About: i’ve been taking care of friends, family, and neighbors fur babies for the past nine years of my life, and I absolutely love every single one of them. I love all of them all sizes and breeds it does not matter to me. I worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility for five years. I also have previous training experience working with young puppies so i’m able to work with them as well. :) I’m working currently part-time and only have classes a couple days a week for an hour. I’m very flexible and available on an as needed basis for you and your fur babies! Safety is my number one priority. I will never put your fur babies in harms way or put them in uncomfortable situations. I treat each pup as if they were my own. I’m very big on schedules/routine. If you have one you’d like to stick to, I will happily oblige.
About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was a child. From multiple pet households to livestock to exotic and unique animals, it would be easier to ask what I haven't cared for in my lifetime. Being a pet mother myself, I understand the concerns owners have when it comes to the care and comfort we desire for our fur-babies. Since working in the veterinary field, my skillset has only grown when it comes to providing care for our four-legged family members. With two fur-babies of my own and working full-time at a vet clinic at the end of the week, I'm available for half of the weekend and the beginning of the week for now. Since my own cats are rescues and highly sensitive to any changes in their daily routines, I'm currently unable to offer any hosting availability at my home. I am, however, able to stop by at any time to check on your fur-babies to make sure they have everything they need to be as comfortable as they can in your absence.

About: Hi! I’m a nurse of 15 years who is excited to bring the same compassion, attentiveness, and reliability I’ve given my patients to caring for your furry family members. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I truly love spending time with them—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or simply giving them the affection and comfort they deserve. My background in nursing means I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and highly dependable. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with patience, kindness, and close attention to their individual needs and routines. I also love that this work keeps me active—so your pup will get plenty of exercise and engagement! Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or just someone to give your pet extra love while you’re away, I’d be honored to help. I treat every pet like they’re my own and every home with the utmost respect. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry companion! 🐾 I have a fluid and adaptable schedule. I love working with pet parents to create a routine that works seamlessly for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and your trust are always my top priorities. Providing a safe, trustworthy, and loving environment for your pet is at the heart of everything I do.
About: During my middle school years, I engaged in volunteer work at a local animal hospital, where my responsibilities included maintaining the cleanliness of animal crates and assisting in the adoption process. Subsequently, during my high school years, I gained valuable experience through an internship with a professional groomer. Since then, I have had the privilege of caring for approximately nine dogs at various points in time, each of whom I consider an integral part of my family. My personal experiences have reinforced my belief that pets are cherished members of the family and should not be left unattended. I am currently a stay-at-home parent seeking opportunities to engage myself productively during the hours when my children are in school. I am eager to contribute my time and skills to meaningful endeavors that align with my interests and expertise. My pets get updated vaccines and vet visits as needed. I also make sure to walk them when weather is appropriate. I believe in active play. The more a dog is active, the less he/she will tear your house apart. I also believe in treat time but also to keep them on a healthy balanced diet.
“Frances is awesome! She has taken care of my cats many times. She is prompt and communicates very well about how they are doing. She feeds them, makes sure they have water and everything they need and plays with them. She also gave my older cat liquid oral medication. I will definitely have her take care of my cats again!”
About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. I am extremely attentive with any dogs that I take care of. I will provide sitting with care and attention and make sure your dog is safe and taken care of.
About: I have always been around animals my whole life and have cared for many dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, and reptiles. I have accumulated 70 animal volunteer hours. I have helped train my dog and love to taking her for walks. Summer just started so my availability has become very open. I do work a part time job that normally schedules me 4 hours twice a week so nothing too crazy. I do ride my horse often which usually takes about 3 hours with drive time and I normally ride him in the mornings or afternoons. I am completely ok with staying for multiple days or weeks at a time. I can crate your dog if need be and love walks and play time. I am used to giving my dog medication and have gotten very good at hiding the medicine with treats or tricks if your dog does not like taking medicine. My parents always taught me leave the place better than you found it so I carry that with me when I sit animals. Midnight potty runs do not affect me and am happy to accommodate to your dog or cats needs. I am completely ok with cleaning liter boxes or pee pads. Not much phases me as I have been around and owned animals my whole life
“Absolute professionalism and top-notch care for our pets from Eric and Morgan! This lovely couple boarded our dog Rosie and made home visits to care for our cat and guinea pigs during our spring break vacation. They were very responsive to our messages and took care to learn all the instructions for feeding and care of our animals. We received photos and updates throughout the week. Morgan even watered my plant babies! We highly recommend Eric and Morgan and will definitely book them again.”

About: I have taken care of several different pets for neighbors for many years. I walk, feed, bathe, care and attend to them! I also have a family dog of my own named Jake. We’ve had him for 8 years. I now also am a cat mom to 2 cats named Chicken and Ducky! I’m a full time employee who loves animals. I work Monday through Friday and I am typically off weekends. I’m most available during mornings and nights. I walk my own dog and my clients dogs. I follow instructions left for me when caring for clients pets and of course leave the area better than I found it. I always make sure pets are cared for and feel loved.
“Things fell through with my previous sitter (that wasn’t from Rover). I reached out to Kaity last minute, as I was scrambling to find someone to watch my chihuahua. She came within 1.5 hours of contacting her to do a meet and greet with Bailey since is weary of strangers from a traumatic past. She even moved around some her schedule to accommodate us. He was reserved at first, but quickly warmed up to Kaity. On day 2, he was already waiting at the door for her and greeting her with toys and kisses. I get cute pictures and a little summary of how their time together went. I would definitely recommend Kaity to anyone and I have her on weekly repeat visits. We are happy!”

Oakville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tara was such a blessing on this last trip. Communication was great as both dogs had issues. Tara has experience with pet medications that really is reassuring. Both dogs were great when we got home and very happy! I'm so glad she lives in our area too. We will be using Tara again when we go out of town. Thank-you Tara!

Asa was wonderful. Trustworthy, spent quality time with our puppy Violet. When I got home she looked better than when I left and is better behaved. I can't say enough great things about Asa. I never needed to worry because the updates and pictures told the story.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Christi on Rover! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were in such caring and capable hands. Christi went above and beyond by sending daily updates, along with pictures and videos, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she treated our dogs with genuine kindness and affection, making sure they were not only well cared for, but also loved. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does, and that made all the difference for us. We’re incredibly grateful for the care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate to look after their pets!

Diane went above and beyond to make certain my Sheltie and Ragdoll cat were well taken care of, loved and happy. I especially enjoyed the pics of Charlie she would send twice a day. I know now who to request when I need someone to care for them again. Thanks Diane!

Michelle was awesome and kept me up to date with juju process and anything. She sent some many pictures, even the freeloaders..LOL. I will use her again and again. it was a comfort knowing that she was taking care of juju while I was gone and keeping her company
Kendra was a fantastic sitter and my dog Martin gives her 4 paws and a tail up (equating to the 5 stars above--likely he just wants more belly rubs, but...) She showed up on time for all visits and snapped super cute photos of my pup while I was gone. Thank you Kendra!
