“Michael is incredible. He took care of both my cats (in our home) and our dog (in his home). I felt absolutely comfortable despite being 3000 miles away. I wish I could give him 7 stars.”

“Stef, as always did an amazing job caring for our pets. She usually watches our energized pup but this time watched our quiet elusive cat. Stef kept up with food, water, litter box and played with our Harper (when she was willing to come out). We also appreciated that she noticed a lamp running too hot and turning it off, or turning on AC for our cat on a hotter day. We always know we can rest easy when Stef is caring for our pets.”

“Mark is excellent with dogs, doesn't over-push but gradually earns their trust. Mark came through for us when we were running out of options to attend a family gathering out of state, and he turned out being the best option for our shy dog. I could tell she became more relaxed as visits went on. It was such a relief to have her in good hands. We will definitely hope to have Mark care for her again!”

“It's such a comfort and reassurance to know Geoff and Jenny are taking excellent care of our two cats when we're away. They're attentive, patient, and can deal with our senior boys' special food and medication needs without issues. I'm so happy we can count on them!”

“Jonny was so sweet and patient with Suki! She is a senior dog so she has very particular eccentricities and needs someone who will give her time and patience and he did just that 😊 10/10 would recommend”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, have one dog and 2 cats of my own now! My babies are my life and i will ensure to take great care of your babies too!! I have experience with administering meds (oral and topical), physical therapy post surgery (my pup had ACL surgery), long walks, and lots cuddles! I will always ensure a safe environment for your fur babies I’m currently not working a 9–5, which means your pet gets my full attention. I have a flexible schedule and can easily work around your needs—whether that’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening cuddle sessions. I’m available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I’m happy to accommodate last-minute requests. If your schedule changes unexpectedly (because life happens!), I can usually adjust on my end to make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. Your pet won’t be “fit into” my schedule—they’ll be my schedule. 🐾 Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’m very comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I make sure every walk is secure—using well-fitted harnesses or leashes, avoiding overly crowded areas, and paying close attention to traffic, weather, and other dogs. I love giving pets the exercise they need—whether that’s a brisk walk, a gentle stroll for seniors, or an energetic game of fetch. Cuddle time and playtime are always included, so your pet feels loved and cared for. I also have a fully fenced yard, perfect for safe, supervised off-leash time if your dog enjoys a good run or game of chase. I’m always outside with them during yard time, making sure they’re happy, healthy, and safe!

About: I have experience with both dogs and cats. I lived with my cousin and her dog for some time so her dog became my adopted dog. I enjoyed taking her on walks, playing with her, and making sure she is happy which made me happy. After some time, I moved out and got a cat. My cat was very playful, had a unique funny and cute character. But unfortunately she got very sick. There were many veterinary visits to take her to, administration of medications and making her last living few weeks as best as possible. I enjoy taking care of pets. I am an animal lover and am passionate about all animals. I currently have a flexible schedule so I can accommodate your pet’s needs. Both mornings and early afternoon work best for Monday through Friday :) I am respectful of my client’s home and treat pets as if they are my own. I am attentive and responsive to pet’s needs. My goal is to make sure your pets are comfortable and happy.

“Wow! My German is scary to most people because his bark is so big, but Brandon handled him like a pro. By day 2, both my boys were excitedly waiting for him at the door.”

“I was grateful for Donna's help sitting for my two cats during a holiday. The cats warmed up to her immediately as did I. She was loving and attentive to their needs, monitoring one of my cats with a finicky stomach and going above and beyond to make sure both were happy and healthy while I was away. I would definitely use her services again.”

“Neil has been excellent so far with our dog Snow. He takes into account that we are overprotective doggie parents and sends us plenty of pictures and updates every time he walks her. He has a lot of patience with her (she's a very hyper puppy). Our minds are at ease when we aren't able to make it home to walk her and he stops in for a visit. We completely trust him with our home and our baby! We are so grateful to have found someone as nice and trustworthy as Neil!”

“Andy was an incredible sitter for our cat, Lincoln. He was highly responsive throughout the entire process, and he provided thorough check-in summaries with pictures, which really helped ease any concerns about our pet while out of town. Lincoln is not always the nicest to newcomers, and Andy did a great job navigating Lincoln’s defensiveness”

About: I worked in a doggy day care for about 1 year. I have always loved dogs/ animals. I love to play with them and make sure they are comfortable. I’m looking for a fun side job for the summer, that will keep me productive, and help pass the time. I will have a lot of free time this summer. I am very loving and open towards animals. Even though im allergic to cats I still play with them because they are just soo cute.

About: I have extensive background in physical training and rehabilitation, working as a music therapist and Canada, and now teaching at a private school Englewood! I can bring a well varied set of skills for you and your pet! I am currently working less over the summer as I am a teacher, and would love to make more animal friends by walking and dog sitting as needed I will be able to provide a play time with the animal, as well as attend to any in all services that the animal would require.

About: NEW TO ROVER? USE PROMO CODE "JENISF92587" FOR A FIRST-TIMER DISCOUNT!! I've been a dog mom for most of my life, including a German shepherd, a Pitbull, and most recently a beautiful little Yorkie. I don't see our fur friends as "pets" but rather, as our "children." Last year I lost my little love-of-my-life/soul-puppy Yorkie after 16 years together. While my heart is not yet ready to bring a new little monster into my life, it is ready to start giving some of this love to your little one(s). I work from home, so your little one will rarely be alone. So if you're looking for someone who'll give lots of love to your babies, then that would be me. I am very experienced with senior care, including providing meds and subcutaneous fluids. I work from home, with a very flexible schedule, so I am always around. I also take walks during the day during my breaks, so going out often with your pup is something I already do. Always ask your sitter how many pets they care for at a time. The more pets they care for, the less attention your pup receives. I care for no more than two pups at a time, so your baby will get lots of attention. I live in a large apartment condo and your pup will have free roam and plenty of walks. I like maintaining a calm, peaceful environment for your pup, so I do not take high-reactivity dogs. To ensure your pup's best care and safety, I only care for dogs that get along with other dogs and I require a meet & greet before final booking. There is a giant field right outside my front door, so there is plenty of room to play outdoors!

“Kelsey is great!! We had to book last minute and Kelsey was so accommodating with working our pup into her schedule! She kept us updated and informed of any issues that came up as well! Would definitely book again!”

About: I am a big cat and dog lover ! I have had cats my whole life and adore both cats and dogs. I will be sure to play with them and any other task! I will make sure to document each visit for your comfort ! I have helped friends with their dogs and enjoy walking and playing with them. I have a flexible schedule! I work part time in health care. I will be happy to meet you and your pet ahead of time. I will be careful upon opening your door. The water dish and food will be cleaned and food refreshed. Your pet will be played with and cared for when you are away.

About: We are a family of animal lovers and caretakers that have had animals ranging from lizards to Dogs to hedgehogs. I am also trained in pet CPR! I currently have left my corporate job to work full time on what I love most, taking care of animals. My family has had pets all our lives and it is what makes us the happiest. We have so much room in our home with a dedicated area for pets. Also we have a big park up the block to play in!

About: I grew up in the Philippines from when I was born till I was 19. And for those years we have always had a dog in the house. Most at one time was 6 dogs. All are trained and well taken care of from the moment they were born or adopted. Giving them their best lives is all that they deserve from us, these furry friends will love us unconditionally. It’s my job to make sure that they feel that same love back. I am currently working part time on a few jobs around the Montclair/Bloomfield area. I plan to return to school for my doctorate but for the mean time caring for pets have always been a love of mine and I will do my very best to make sure your little (or big) buddies get the attention they require. Depending on the breed of dog and their individual energy levels, their playtimes would vary from either indoor activities like tug of war, sensory activities like training their sense of smell with treats, or more outdoor backyard stuff like fetch, making sure all their zoomies are taken outside before they cause a mess inside the house. Making sure that each pet is well stimulated and given and good amount of food and water after tends to get them in a lot calmer mood as the sun begins to dim

About: I have always had animals in my home from a child to my adult years mostly dogs and cats. I am familiar with all ages from new born puppies and kittens to senior Dogs and Cats with special needs. I enjoy all different types of animals and they have always seemed to be comfortable with me. Two dogs with completely different energy levels yet she managed to make it work for them both. No worries that the old one needs to go for slow short walks (Fancy) while (Bam Bam) gives her just that a BAM but when my pups are happy so am I 😁”

“This was the first time I've had to board my dog so I was sooo nervous about finding someone I could trust. A friend recommended Jenise and I know I couldn't have found a better sitter. This is more than just a side gig for Jenise. She really authentically loves dogs. And my Sammy apparently REALLY loves her. Now, if I just say her name, he gets so excited and can't get out the door fast enough. In the video and photo updates she sends, I can see how happy he is.
