“Things fell through with my previous sitter (that wasn’t from Rover). I reached out to Kaity last minute, as I was scrambling to find someone to watch my chihuahua. She came within 1.5 hours of contacting her to do a meet and greet with Bailey since is weary of strangers from a traumatic past. She even moved around some her schedule to accommodate us. He was reserved at first, but quickly warmed up to Kaity. On day 2, he was already waiting at the door for her and greeting her with toys and kisses. I get cute pictures and a little summary of how their time together went. I would definitely recommend Kaity to anyone and I have her on weekly repeat visits. We are happy!”

About: I've grown up with many different types of dogs. I learned at a young age the importance of walks, exercise, how to love and care for dogs of all ages and sizes. I have dog-sat for multiple families in the past, sometimes up to a week, and end up creating life-long bonds with each 4-legged friend! I currently work remotely, making my own schedule apart from an in-person part-time job that is about 14 hours a week. My availability: Mondays all day, Tuesdays after 5, Wednesdays after 1, Thursdays after 5, Fridays after 1, Saturdays all day, Sundays between 12 and 4. (Starting in June I will be available pretty much all day everyday!) I have two cats and rent, so care would need to be at your home, which I am comfortable with. I am trustworthy and dependable and will have eyes on your furry friend at all times!

About: My parents always had animals growing up. My dad especially always taught me to have compassion for every creature, going as far as bring any stray animal home so they had a warm place to sleep for however long they wanted to stay. I currently work part time, Monday-Friday 9am-3pm So I have time during the evenings on weekdays and time on the weekends as well! I’ve loved animals my whole life so spending as much time as I can with them makes my day. I am very good at being patient with animals, I am used to shy or nervous animals and going at their pace. I am also no stranger to very friendly animals as well, I am good at matching their energies.

Prior to that, I spent several weeks caring for three very unique and adorable dogs, each with their own quirks, routines, and favorite spots. I've cared for anxious rescues, senior pets with special needs, high-energy youngsters, and adorably leisurely couch potatoes. I intentionally adapt my approach to what each animal needs and wants most. When Misty cares for my girls, it's like I know they're going to get pampered while I'm away. She brushes them, walks them and of course loves on them and gives them their favorite treats. She gives both of them their meds daily and doesn't mind that our dogs eat three different foods at a meal. She has even worked me into her schedule while she has had other check ins to do. “Kyra went so far above and beyond while caring for our 6-year-old black Lab mix and three cats (Ruca, Hala, and Dahlia). We left her with detailed instructions and some quirks — a big dog who gets a bit too excited around others, cats with different personalities and a special eye condition, litter box maintenance, etc. She handled everything perfectly. While we were away, our apartment complex had a sewer backup (every pet sitter’s nightmare). Kyra didn’t just call us — she jumped in, cleaned what she safely could with her own supplies, kept us updated the entire time, and made sure our pets were safe and comfortable. About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. I am extremely attentive with any dogs that I take care of. I will provide sitting with care and attention and make sure your dog is safe and taken care of.
