About: I have been dog-sitting since I was a teenager for family and friends, and I have grown up with pets for most of my life. I have experience with walks, overnight stays, week-long stays, allergies, and special diet/medication needs. My parents also have a boxer who tends to have lots of scabs and other skin-related ailments so bandages and first aid are common in my house. I’m a freelancer so my schedule varies week by week. My schedule during the weekdays can get pretty full with my regulars and main job. However, I’m always happy to add another furry friend to the calendar! Safety is always my highest priority for any job. I am willing to do what you consider the safest and most comfortable for you and your pet(s). I also want you and your pet(s) to be comfortable when I'm caring for them. A happy dog is the best dog!
“Frances has been so flexible and helpful with Choco and I’s change to an apartment lifestyle! Choco was very energtic and happy when I got home because of his mid day walk. I am soooo grateful to have Frances available to provide that for him!”

“My dogs love Christi! She has a super positive attitude and lots of availability. She takes the time to take great pictures while on the walk. She definitely puts my dogs to work because they're much less antsy when I come from home from work after she's walked them”

“Just love Stephanie! She helped me out today with something unexpected that I needed done while she was at my house. I can also tell my dogs miss her if there is a break of any kind between their visits 😊🐶🐶”

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. I, like many of you, consider them family members. I have pet sit and cared for family and friends pets all throughout the years. They will become a part of my family as well. I have a very open schedule that I am fortunate enough to be able to make any times work and know the need that us pet parents need for that. My three dogs and two cats are my world. I think about them all the time and make my home their castle. I intend to do the same for your furbaby.
About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. I have experience with everything from dogs, to cats, to lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, rats, etc. There has never been a moment I have been without an animal in my life. Currently, I have two dogs, Karma and Panda. Aside from my own animals, I actively volunteer at the shelters around me, which is where I adopted both of my dogs. I love animals unconditionally, no matter what kind. I am able to walk, feed, watch, petsit, groom, play or anything else that may be needed for them. Size and age is not an issue for me. I have worked at dog daycare, pet sat for many and have some experience in grooming. I am part time at the YMCA from M-TH 4 pm - 7 pm. Other than that, I am available to take care of animals as needed. I have a fenced in yard, and an energetic dog to keep your fur babies entertained! I am able to fulfill any needs for your pets safety.

Beyond the basics, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while I’m with them. I enjoy getting to know their personalities, keeping them happy and engaged, and making sure they feel at ease so pet owners can trust their pets are in good hands. About: I grew up having dogs, so I have a lot of experience taking care of them and walking them. I also have experience petsitting cats. With lots of petsits completed, I bring a wealth of experience to every booking. I have been actively petsitting since early 2023, and my first housesit was in 2016. I have a genuine passion for caring for a wide variety of pets—from dogs and cats to wonderful companions like birds, fish, or other small animals. I balance my time to provide the best possible care for your pets. I typically require a window of 4-5 hours per day to work uber/doordash/etc and I coordinate my schedule to ensure your pets are well-cared for. I am also available for constant care (being out no more than 2 hours per day) for a higher rate. *Please note that due to sanitary concerns and the potential for sleep disruption, I am not able to have pets sleep in the same bed as me. It's totally fine if they sleep in the same room as me in their own separate bed, but if it's required that they sleep in the same bed as me, then we are not a good fit. * To ensure a seamless experience, I kindly ask that all pets in your home are included in the booking details. This helps me tailor my care and pricing to fit all of your pets’ needs accordingly. Please be upfront before booking of the expected schedule/routine of your pet(s). While I have experience administering medication to pets, I am not comfortable performing injections or administering oral medication directly into a pet’s mouth via syringe (pilling and mixing liquid meds into food are fine). When you book with me, you can expect a completely positive experience. I provide a petsitter info form to gather all the specific details on medications, meals, routines, and more. This helps ensure that your pet's routine is followed closely, giving you peace of mind. I am available for petsitting in the St. Louis metro area, and my travels have also allowed me to also meet wonderful owners and pets in Arkansas, Arizona, Tennessee, Virginia and California! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! My services are designed to fit seamlessly into both your pet's routine and my professional life. My priority is always your pet’s safety and well-being. * **Standard Overnight Stays & Drop-In Visits:** I am available for in-home overnight stays, drop-in visits, and walks. For my standard overnight pet sitting rate, I require a window of 4-5 hours per day to go out most days to work uber/doordash. I am always mindful of your pet's needs and provide regular updates. If your pet requires constant care, I am available at a higher rate. This service ensures I am at the home 22-24 hours out of the day. Due to sanitary concerns, I am not able to have pets sleep in the same bed with me. However, I am more than happy to have them sleep in a separate bed or other arrangement within the same room. I encourage you to book well in advance, as my schedule fills up quickly. I don't have pets over at my home. I prefer to have clear instructions of expectations typed or written out. I have a petsitter form that I can share. I want to do an excellent job so clear communication of expectations is important. From my petsitting experience, I follow the instructions and protocol each pet owner gives me. This includes use of a doggy door if available, best walking practices, making sure pets don't run out when entering/exiting, feeding routines, etc.
About: I can be very patient with your pet, as I needed to learn it from my own dog. My dog suffers separation anxiety and I am still training him. Some weeks I am working from home and I can take care of your pet. In the meantime your pet can also play with mine and I will take them potty together. Also I can be some weekends with your pet. I will give them their own space in the house and I will also feed them separately to avoid any issue fight because of the food.
About: Hello there! My name is Kelsey and I have been taking care of pets since I was 13 years old. I’m a mom to both a tiny human and 7 animals! I have two dogs, two cats, two horses and one foster dog. I achieved my Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and Masters of Science from Murray State University in 2017 and 2019. I have been a Registered Veterinary Technologist since 2017. I have worked emergency and critical care medicine; I am currently at a general practice veterinary hospital. I am particularly experienced with medication administration and fearful animals. I am extremely passionate about pet care and hope to offer you the comfort in knowing my years of experience in the veterinary field will allow for me to accommodate and care for all your pet’s needs! Currently I am working full time at a veterinary hospital. I am flexible during the week, but have most availability on Wednesdays and weekends. Stopping in to let pets out for potty breaks during my lunch hour is an option during the week. Dropping in mornings and evenings before and after work is a possibility as well. I am flexible with scheduling when given enough notice. I have a fenced yard and space for a kennel if that is what your pet prefers. I have baby gates around the house to keep spaces blocked off if your pet needs their own space to decompress. I will respect the rules and routine of your pets in your homes. I prefer to keep their routine as normal as possible in your absence.
Mehlville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Katie was an absolute dream to work with! She took care of my dog Calypso as if she were her own, and I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. From the moment we met, Katie was warm, responsible, and clearly passionate about animals. Calypso instantly felt comfortable with her, which put my mind completely at ease. Throughout the stay, Katie kept me updated with sweet photos and little notes about how Calypso was doing. It was obvious she was getting tons of love, attention, and playtime. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your fur baby, Katie is the one. She’s dependable, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond. I’d book her again in a heartbeat—and so would Calypso!
