About: I have regularly fostered dogs for the past five years and have worked with over 75 dogs and counting. I have so loved this experience meeting new friends of all breeds, needs, shapes and sizes and would love to meet your pup as well! I have even had the experience and privilege of taking puppies numerous times to the nursing home to meet with residents there, bringing with them their puppy joy and cheer. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help! Our family follows the school schedule during the week day, leaving at 8:15 and arriving home around 3:30pm. If needed, I can allow for one bathroom break mid day. There is a room officially dedicated in our house to the animals that I watch and foster. They would have this room all to themselves for when they come stay (no need to share with other pets!). There are pee pads and litter boxes also available if needed. Please see pictures of the room located under the sitter profile. I also have a crate available and an x pen if your furry friend prefers that. I have a fenced in front and back yard that has been visited and approved by the Humane Society.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. I am very quick to respond to messages!

“My dog Taku and I relocated here from Michigan recently. We have no family or friends here in Illinois. I was so stressed and anxious on what I will do with Taku while I’m at work or a long day or long weekend. Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! About: I've been an animal lover my entire life and have cared for everything from reptiles to rodents to larger 4-legged creatures. I spontaneously rescued a dog 20 years ago which ended up being one of the best decisions of my life. I spent 15 years with my little buddy exploring trails, taking car rides, lazily cuddling on the couch and having lots of one-way conversations. He unfortunately passed away a happy old man but during that time, taught me patience, dedication, playfulness and gave me a special appreciation for dogs. I have vast experience being around a variety of dogs of all shapes, sizes and personality types. I overall just enjoy being around dogs and caring for them (I'm definitely that guy asking strangers if I can pet their dog ). I look forward to sitting your animals and providing you a great service if we match. I work from home in an office setting during the week so I would be around the house most of the time to keep tabs on things and for backyard potty breaks (have a fenced in backyard). During the week, I would be available before 8:00am, during my lunch break and after 4:30pm for walks or to stop by your house for check-ins. On weekends, I am not working so I would be available all day. I live next to Tower Grove Park and enjoying spending time outside or walking in the park. I have a cozy home with a small fenced-in backyard that is perfect for small to medium sized dogs. My house is tidy, quiet and currently don’t have any pets, so my home is perfect dogs who prefer that kind of environment. I generally don’t need to leave the house too often so your pet would be hanging with me most of the time. When boarding, I am able to provide two 20 minute walks per day and as many backyard potty breaks as they need.
About: Hi! My name is Darius and I truly love being around animals. I don't have any right now, but I've had pets almost my entire life including a yorkie, two pomeranians, three cocker spaniels, a foster kitten, and a German shepherd. I used to live with two adult cats, but my ex got them in the breakup sadly. Fortunately, I've got another friend with older cats that lets me check on them when she's away. More recently, I've been the go-to pet sitter for my friends because I have a big house with a fenced in yard and a lot of squirrels to yap at. Long story short, I just want your baby to feel loved and taken care of while they're away from home. I'll be with them most of the day because I typically work from home. As long as they don't mind chilling around the house, walking around my beautiful neighborhood, or chiming in on the occasional business call, we'll get along great. Like I mentioned, 99% of the time I work from home M-F. I might occasionally go into the office but only for a 2-4 hours max. Three days a week I go to the gym for an hour but for the most part I'll be working, chilling at the house, or outside exploring the neighborhood with my new furry friend. I like to curate a calm, peaceful environment that's full of love for your pet to feel relaxed and at ease during their stay.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. In high school, I was the one people called to watch their pets when out of town. At 18, I got my first non family dog and self trained her for the AKC good citizen test. At that point I became the friend everyone called to help train their dogs. I have fostered bottle babies all the way to senior animals with complex medical needs. I also have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs. I am also experienced in dispensing medication. My current dog has a spinal condition and gets medication twice daily. My soul dog was in palliative care for the last five months of her life and I learned a lot about basic canine first aid. My current dog has traveled with me extensively. He’s been to 13 states and roadtrips with me through Mexico. I think there is a care plan for every animal. I look forward to treating your pet like they are part of the family. I work full time from home, but have a very flexible daytime schedule. I am able to take breaks as often as needed with no issue. I currently walk my dog at 5am and 10pm to avoid daytime heat and give him bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I learned a long time ago that routine is best for most pets. My dog does for two 45 minute walks a day, and meals twice a day. When hosting another pup, your pups schedule will be continued. Even if it’s different from my dogs. They will be fed and crated separately. If your dog is less social I have plenty of space to keep the pups separate, if needed. When dog sitting in your home, my dog will head to do board and train lessons or stay with a friend. My routine will shift to match what your dog is used to.

About: Empathetic and caring towards pets. My first pet was a fish, named Cogi. Since then I've had a gerbil, dog (bichon frise) named Casso, and now have two cats (littermates - part maine coon - Sage & Chowder). I have enjoyed times when I volunteered with child care and senior care facilities in the past as well. Always enjoy spending time with and connecting with pets. Rarely if ever meet any pet I have difficulty connecting with. I'm currently self employed, studying for MO real estate exam & license, and often engaged in other opportunities on the side as well. However, despite my busy schedule at times, I am quite proficient at juggling tasks, maintaining physical & mental health, eating healthy, exercising when possible, and still prioritizing pet care in the midst of it all! I can bring toys, treats, food, litter or anything needed, but am not currently boarding pets at my residence. I will do everything I can to make your pet(s) feel comfortable, clean up after myself and any pet(s), and keep you informed of anything out of the normal.
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, especially Boston Terriers, so being around them has always been second nature to me. While I was in college, I lived with an Aussiedoodle, which gave me experience caring for a high-energy, intelligent breed as well. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and can guarantee they'll get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while they're in my care. My current dog has Crohn's disease and struggles with anxiety, so I'm very comfortable caring for dogs with special needs, administering extra attention, and following specific care routines. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I regularly dog sit and house sit for family and friends. I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands, and I always treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently have a dog of my own, so I'm already used to feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for pets every day. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to stay at your home full-time if needed and let your dog out frequently for potty breaks, exercise, and playtime. I understand that every pet has a different routine, and I'm committed to following their schedule to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. For overnight stays, I focus on keeping your pet's routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I stay in your home so your pet can remain in a familiar environment, which helps them feel comfortable while you're away. I follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take them outside for potty breaks as often as needed, and make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. If your pet has any medications or special care instructions, I'm happy to follow those as well. I'll also keep your home clean and respect it as if it were my own, and I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: Hi! I’m a St. Louis Zoo keeper and love all animals! When I’m not working at the zoo, I love spending time taking care of other animals! I work full time, but have lot of time after work and on my weekends! My weekends fall on tuesdays and wednesday, but have lot of time when I’m off! I am very versatile because of having so much experience with animals! Whether it’s tricky medication or puppy energy, I have lot of experience doing it all!

About: I have regularly fostered dogs for the past five years and have worked with over 75 dogs and counting. I have so loved this experience meeting new friends of all breeds, needs, shapes and sizes and would love to meet your pup as well! I have even had the experience and privilege of taking puppies numerous times to the nursing home to meet with residents there, bringing with them their puppy joy and cheer. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help! Our family follows the school schedule during the week day, leaving at 8:15 and arriving home around 3:30pm. If needed, I can allow for one bathroom break mid day. There is a room officially dedicated in our house to the animals that I watch and foster. They would have this room all to themselves for when they come stay (no need to share with other pets!). There are pee pads and litter boxes also available if needed. Please see pictures of the room located under the sitter profile. I also have a crate available and an x pen if your furry friend prefers that. I have a fenced in front and back yard that has been visited and approved by the Humane Society.

She took the time to do a meet-and-greet first and carefully introduced Soup to each of her dogs, which made me feel so comfortable leaving him with her. Emily’s dogs are all such sweet babies and very well behaved. 🥰 Soup absolutely LOVED being with them! From all the pictures and updates Emily sent us, we could tell he was having a blast. Honestly, I think he was living his best life there 😂❤️ He had so much fun playing and spending time with his new friends. What I appreciate most about Emily is that she doesn’t just “watch” your dog — she genuinely cares for them like one of her own. She texted us an update as to how they were adjusting which helped us to feel more comfortable with the idea of leaving them with her for an extended period. We also appreciated Sascha's flexibility when we asked if we could change our drop off and pick up times. We're relieved to find her as a long-term sitter next month.”
