About: I’ve always loved dogs, whether they were mine or those of friends. I’ve had dogs for many years, and they have been my best buddies! I adopted Stanley last September from Have a Heart Rescue. Stanley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He is only 17 pounds and full of energy and loads of love. He enjoys “walking” other dogs if he can get ahold of their leashes and loves to do zoomies in the yard and play tag with other dogs. As he is a small pup, I would prefer to only watch dogs up to 40 pounds and must be socialized with other dogs and people. As I am retired now, I would love to start dog sitting in my home and would be open to doggy daycare. I am rarely away from the house for more than two hours at a time. I have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. Dogs have always been allowed on the chairs, sofas and on the bed. Who wants to sleep on the floor? I have been unofficially dog sitting for almost 40 years, and have recently started dog sitting for pay. I believe it is a good idea for the dogs and owners to have a meet-and-greet as it’s a great way to make sure we’re all a good fit and gives us the opportunity to meet and talk about our expectations. As a dog owner, I know how difficult it can be to be away from your little buddies, so I’m here to make that separation as easy as possible. When your pup stays with me, I’m always happy to send photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away rest assured that your pup is happy and healthy, and to see just how much fun we’re having. About: We've had dogs in our lives since we were small children. We currently have an older beagle mix who sleeps a lot and a Rough Collie who basically runs the house. We have a large fenced backyard with a dog door and after work, we take our pups walking on Grant's Trail or just around our neighborhood every day. I return from work between 3pm and 3:30pm every day. I take the dogs for a walk on Grant's Trail on most non-rainy days around 4pm. On weekends, I'm around most of the day and take walks as well. We have a fenced backyard and a dog door. Our Rough Collie loves to lay outside in the sun during the day while we're at work and watch people walk by. Our other dog sleeps most of the time.
About: I've spent much of my life living with and caring for dogs--from growing up with dogs throughout childhood, to helping care for dogs as an adult, to having Spencer, my most recent dog. I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with sidewalks and no through traffic, just ten houses from Sublette Park. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

About: We’ve loved meeting all kinds of dogs through Rover, whatever breed or size, and we’d love to spend time getting to know your furry friend through walks, cuddles, and just being together! We’ve had several dogs over the years from an 11 lbs. Schnoodle to an 80 lbs. GSP to now Oliver, a 50lb. mix of many breeds. (However, he can go two-doors down to my father-in-law‘s house if our furry friends don’t get along.) We hope to meet you soon. Amy currently works mostly from home with a very flexible schedule. We get up around 6AM in the morning and stay up until about 10PM. We’d love to get steps in by taking your pet for a walk! Carl also often stops home throughout the day.
