About: Since I was a kid, I have enjoyed spending as much time as I can with animals. In fact, one of my greatest joys is being with animals. My grandfather (who was a farmer for part of his life) impressed upon me the importance of caring for animals. I consider your pets my family. I have 9 years experience owning and working with a variety of pets including rats, cats, dogs, and tortoises! I have experience working with pets with anxiety and other special needs. My favorite part of drop ins & walks is the satisfaction of knowing I made a difference in your furry friend’s day. I have a calm and friendly demeanor, and I have great rapport with dogs and cats. I make it a point to read and interpret dog & cat body language. I have worked with skittish cats who warmed up to me. I love playing with cats and dogs alike, and understand how important it is for your friend to have his or her play time. If your pet has a favorite toy, let me know. I will cook or prepare raw food per your instructions if this is your preference. My availability is as follows: Mon-Sunday morning and/or evenings. May be able to do noon or afternoon. I want to do what you do, so I will take note of your walk or routine. Does your dog like brisk walks or slow walks, do they like to go to a nearby park or prefer walking in your neighborhood? Do you like to mix it up with a new spot each time? I strongly urge all bookings to have a meet & greet before the booking date in order to see how your pet takes to me. Special note: occasionally, the Rover app may estimate your distance from me being up to 5 or 6 miles off. This occasionally happens depending on where the client entered the information or where they were when they booked. I may ask you for general cross streets or zip code before I confirm a booking to ensure I will be able to accommodate your dog or cat. For bookings that are more than 10 miles distance, I do charge a $4 gas fee per booking. I treat your home with respect. I strive for cleanliness, and I take precautions to ensure the healthiest environment for you and your pet. This includes sanitizing my hands before entering your home, and washing my hands before pet feeding and watering. I am a weekend sitter. I am available on weekends. Do you want to get away for the weekend or need to catch up on extra work or phone calls? Do want your dog to have a good walk and time as well? Reach out to me. I am available on the weekends! On weekdays, I cannot guarantee availability on all days, but I am occasionally available in the mornings and evenings if I am all caught up on my lesson planning. While I cannot guarantee full availability on all weekdays, feel free and ask! *note: I charge a $5 travel fee if outside my service radius to account for gas and time. I currently am unable to have animals at my place of residence. This is one of the reasons I love taking care of your dog or cat so I can have some interaction with them.

About: As a registered veterinary technician, I bring a level of experience and confidence that most sitters can’t offer. I’ve worked in animal hospitals, emergency clinics, and shelters, caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and medical conditions — including seniors, reactive dogs, and those needing medication or post-surgery care. I’m also trained to notice early signs of illness, stress, or injury, so your pet’s safety is always my top priority. What truly sets me apart is my calm, compassionate approach, shaped not only by my professional background but also by becoming a mom. I understand how much your pet means to your family, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether you’re raising a playful puppy or caring for a sweet senior, you can trust me to provide knowledgeable, gentle, and loving care. I am currently available Thursday through Sunday 7 AM to 12 PM. I can do 30 minute walks or 60 minute walks. I can do 30 minute check-in. Unfortunately, at the moment I am currently not bringing pets to my home. I will only be walking dogs or/ and doing check ins. Thank you

“Ilana is an incredibly responsible and trustworthy dog sitter. She is prompt, meticulous and most of all genuinely adores our dog. Ilana communicates with us bot during and after her visit and gives us regular feedback about their time together. Much appreciated.”

About: What truly sets me apart as a pet sitter is my comprehensive understanding of pet wellness, rooted in both professional expertise and lifelong personal experience. I am a Certified Pet Nutrition Coach through NAVC, giving me specialized knowledge in dietary needs and the critical role nutrition plays in a pet's overall health. My background in the natural pet food industry further deepens this understanding, allowing me to offer truly wholistic pet care that goes beyond basic feeding. I can identify and cater to specific dietary requirements, ensuring your pet receives the best possible nourishment. Beyond my professional certifications, I've been a dedicated cat mom for 5 years, intimately familiar with feline behavior, needs, and the nuances of cat care. On the canine side, I have 20 years of hands-on dog sitting experience for friends and family, covering a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and ages. This extensive experience means I'm comfortable with everything from energetic puppies needing consistent training and socialization to senior dogs requiring gentle care, medication administration, and extra patience. My passion for animals, combined with my specialized knowledge in nutrition and two decades of practical care, ensures your beloved pet will receive not just supervision, but truly informed, compassionate, and personalized attention. I currently work from home, and have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I'm a single mom with two teens who also love animals, and would be thrilled to shower them with love (they'd love for us to have more pets). I have a fenced back yard, and live in a beautiful condo community with a lush courtyards for short walks, and live near a big park and walking paths for longer walks. I don't mind cuddling with pets in bed at night, if that's what they are used to. If your pet is crated, I'll be sure to follow all instructions to keep their routine as consistent as possible.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and have always had dogs in my life. I was raised caring for many dogs at a time, all with such distinct personalities and differing needs. When pet sitting for friends, relatives, and neighbors, I adjust to their dog’s behavior and understand what they need quickly. I’m able to understand and listen to a dog’s needs, while respecting their boundaries and making them feel comfortable. I just want your furry friend to feel safe and cared for which is what I do when I pet sit. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to pet sit your dog soon! I’m currently a full time student but my classes are mainly online so I’m able to pet sit everyday beside Monday and Wednesday before 3pm. This can vary depending on the week but, consistently, this is my schedule. When pet sitting in my clients home, I make sure to slowly introduce myself depending on your animals comfort level. If your dog or cat is skittish, I make sure to keep my distance at first, move to their level, and make it known that I am safe person by giving them treats or toys. Their boundaries set by their body language is what I follow in order to decide the best way to approach your dog or cat, making sure they can feel comfortable and safe.

About: I treat every dog like family—with love, patience, and personalized care. What sets me apart is my reliability, strong attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. I take the time to learn each dog’s unique personality and routine, whether that means energetic playtime, gentle cuddles, or special dietary or medical needs. One thing my clients especially appreciate is that I always provide proof of walks. I send time-stamped photos, videos, or GPS-tracked walk summaries so you can feel confident knowing your pup is getting the exercise and care they need. I also keep you updated regularly with messages and pictures, so you’re never left wondering how your dog is doing. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities. Pet care fits really well into my schedule! I’m currently taking online courses to further my education. So I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your fur baby! Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening check-ins, I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s needs. I make sure to plan my time so your pet always gets the care they deserve. Whether your dog is staying in your home or mine, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved at all times. In your home, I follow their usual routine—meals, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel secure in their familiar environment. I keep your space clean and treat it with the utmost respect. If your dog is staying in my home, I provide a cozy, welcoming space where they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I maintain a calm, pet-friendly environment and stick to their routine as closely as possible to help them settle in comfortably.
