Work close to home-nice fenced yard
Dog sitting where your dog can roam about the house and feel at home; not spend his/her days in a kennel. Your dog can even sleep with us in bed, if that’s what they’re used to. I can also provide crating at night or while at work, if desired. Your pet will be welcomed, played with, and loved by myself and my husband - we also have 3 dogs of our own. We take walks around the neighborhood and spend quite a bit of time enjoying the fenced in back yard. We have more dog toys than a single dog really needs (but can you ever really have too many toys??). My younger dog would love to play, but if your dog isn't interested in that, she's completely fine keeping her distance too. The other two dogs are friendly, but older gentlemen 😂

Weezy seemed to enjoy his stay. We shortened our trip out of town, so the extra money from the time Weezy was not there will be our tip to Jess for this trip.
Jess was great to work with during Lucas's second stay with her and Lucas seemed very comfortable and relaxed in her home and with her dogs and family. We loved receiving the daily pics and comments on what he was up to and although we missed him terribly, we felt content that he was being well cared for and given plenty of hugs. Thank you for another great stay, Jess!

Schedule
I work outside the home, but close enough I can pop in and check on the dogs. We have a doggy door in the basement that leads to the fenced in yard. My husband and I also work a staggered schedule, so “alone” time is at a minimum, even if we’re both working.

Safety, trust & environment
We try to keep things as close to “normal” as we can when we have a dog in our home. They’re allowed to roam freely, if that’s what they’re used to or if they prefer the safety and familiarity of their kennel, we can do that too. We have separate rooms/pet gates for upstairs and downstairs, if dogs need to be kept separate, but not kenneled.

A typical day
We have a plethora of dog toys to play with. A nice sized privacy fence back yard for the dogs to play and run, can play fetch, or sunbathe on the concrete patio. Walks around the dog-friendly neighborhood with little street traffic. I also have a “nanny cam” to check in on the dogs while I’m at work.
