About: I’ve taken care of my precious doggies ever since I was 10 years old. Many people have even called me the “dog whisperer” 👀. I have a puppy of my own and we go on long walks by a gorgeous fall by our apartment. In unrelated addition, I have experience with elder dogs so I know how to administer medicine in various sneaky ways. Please me advised that I DO NOT do walks when it’s raining. I work from home so I would be with your pup 24/7 giving theme lots of attention which would probably (definitely) affect my work but who caaaares, puppies are way more important in my life 😭💕. I live in an apartments but has lots of private property space in the back for dogs to run around! My apartment complex is dog friendly so we have a community of dogs that are very friendly and love meeting new friends. I have a puppy that hasn’t turned 1 yet but she is EXTREMELY, CONCERNINGLY friendly (guard dog WHO?) so she would absolutely love to share her space with literally anyyyy dog. About: Pets have always been part of my life. I've had dogs, cats, goldfish, betta fish, hamsters, bunnies, and chinchillas. Currently in my care are the adorable bunny brother-and-sister duo I call the Wonder Twins, a senior Staffie mix who doesn’t like going down the shore so we’re weekend buddies, and Sassafrass, the “fraidy" cat. Since I'm retired, my days have a lot of natural flexibility built in. I can offer morning, midday, and evening visits throughout the week, not just squeezed-in slots around a nine-to-five. Pet care isn't something I fit around my life. It's become one of the things I structure my life around, alongside my own dog, Mojo. All of my care happens in your home, not mine. I come to you for dog walks and feeding visits, so your pet stays in their own familiar space with their own food, bed, and routine. For dogs, that means a walk at their pace around your neighborhood. For cats and smaller pets, it means fresh food and water, litter box or habitat cleaning, and some quiet one-on-one attention. It's so expansive, spacious and very safe, it's like a luxury dog hotel! They are such kind people and really made Peanut feel so welcome and right at home. Over the July 4th weekend, they went above and beyond by sending me adorable photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear Peanut was so happy, comfortable, and receiving lots of love and individual attention. This was without a doubt the best boarding experience I've ever had. “Let me save you some time...if you need a cat sitter and Rita is available, do yourself a favor and just reserve her services. She took care of my cat, Simba, for almost a week, and the whole experience felt like dropping him off at a family member’s that I could trust. Ditto other reviews, Rita’s communication was top notch – pro-actively providing health and status updates and sharing fun pictures/videos at least few times a day. It's very obvious she has a genuine affection for pets. She also exercised a lot of patience approaching and gaining my cat’s trust as he’s very skittish especially in a new environment. Her distinctive ability to read my cat’s body language ensured that Simba was always within his comfort zone (literally the cat whisperer!!) Additionally, her set up’s great with a separate room in her apartment that provided Simba with privacy and alone time that all cats need. Could not recommend her enough for cat sitting!! Gut feel her rates are very fair for the quality of professional service she provides. I’d almost rather drop my cat off with her than family as I can rest easy knowing he’ll be in good hands. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager, I myself have two small dogs at home, a chihuahua mix and a jack Russell terrier, your dog/cat will be well taken care of. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they are my own abiding by your rules and expectations. I’m currently working hybrid I have two days in office and 3 at home, I have two small female dogs, they are spayed and they are dogs friendly. If I’m taking care of your fur baby at my place, he or she will be good taken care of, I can walk them all times necessary and also use training pads if necessary I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if necessary, dogs are free to sleep on the bed if they are spoiled
“Manuel was so kind and accommodating! Not only did he accept my booking request at the last minute because I booked a weekend trip on a Wednesday, but he was also so pleasant and responsive! I can tell that Frankie had a great time and felt right at home. Frankie is a high energy pup and Manuel said that he was happy that he was! (I was worried that he would be annoying!) They played a ton and I received some pictures while I was away. I will definitely be booking Manuel every time I go out of town or need to board Frankie :)”
“I picked up my dog Copper, later last night, after a week’s stay with Desi and Marilyn. I’m not going to lie…I was a little worried about leaving our boy with “strangers”, but when I met D&M, they made me feel at ease after doing our meet and greet. They have a great setup at their house, inside and out, for daytime and overnight “guests”. Desi assured me he was not worried about how any of them would get along and he would introduce Copper slowly. Well, Desi certainly knows what he’s doing (he IS the pack leader) and within a couple of days, Copper was outside playing and running with all of his new doggy friends. They sent videos and/or pictures almost daily, without me asking, and I knew I could msg them right in the app with any concerns. Desi and Marilyn are the real deal. You can tell that this is not just a job for them, but a passion. They are set up and experienced to take on many dogs and still show individual care to each one. When we picked Copper up tonight, he was happy and healthy. What a relief it is to know that I now have a place to bring my dog if/when we decide to go out of town or are helping my ailing mom. If you are looking for a experienced, knowledgeable, safe, fun environment for your doggy, I would not hesitate for a second to bring your fur baby to Desi and Marilyn. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!!”
