I have had dogs all my life. For several years I fostered dogs in my home. I was the VP of the Young Friends Board of the Humane Society for about 5 years. Currently I volunteer and plan events for The Second Chance Ranch which is a rescue for senior dogs. I have raised both puppies and rescues. I had a Sheltie for 17 years who was deaf, so I am familiar with taking care of the impaired.

Milo was well looked after at Dawn’s place. I received frequent updates and photos which were really appreciated. I also appreciate Dawn’s flexibility when it came to drop off and pock up times.
Our dog Winnie had a great time with Dawn! She was very happy when we picked her up! Dawn sent photos of Winnie while we were away and she looked like she was enjoying herself! I would highly recommend Dawn and plan on using her services again when we take our summer vacation!

Schedule
I do work during the day, so they would be alone during a work day. But every night we would go for a hike or walk, play etc. Drop off and pickup times are usually before 645 am and after 5 pm during the work week.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard as well as a doggie door. I usually take my yellow lab on a walk or hike everyday. I live by quite a few trails. Bailey is 11, and pretty laid back and chill, but a big girl weighing in at 115lbs. She is used to having other dogs around. I also just rescued a 7 year old Sheltie named Rusty, he is shy and keeps to himself, but very sweet and chill.

A typical day
We will go on walks, either around the neighborhood or to one of the many hiking trails around me. Castlewood, Al Foster, Vance Trail. If they like to play with toys, we will throw the ball, or chase sticks, play with stuffies, all depends on what they like
