“Braden and Natalie are so fantastic and easy to work with! Our dog was in loving and care hands the whole day and we’re super thankful of their time.”

“Beyond my expectations. I was nervous at first to leave my dog with a stranger. I’m glad I found Stephanie, I will be using her as my go to dog sitter.”

“Shree was the BEST with our two little dogs! Trixie and Snoops immediately went up to Shree when they met and bonded with her on the spot. I told Shree that it hasn’t happened often, but that both Trixie and Snoops are very good at sensing kindness in people. Within the hour, Shree provided us with photos showing them smiling (yes, our dogs smile) and having fun with her so that we would feel at ease. My husband will have to come back for further treatment at the Mayo Clinic and we definitely plan to ask Shree to care for our babies again. Thanks again, Shree, for loving them and keeping them safe!”

About: I’ve had multiple dogs since I can remember. My parents gave me the responsibility of caring for them when I was young so I am very experienced with feeding, training, and loving them. We went through multiple rounds of puppies and I was responsible for cleaning and caring for them. I currently have one dog (used to 4-5) and she is my first rescue. I’ve had a mix of breeds growing up and love all dogs the same. My dog is the sweetest and has never met a dog she doesn’t get along with. She’s very well trained and I typically walk her off leash because her recall is that good. I’m very thankful I found her and raised her since she was a puppy. I work from home most days. Occasionally I go into the office for half day or full day. If weather permits I leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out on their own. If I leave the house, dogs are either left outside or the back door is propped open so they have access to inside/outside. I have a large backyard with tons of running/playing space for your fur baby. My dog is very excited to have someone to play with! I also have a pool that is fenced off but am happy to leave the gate open if your dog loves to swim and you are comfortable with that. I typically leave the back door open so dogs can go in and out as they please. I have water bowls inside and outside for convenience. The backyard is completely fenced in and the gate to the driveway is heavy and secure so dogs will not get out.

“I felt my pup was in good hands spending the day with Shubhangi & her family. She had a chance to play with there cute young beagle too. I would definitely recommend her, especially if you have dog like mine likes to play!”

About: I have been a dog mom for the past 15 years. My whole life I have loved dogs and feel a deep connection with them. I have experience with caring for dogs through very serious health problems, managing giving pills / ointment / eye drops for my dogs through the years. I also have three small children who I would love to bring to visit and play with any kid - friendly dogs we are pet sitting for! I know first hand what it is like to deeply love our fur babies and would adore watching yours when you are out of town. We just recently lost our older dog Comet so I am more than happy to add a second dog in our house to fill the void - with boarding I would only require that they are kid-friendly and get along with our dog Marley (who is an absolute love and is dying to make more doggie friends since the passing of his brother). I am also open to visiting in your home and bringing small human companions around for extra fun! I am working full time with 3 kids (who attend daycare and school during the week) but can make multiple visits or watch an extra pet in my home. I work 100% from home so I can give your pet a lot of attention during the week as well as on weekends. We treat our fur baby guests like family - any dog we take in will get lots of snuggles from kids as well as adults, multiple daily walks, and a furry friend to play with. If you prefer daily visits, I can do multiple trips to your house to feed / walk / play with your dog(s) while you are away. If kid-friendly, I will bring my 7 year old along with me who is great at running around with friendly dogs, playing fetch and giving snuggles.

“Megan was great and very communicative! I would absolutely use her again. We has a last minute day care request due to us moving and needing to run errands. Megan was very flexible with timing which really made us feel at ease.”

“I needed some daycare help at the last min. Michelle responded instantly and Iroh was at her place in a couple of hours after our first message. She is very kind and loving and took care of him. He returned happy, well fed, and tired playing with her dogs and going to the park with her son. I'll definitely re-use her services and recommend her :) Thanks Michelle!”

“Reeti and her family watched Sparky at their home daily for a week. I dropped sparky off in the morning and Picked him up in the evening and Reeti was annle to accommodate my early morning drop off time. I was worried because Sparky is wary about people outside the family and he became comfortable from the first day he stayed and it was great! Reeti sent photos that eased my mind and took sparky on walks and he now loves Reeti, her husband and children! I booked additional drop off and pick ups with her and now Sparky runs into their house without even looking back at me! He is so happy to be dropped off that I am beyond thankful and grateful for Reeti’s family for taking care of Sparky!”

About: We live in a single family home with a fenced backyard and we have a friendly mini Bernedoodle. Our dog journey began when we dog sat for close friends which led to us getting our own dog as a puppy. We have also helped neighbors with cat sitting. We decided to become Rover dog sitters after having a lot of difficulty finding dog sitters who share our values and who can take good care of our dog. After a positive experience, we decided to do our bit and join the community! We are not doing this as a business so we only accept one dog at a time. We are strong believers in treating animals with love and respect. This means strong environment control, no harsh words, positive reinforcement and giving them the exercise they need. Each pet is unique. During the meet and greet (a must), we will let your dog sniff around off leash in our backyard while learning how we can best take care of them. When they’re comfortable, we will introduce our dog to make sure they can get along. We can accept dogs up to 50lbs. Beyond that, we will evaluate on a case by case basis. Other must-haves on our end to ensure a good experience for your dog: 1. Meet and greet to ensure our dogs can get along 2. Dogs are not allowed to sleep in our bed at night 3. House trained. No male dogs with strong marking tendencies At least one of us will be home full time. We never leave our dog alone so your pet will never be alone. They will have 24/7 care. We have non slip mats in as much of the house as possible so your pet can run around safely. For potty breaks, we have a fenced yard but can also take them on walks 1-2 times a day.

About: My dogs are my children and are treated as such … and so will your dogs be. I have a very large backyard for dogs to play and take my responsibility for pet care extremely seriously. They will never be left alone for more than 8 hours. Happy to administer medication, special dietary requests, and give ample playtime. They will become fast friends with my 2 cocker spaniels. I work Mon-Thurs in Walnut Creek (30 min away) and have flexibility to come home mid-day if need be. Otherwise, I am home and outside playing fetch. There is a pool, which most dogs tend to avoid. But if you have a swimmer, that’s ok too. I have a very large fenced backyard where dogs can play during the day and ample space inside to board dogs in different rooms at night.. I have cameras set up to keep pets monitored at all times. And I am a very meticulous keeper of time and schedules for feeding, medications, etc.

About: I have volunteered at the East County Animal Shelter for 5 years and have a lot of experience petsitting for my family and friends. I am everyone's go to person for petcare. My husband and I work remotely so there is always going to be someone home to supervise the dogs and take care of their needs. I have a fenced in yard and a super sweet 5 year old mutt named Ollie. I take Ollie on two walks and can handle walking 3 dogs at a time. I also have my own crate if your dog needs crate training.
