“Diana was prompt, responsive and reliable! She was great to work with and I felt so much relief leaving my pets in good hands while I was away. Thank you Diana! Will absolutely rebook soon”

About: My love for and connection with animals runs deep from my farm roots and always having a furry friend to care for growing up. I've always had a soft spot for dogs but love all animals. I provide top notch service, making sure your pet gets the mental and physical stimulation they need and showing love and compassion in my services. I have dealt with all dog ages, trained 3 puppies to adulthood and am experienced with most breeds. I'm currently in graduate school and have a flexible schedule working around class and internships. During the week I have several free days and am open to most weekends. I have a crate if needed and a fenced yard. I can cars for your pet at your home or we can arrange to have it in mine.

About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. I provide a calm, safe and fun environment for pets to play. Provide walks and let pets out regularly. I believe it’s important to attend to all feeding and medication needs as a high priority.

About: Aside from having my own personal dogs in home most of my life I have been volunteering working with and training rescues for 2 years now. Two hours in the Morning, two hours around lunch and all evenings are all free to care for the pets. Walks, fetch and training all available. If dogs are kid and animal friendly I will be able to give them lots of socialization in those environments plus lots of outdoor activity. Have experience working with dogs that don’t interact with other dogs very well.

“Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”

About: I've grown up with dogs all my life. I have sit and walked for friends and family. I don't have a pup off my at the moment, so I love any chance I can get to take care of and play with someone else's for them. I am a full-time employee but have some flexibility due to my hybrid schedule. I am most available after 4PM on weekdays and open on weekends. I'll watch any dog as if they're my own. I'm able to follow any specific instructions when visiting or walking your pup. I want them to feel as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: I've taken care of our family dog since I was nine and helped my older sister on Rover countless times. I have taught my own dog several tricks and take him on walks everyday. I am home from college for the summer and have lots of free time anytime during the week to look after dogs! I am super flexible with times and days. I have a fenced yard and a trained and dog-friendly 2 year old golden doodle named Chewy. Our house has lots of toys, healthy treats, and space for dogs to play!

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences and hands-on experience caring for pets in both shelter and clinical settings. I started my journey working at a local animal shelter, where I cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments. Now, I work at an animal hospital, where I spend my days caring for boarded cats and dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications and handling special feeding protocols. I also understand that not every pet is easygoing, and that’s okay! I’m comfortable working with pets who may be reactive, anxious, or need a little extra patience and care to feel safe and secure. I work from 7:45 AM to 1:30 PM most days and 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Fridays, so I’m available for pet sitting, walks, and visits outside of those hours. Weekend hours may change depending on my work schedule for the week. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet care needs! When caring for your pets in your home, I’ll follow any instructions you provide for feeding, medication, and exercise to ensure they’re getting the care they’re accustomed to. Whether it’s a daily walk, playtime, or snuggles on the couch, I make sure to create a comfortable and safe environment for your pet. I’m also always mindful of the spaces I am in and am more than happy to clean up any messes made! If there are any special needs or behavioral concerns, I’m happy to work with them to ensure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you're away.

About: I've worked for a dog walking company, wrangled ferrets, and outsmarted wily cats. With nearly a decade of pet sitting experience I'm ready for just about anything your furry friend can throw at me. I'm adept at problem solving and can meet your pet where they need me to be. I have experience administering medication and coaxing the anxious and stubborn out of their shells. I am free most days in the morning and the afternoon if you need a walker quickly. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work with clients to meet their needs. I will follow any instructions clients give for how much freedom they want their pets to have. I usually like to keep them in sight or in an enclosed area like a fenced in yard when not out on a walk. I like playing and keeping them entertained or sitting quietly together if they're tired. It mostly depends on the energy levels and temperament of each individual.

“I needed a dog sitter on barely a moment’s notice before heading out of the country, and I feel so lucky to have found Jillian who could help in Lake Bluff where I left the pups wirh family. I live in downtown Chicago and have two dogs with very different needs—one is a 13-year-old who’s anxious and can’t be kenneled, and the other is a high-energy 2-year-old black lab mix. I rarely travel and almost never leave my dogs with anyone else, so I was nervous about the whole arrangement. Jillian immediately put me at ease. She not only adapted quickly to the situation but went above and beyond—taking both dogs on long walks (even in unpleasant weather!) and being incredibly mindful of their individual temperaments. She also worked seamlessly with my mother-in-law, who was hosting the dogs at her house but isn’t able to walk them for extended periods. Jillian was reliable, kind, and clearly very experienced. I truly can’t recommend her enough and fully plan to work with her again.”

“Brooklyn is amazing with pets! She has watched my dog Moose multiple times and I can always trust that my dog will be in the best of care. Moose absolutely loves Brooklyn and is always sad to watch her go. Not only does she stay on top of everything, she goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is well taken care of. She takes him on plenty of walks, plays with him, works on training skills, and so much more. I will continue to have Brooklyn watch my dog because she’s the best of the best!”
