“Jamie was such a rockstar! We had a last minute change of plans around kitten care that meant we were looking for help the day before our trip. Jaimie swooped in like a hero and saved the day. He was friendly, communicative, thorough, and sent us dozens of photos of our happy kittens during his visits. I also really love that he sent a photo of their food bowl and empty litter box each visit as well. When we returned it was to happy, healthy kittens, and everything in the house as it should be. We couldn't have been more thrilled.”
“Abby took great care of my cat Lewis. She sent pictures after every check in, which gave me so much comfort seeing he was okay while I was gone. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Elyse, a third-year law student with a flexible schedule this semester and plenty of time to spend caring for your pets. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or simply keeping your furry friend company while I study, I’m happy to provide attentive, loving care tailored to their needs. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Today, I have both a dog and a cat of my own, giving me experience with pets of different personalities, routines, and care needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were part of my own family. I know every pet is unique, and I love getting to know their individual personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and loves adventure or prefers quiet cuddles on the couch, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! As a third-year law student, I have a very flexible schedule this semester that allows me to provide reliable, attentive pet care. I don’t have classes on Mondays or Fridays, making long weekends and extended stays easy to accommodate. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, my classes are only in the afternoon and evening, leaving my mornings and much of the day open for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and companionship. Because my schedule is so flexible, I’m able to tailor my availability to each pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether your pet thrives on a consistent schedule, needs extra potty breaks, medication, exercise, or simply enjoys having someone nearby, I’m happy to adapt my day to ensure they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve. I believe pets are happiest when they’re able to stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their familiar environment, where they feel safe, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and preferences so I can provide care that is tailored specifically to them. Whether that means sticking to a regular walking schedule, engaging in playtime, giving medication, or simply spending quality time cuddling on the couch, I am committed to making your pet feel loved and cared for. My goal is to give every pet plenty of individual attention. I don’t just stop by to complete a checklist. I want to spend meaningful time with each animal so they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for until you return home.
“Chloe was great. Took good care of my two cats - communicative, hung out with them for a bit, sent pictures, and was very punctual. Which I appreciated greatly as one of the cats needs meds 2x a day.”

About: I have experience in walking dogs, and house sitting. I have stayed with cats as well. I used to be a doggy daycare attendant! My responsibilities included: feeding animals on a regular schedule, walking them on a schedule, giving them medication, and giving them play time and attention. As an animal lover I know that pets need more than just food and water. They need love and affection too! Count on me to give it my all to your pets. :) I am currently employed part time, and am looking to make extra cash and to connect with pets since I don’t have any of my own. (Yet!) I would have to have an early heads up of when you’d need me, because I get my work schedule weekly. I apologize, but I am unable to provide at home services. I will do all that is necessary to love and take care of your pet.
“Lauryn has been great to work with and she shows a genuine love for my sons Mini Ausie Shepherd. We will continue to utilized Lauryn through March. I very highly recommend her”

I have a privacy fenced yard and have a crate if needed . Also if your dog knows how to use a doggy doorbell we have one !
“Thank you for checking on our old girl. She was glad for the midday break and to be spared the holiday noise of extended family, new puppies and little kids. We loved the photos and we appreciate you giving Mae her pills.”

“Jennifer did a great job taking care of my cat. I was out of town for a few days and needed someone to check in on my cat while I was gone. Jennifer was quick with her communications, friendly, caring, and easy to work with. I'm very happy with the experience and would definitely ask her to look after my cat again!”

“Misty took wonderful care of our boy while we were gone! Lots of attention, pets and walks. Provided lots of pictures and updates. Very trustworthy, we knew our pup was in good hands. Hopefully she can take care of him again next time we are in need!”

“Allison gets 10 stars out of 5!! This was our first time using Rover and we couldn't be happier with Allison and the job she did with our 7 year old dog. She stopped by on two separate occasions prior to our trip to get acquainted with our dog. She was super diligent and on time for every visit. She communicated very well and provided ample updates and pictures. We’re lucky to have found her and will use her again.”

About: I have taken care of young and old dogs for neighbors, friends, and family members since I was 16. I am always sure to take them on plenty of walks, tend to their nutritional needs, and spoil them with attention. Leave me an overview of expectations/directions and your home and furry friends will be in great hands! Disclaimer: I also work a full-time job. I work in Physical Therapy but my mornings and evenings are free and I will give your pets full care and attention before and after work, including overnight stays! If my Rover schedule is free, book me! Morning bathroom break Morning breakfast Evening walk depending on the weather Evening dinner Hangout and play at night -- I can accommodate most routines you may have your pets on throughout the day!
About: Hi, I’m Julia! With 6+ years of pet care experience—including two years at a dog daycare and training my own dog from puppyhood—I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, and any dog in between. I’m certified in both Pet CPR and Pet First Aid, and I will always tailor my care to your dog’s personality and routine. Whether that means stopping to smell every tree on a walk, respecting their space, or playing fetch until they’re happily worn out, your dog’s comfort comes first. Photo updates (and pup cups) are always included! I work part-time (often in the evenings) and have a flexible schedule with several days off per week, giving me plenty of time for walks, drop-in visits, and daytime care! My schedule allows me to be consistent and reliable for your pup. I’m currently fully booked for overnight stays and boarding through the rest of the summer, but I’m happy to help with daytime services in the meantime. I step into your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure when I’m around. I provide calm, in-home care that matches their energy. We’ll play if they’re feeling active, take it slow when they’re not—I will always follow their comfort level! During overnight stays, I stick closely to your pup’s routine and make sure they’re comfortable throughout my visit. I always clean and tidy before leaving, so you come home to both a well cared-for space and dog.
“Kaitlyn has been wonderful!! My dog, Wilson, is prone to anxiety and shyness and she was always so gentle and attentive with him. She understood his needs and took the time to get to know him and make him feel more at ease. It means a lot to have someone who’s willing to work with him where he’s at. She’s consistent, punctual, and an honest and diligent person. She took good care of my shy guy when I wasn’t able to be home at a decent time. Definitely a wholehearted recommendation for Kaitlyn!!!”

“Reba went above and beyond to take care of my kitty over the holidays. She sent photos and updates every day, and I felt totally at ease while I was away knowing my cat was in such good hands. I couldn't recommend Reba more highly and look forward to booking her again!”

“Jasmine was amazing. My pups were takin care of extremely well. I felt very comfortable after we had our meet and greet. I will definitely be using her in the future.”

Cyndi is wonderful with our dog, Sherman and loved on our kitties as well. She was great at communicating, sending pictures and keeping us updated on how he was doing while we were away. We highly recommend Cyndi and will continue to book with her as long as we can. Thank you again, Cyndi!

Brooke was an amazing Rover sitter! She took excellent care of Bessie and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Bessie was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of love and attention. Brooke was reliable, communicative, and treated Bessie like one of her own. We came home to a happy, relaxed Bessie, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely book with Brooke again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dependable pet sitter!

Lillian was GREAT!!!! She was there on short notice and able to change her schedule to accommodate watching my pup! Anytime I needed to reach out she responded very quickly and kept me updated as well. Willow loves walks and attention and she got all of it def will use Lillian again for my baby.

Diane went above and beyond to make certain my Sheltie and Ragdoll cat were well taken care of, loved and happy. I especially enjoyed the pics of Charlie she would send twice a day. I know now who to request when I need someone to care for them again. Thanks Diane!

Emily was fantastic! We have 1 very reactive dog so it is a bit of a challenge to get her acclimated to new people. Emily had such a calming presence and was so patient with our dog. She communicated very well and followed all instructions. We have already booked Emily for more trips and visits.

Olivia was an excellent sitter for our anxious pup, Tuck. She provided frequent updates and pics and I felt that she respected our home and animals. Tuck gave her 4 paws up (as did the kitties who surprisingly came to interact with her). We will definitely rebook with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
