About: Professionally I have pet care experience for 4 years. I worked at a Pet Resort in the boarding department! I feed them, give them medications (including shots), walk them, play with them, and much more! I have 2 dogs of my own that I take care of. I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember, it’s my passion! :) For me pet care is not a chore or something I have to do, it’s so enjoyable for me! I am currently on break so have an open schedule! I will give your fur baby so much love and cuddles! I will play with them and walk them if needed! About: We are both former English teachers who have nothing to do now that we’re retired. What better way to spend our time than to help you with your pets. We've had pets our whole lives. We're available to drop in and care for your pets. Our inspiration is our own experience with finding someone to care for our animals during vacations, obligations, etc. As teachers, we were trusted in the classroom for 30 years each. About: Welcome! We are a passionate, animal-loving mother-daughter team ready to give your pets the royal treatment. My lifelong love for animals started with my childhood beagles, followed by a schnauzer, and has grown to include four dogs of my own, a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, and numerous fish! We are starting this venture this summer to help my daughter build her skills and chase her lifelong dream. Ever since she was 4 years old, she has wanted to be a veterinarian—she even has a master plan to build a vet practice and a petting zoo on the exact same property! My daughter and I are home almost all day, allowing us to provide frequent potty breaks, constant supervision, and plenty of playtime. Whether your dog needs a structured routine, midday walks, or just lots of couch cuddles and companionship, we have the flexibility to match their exact needs. Once school starts back up in August, we will transition to evening and weekend care, but for the summer, your pup will get our full, undivided attention! Because our own dog prefers to be an 'only child' and a single-sibling fur baby, we exclusively offer care in your home! When you trust us with your pets, my daughter and I will treat your home with the utmost respect, exactly as if it were our own. For House Sitting, we adapt entirely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. This includes their regular feeding schedule, medication administration if needed, and plenty of play and cuddle time. For Drop-In Visits or Walks, we ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh water, potty breaks, and of course, lots of love. We also always make sure your home is secure before we leave and will send you plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun we are having!

About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. I look forward to chatting with you over the phone, internet, or in person! Also, I have a sweet little Mitten cat (her name is Mittens). She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.

About: I'm a caring person who will pay attention to your pet's needs and spend time with them. I had a dog for 6 years before she passed away. She was a German Shepard chow who loved going on walks in the park. I love being outdoors, whether for business or personal health, Disney, and cooking. I follow instructions to a T and will protect your pet at all costs! When house sitting, I always treat the house better than I would treat my home. I clean up after myself, and will provide my own food as I care for your home and pet. I am willing to stay at your house 24/7, while you're away, if you desire it. You will not be disappointed with me as your sitter! My schedule is rather open and quite flexible. I can provide care to cover all your needs; be it a short walk or days to weeks for your vacation! I double-check all doors in my client's homes throughout my stay. I've had no pet break-outs or escapes yet and I will keep it that way. I make sure to keep all human foods out of reach to pets and clean up all my trash. No one is eating trash on my watch

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I can play with them, pick up after them, bathe them and make sure they’re happy and well fed. And I can take the dog on short or long walks and make sure they’re happy and safe. Also for house sitting I’ll make sure the house is clean and any messes the dog makes is cleaned up as well I’m a student at an online university, but I am taking a break from perusing my BS in forensic accounting. So I have plenty of time to watch your pets. I have two dogs that I take care of with my family. And they are well cared for and I play with them throughout the day and feed them when they need to be fed.

About: I’ve taken care and been around cats and dogs since I was a child. I understand our fur babies require play time and so much love! I am currently actively applying to jobs as a social worker, and have a lot of free time throughout my days as I am staying home with my fur babies while I do so! I take my doggies on a walk, take treats with me and poop bags to ensure they get rewarded for being good babies and cleaning up after them. If we’re going to a park, I make sure they have toys, water and get their sniffs in!

About: Hello STL pet parents! I am new to Rover but I've taken care of all ages, sizes, and various breeds of dogs since I was young, ranging from Chihuahuas to 110 lb Bouviers. My husband (former dog trainer) and I are the proud dog parents of two friendly rescue chihuahua mixes and we take them everywhere with us when we can and consider them to be our family. We have also had the privilege of caring for a rescue pittie who was skittish around other dogs at first, and a pug lab mix who never met a stranger. I nursed one of my current rescues through heartworm treatment after first adopting her and saw our pug lab mix through chemo when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. I take the care and love of dogs very seriously and believe we owe them the utmost respect. It would be my honor to apply that same philosophy of care and compassion (and fun!) with your beloved family member. I can be available any day of the week, though I prefer notice for weekends. Overall however I can be flexible! If the service is a walk I would prefer that to take place before 6:30 p.m. My yard is fenced in with a privacy fence and if I let dogs into the yard I am always out there with them the entire time. I have two small dogs who are friendly and enjoy gentle playing with others. I'm also comfortable visiting in your home or taking your doggo out on an adventure.
