“Micheal was awesome! I was worried about our cat getting his medication but Micheal was wonderful and able to ensure he got his meds every day! We are extremely pleased and look forward to future bookings knowing our cats will be in great hands while we are away.”

“Caitlin was great! Dropped in on our cat and beta fish while we were on vacation. She even did and extra drop because there was a heatwave in the power had gone out so she just did quick check that the animals made it through that okay!”

“We would 10/10 recommend Margaret to anyone!! She was so quick to respond and help us when we needed it last minute, even during the holidays. Margaret is consistent, very reliable and great with sending updates and photos. Our dogs can be a little crazy, but Margaret has loved them so well!! Thank you!!”

About: I have shared my home with dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and more. Currently my family includes one dog, three cats, and two roosters. All happily rescued and loving life! Growing up our home always included dogs and cats, and any other small animals I insisted on having. Caring for animals is second nature to me and something I deeply love. I currently work remotely for a small nonprofit, where most of my time is spent on the computer. While I enjoy the work, I miss being around animals and am looking to slowly transition back into that world. With flexible hours and a love for pet care, I'm excited to reconnect with what brings me joy. I treat every pet like my own - making sure they feel safe, seen, and loved. Whether it's a walk, playtime, or a quick check-in, I pay close attention to their needs, energy level, and comfort.

“I cannot even begin to explain how much of a lifesaver Rebecca was while we were on vacation. She went above and beyond in everything she did. I didn't worry about my kitty at all while I was gone because I knew she was in such good hands. She was super responsive and sent me lots of pictures of my girl so I didn't miss her quite so much. We will definitely be using Rebecca for our next vacation if she is available!”

“Hope was awesome! Her initial meet and greet with Oakley & I made it easy to see her trust worthyness. And now Oakley has a new friend. I love how easy it was to tell that Oakley got all of his wiggles out cuz he was calm by that time I got home. I'll definitely use Hope's services again. Sharon”

About: I've had pets for most of my life, I spent 20+ years in the Pet Industry taking of a wide variety of animals from dogs and cats to tarantulas and salt water fish. I've been living and working on a farm for 10 years, taking care of my own animals, and am no stranger to larger farm animals. I currently work with a mobile petting zoo, and I volunteer at the Woodland Park Zoo, using my accumulated animal knowledge to educate guests and patrons. I'm a full time artist, and work on my own farm including 30+ hens, 2 terriers, 3 cats, 2 shubunkins and a uromastyx. I've often time found myself going out of town, and in need of someone like me to pop in now and again and take care of things while I'm gone, I'm hoping I can be that for someone else in need My clients pets are their family, when I come to your home, I will take care of your animals as you request I do. I've always been comfortable around a variety of animals, and have decades of experience dealing with things from excitable pitbulls to angry parrots. My home is unfortunately not available to board animals, while my terriers love people, they're intimidated by other dogs, and there's no reason to give any animal undo stress at a time where you're not with them, their most trusted person

About: My husband, Len, and I had dogs for most of our married life of over 45 years; 1 Siberian Husky, 3 beagles, and 3 English bulldogs. We are retired and have time to spend caring for your fur babies. We moved to Monroe two years ago to be near one of our children. We now have the time to spend caring for your pets. We have not adopted a dog because we have had to travel back to our home town for extended periods due to medical issues of family members. We are now able to offer assist to pet owners with their needs. We have a fenced yard where they can explore freely. We also are near a large park and lake, where there are walking paths where both people and dogs enjoy walking around. A one story house where dogs, who are older, don’t have stairs to climb. Your dog is welcome to sit with us on the sofa, and sleep comfortably. We can also crate during the night. We will accommodate your schedule with your dog at your home also.

About: I am a former veterinary technician who still works in the field. I am comfortable with dogs/cats of all ages and sizes. I am comfortable with medication administration. I’m great with fearful pets. I work four days a week at a veterinary hospital. I have my own dog and cat that my partner takes care of when I’m sitting. My schedule is open enough to accommodate midday walks and meds if needed. I am careful and meticulous when it comes to animal care- mine or yours! Doors stay closed until the leash is attached. Food and meds stay on schedule. I work hard to make it as calm an experience as possible.

“We love Nicole and amazing to have her back for the moment! She is so good with dogs and they love her, especially Miss Bella. Thank you for making our dogs feel loved and taking care of them!”

About: I have had pets my whole life and have also worked at a dog boarding kennel. I love dogs and have trained my dog very well. I know how to take care of dogs with specific care needs/seniors who may need a little extra patience and support. I am a part-time student and work a part-time job so I will be available weekends and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 4pm usually. This could change depending on school workload but I will always keep everything updated! I will always be very safe about walking and making sure the pets are my number one priority. Being very careful about open doors/gates as well as making sure they have the right lease/collar/harness on when going on walks.

“Olivia is fantastic!! She is so loving and went above and beyond taking care of our sweet kitty. Her pics and updates were so helpful and helped ease us missing our pet. Will definitely use her services again! Thanks, Olivia!”

She is scrupulous about the details of care that I share with her and safety is always her number one priority. Josh H.Star Sitter
“I've had the opportunity to observe Josh with all types of pets: saltwater fish, cats, horses, tarantulas, dogs, lizards, frogs, and chickens for the last 24 years. He is a loving and caring pet parent, who always puts the animals' wants and needs first. Whenever he takes care of my cats, I come home to happy kitties and a clean litter box. My chickens are always safe and happy, too! Anyone that owns chickens knows they will stop laying eggs when someone new comes to care for them, but they trust Josh right away. He's even strong enough to lift bales of hay and straw for livestock. Your pets would be happy to play with Josh!”
