and by the age of 8 I was the main care taker and trainer of our family pets (Sheltie, Poodle, Akita, Bearded Dragon). By 14 began pet sitting ranging from puppies at 8 months to senior dogs at 17 years old. I have cared for many of my neighbors pets that includes cats, hedgehogs, and hamsters. As I got older, I became braver and currently have two snakes. I am home full time and typically start my day with a morning walk which is always more appreciated with a four legged friend or two. In my care I offer daily updates and photos. For check-ins I typically stay for an hour to ensure the pets are well taken care of as well as provide extra walks or play time for the more energetic.
About: I’ve taken care of my own, and friends’ dogs as well as cats since I was young. Large, medium, or small, I love them all. I’m a high school teacher, so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets in the summer. I’m reliable, punctual, and responsible. My two dogs have a fenced in yard and get walked daily. Just like humans, mental and physical stimulation is essential for our beloved pets.
About: Hi, I'm Kaylee! I have 8+ years of hands-on experience caring for pets and genuinely love working with animals. I currently offer dog walking, cat sitting, and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I've owned cats my entire life and currently have a cat of my own, as well as a large, energetic black lab. Because of that, I'm comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including those who pull on leash, are high energy, reactive, nervous, or still learning their manners. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for birds. I've owned parakeets and currently own a cockatiel. I'm also comfortable caring for small pets such as hamsters and guinea pigs and am happy to follow detailed care instructions to keep them comfortable and safe. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am available for most morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I care for pets in their own homes so they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration, litter box cleaning, or simply some extra attention, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and attentive, and I always send detailed updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I’m a stay at home mom so I have a good amount of time on my hands. Most days are open in the morning, afternoon, and evening except Wednesday and Friday evenings. I care for pets in their own home so they stay comfortable and stress free. I stick to your routine, handle walks, feeding, and playtime, and make sure they get lots of attention. I also send updates so you always know how they’re doing.

I prioritize your pet's comfort and happiness by treating them as if they were my own. My approach centers on maintaining a safe, stimulating, and consistent routine, whether that involves strict adherence to dietary schedules or managing high-energy play. I hold certifications in Experience with senior pets and Experience with special needs pets. I remain calm during emergencies, prioritizing quick, responsible decision-making while keeping you fully informed. I am punctual, kind, and empathetic, and I truly enjoy helping shy dogs come out of their shells. With my own reliable transportation, I am ready to provide your dog with the dedicated care they deserve. I look forward to treating your beloved companion with the same love and attention I give my own. I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walks throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to provide reliable, consistent walks and plenty of exercise, attention, and care. Animals have always been a part of my family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. My childhood dog lived to be 15 years old, and I was there to help care for him throughout his life, especially in his senior years when he needed extra support. He was truly my best friend and taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive care. Today, I care for my own dog and cat every day by feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they are happy and healthy. I walk my dog before and after work and throughout the day as needed, and I enjoy spending quality time playing with both my dog and cat. I have a genuine love for animals, but dog walking is something I especially enjoy. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and I will treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets.

“Destinee did a great job of walking my dog, Remi! He can be very anxious but he seems very chill with her and she kindly listens to him when he stubbornly does not want to walk for too long, which I very much appreciate!”

Chen has been a blessing! I was looking for a reliable dog walker for a while. Chen is great with my two large labradoodles who have a tendency to pull from time to time. She is always punctual and communicative when the schedule needs to change. I appreciate that she always sends pictures and updates of how the pups are doing and keeps me posted of their shenanigans like when they got into their wet food the other day. She even cleaned it up and put the food away for me. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pups I highly recommend Chen! She is great!

Kim was awesome I needed a last minute dog walker and she responded right away. She was very thoughtful and considerate asking questions about my dog. She kept me notified and sent pictures and she gad a great disposition and personality!! I never met her before and trusted her in my home with my dog and she made me feel reassured and confident I highly recommend her!

Barbara is an excellent dog walker and we will go back to her time and time again. She works very well with our shy border collie and took the time to get to know him (3 visits!) before our first actual paid visit. She is very punctual and communicative which we really appreciate.

Nathan is the exact person you wanted taking care of your pets. He would take little Nathan out for us everyday at lunch time and my dog looked forward to his daily trips with one of his best buds. He always treated Nathan kindly and I never had to worry about anything. Not only was he professional but he became a crucial part of our day to day. I’d gladly take his services any day. 10/10 walker. 1000/10 person!

Kevin is wonderful. Having a difficult dog, can leave you with limited options. Kevin has the patience and kindness that is just what’s needed to get our Brooke leashed up and out for a walk. Once out, I believe she’s well behaved, it’s the initial excitement and new people gets her stirred up. Also, all instructions are followed as I worry if my single dog gets into the area my other 2 dogs there could be an issue. This is the 3rd walk w Kevin. I’m very happy and I can feel confident at work knowing all of our dogs are well cared for… Thanks again Kevin!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
