“Amazing cat sitter! Qiyun/Kiki was so accommodating when we had to book our cat Lucy on very short notice. She took great care of her, sending regular pictures and updates on how she was doing. I would rate her 100 stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely have your kitty stay here!”

“My dog Apollo loved his time at Beth's house. He was able to spend a lot of time playing in her fenced backyard, which is his favorite things to do, and Beth kept me updated regularly with pictures of him playing. We would definitely book with Beth again in the future.”

“Amy and Carl took such great care of my dog. It was our first time using Rover, let alone leaving her with someone outside of our family, so we were definitely nervous since she can be a bit anxious. But they were both so patient and kind with her that she warmed up to them really quickly. Amy was also amazing about sending daily updates and pictures, which we always looked forward to while we were on vacation. I’m really glad we chose Amy over traditional boarding and would absolutely book with them again in the future!”

About: I have been doing pet sitting since high school and have been a volunteer dog walker for the Humane Society of Missouri for 11 years. I currently have one customer not through Rover and have had more in the past, but I am looking forward to my first Rover job! I love animals (cats, dogs, and other animals). I don't have any pets but hang out with my brother's dog a lot when he is out of town. I walk dogs at the Humane Society on Tuesday but am free most hours and days since I have reduced my time delivering with Doordash. I am looking to build up pet sitting time and can schedule my days around this most days. I can visit your home and spend time with your pet. I can walk your pet, give them food, water, and medicine as needed, and let them outside to go to the bathroom. Your dog will feel comfortable on his or her walk or your pet will enjoy the drop-in visit and time spent with me. I can leave your pet in a certain part of your house or crate at your request.
“Cynthia and Robert were great taking care of my doggies. Cynthia is very responsive and makes sure all the dogs needs are met. She’s great in sending photos and updates every day. Her family is great also. I can tell that my dogs had a good time. I will definitely be using their boarding services again.”

“Allison did a great job with my girls. She gave plenty of updates, exercise and love. She and her family went above and beyond when one of my doggies was terrified of storms providing extra TLC. I loved the pictures where her children were cuddling with my dogs to keep them calm during the storm. I definitely recommend her. Thanks for everything Allison.”

“Paula did a wonderful job - she deserves Five Stars for watching over my pup Watson! It was my first experience going through Rover for dog boarding. Friends recommended checking her out as they’d used her and were very happy. She did not disappoint - Watson was just as relaxed when being dropped off and when picking him up at the end of my trip.”

“Tom and his family were very friendly and welcoming to our pet. Copper had a lot of fun lounging around and going on walks - we enjoyed seeing the pictures and will definitely use Tom again!”

“Mika and her family were great with Rambeau. He looked happy and content. We enjoyed Rambeau's daily pictures and short video updates while we were out of town. And I hope to use them again. :-)”

“Melissa and family kept us constantly updated with our pup during her stay and were incredibly understanding when our flight was delayed and pivoted to doing a drop off. We cannot thank them enough for their care of her.”

“Sammy always comes home very happy from Alicia's family home. We appreciate her communications and photo updates. I'm sure Sammy will be excited about his next visit and spending time with her dog, Jet. Thank you, Alicia!”

“We had a great experience! She made our nervous dog feel comfortable from the very beginning and treated her like she was one of her own. She kept in great communication throughout the entire stay, sent lots of updates and photos, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious how much she genuinely cared for our sweet girl and we will absolutely use her again.”

“Excellent! I believe our dog Benny had the time of his life! He hates kennels and it’s obvious that he felt right at home with Angel. Angel sent daily photos and updates and couldn’t have been better!”

“Hattie was great! She took such good care of Essie, kept me updated and even alerted me to a possible concern. She showed great care and treated Essie as her own. Will definitely use her again!”

“Best experience ever!! Reema was so sweet and took great care of our Maverick over the holidays. She kept in touch and sent photos daily. We would highly recommend her!”

“Jennifer is definitely among the greatest sitters you can get! She was so caring and accommodating. Her cats are also very sweet and sociable, it was great to see how well they got along with my cat Tori. She also sent a lot of photos and videos so I can tell Tori is having a great time at Jennifer's place. Highly recommended to anyone who needs to board their fur babies!”

“Jennifer’s place is like a home away from home for my furbaby. She gets super excited every time we approach the street and she has a blast on every visit. Jennifer’s love for dogs really shines through.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Manchester
Had a great second experience with Misty and her family. She was easy to communicate with and helped me feel at ease when I shared a couple of my dog’s “quirks” that always worry me if she’s with other people. Dutchess came home happy and well cared for. Hoping to have her stay with them again in the future.

Lucy had a great stay with Carly and Doug. We got several messages and pictures during our trip, and she seemed to get along very well with them and their dog. Lots of exercise and attention. We'll definitely contact them again the next time we're going out of town. Thanks so much!

Blanca is the absolute best!!! She took amazing care of my dog Oscar. I loved all the pictures, videos, and updates she sent me during his stay. The communication was great and she was very flexible with the drop off and pick up times. I will definitely be using her again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
