About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote. So, I have lots of flexibility to make sure your pups get their potty breaks and play time and walk time, even on days that I have class. And house sitting would work super well :) I am offering house sitting, check-ins, and walks. If I am house sitting, I will always stay the night to make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I will keep the outer doors locked and make sure I am able to hear your pets if they need me. I am also happy to sleep in the same room with them if that is your preference. I will make sure to follow whatever schedule your pets need, e.g., eating, medicine, walking. As far as check-ins and walks, I will make sure to respect whatever rules you have for the house (e.g., shoes off, doors locked). I'm also happy to give your dogs a bath when they need it!

About: I've cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents, and I treat every pet like they're my own. I understand that every animal has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive to detail, whether that's following feeding schedules, giving medications, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing water, maintaining habitats, or providing playtime and companionship. I have 4 years of volunteer experience caring for senior animals, so giving medications and providing extra care is no big deal for me. I'm comfortable caring for senior pets, shy animals, and pets that need a little extra patience. My goal is to make sure your pets stay happy, safe, and stress-free while giving you peace of mind with reliable, loving care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, allowing me to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets I'm caring for to ensure they receive timely visits, walks, feedings, playtime, and plenty of attention. I believe consistency is important, so I do my best to maintain your pet's normal routine while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise, and any special needs. I am also trained in animal CPR, which gives an added level of preparedness in case of an emergency. I respect your home as if it were my own and make sure pets remain secure, comfortable, and stress-free. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior or health and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I love dogs and taking care of them! Growing up I have always had a dog in my household. As soon as I turned 18 I got 2 puppies of my own! I know how hard it is to have to leave your pups at home alone so I would love to be able to take your dogs out and give them the enrichment they need! I have experience with seniors dogs and puppies and can also give medications if needed. I am currently a full time college student. I have full availability on weekends. During the week I am usually available early in the morning (before 8am), 12-2 in the afternoons and after 6pm in the evenings! I would love to meet your pup before a drop in/walk if possible! It’s important to me to learn your dogs routine and fulfill their needs. Your space will be respected if I am dropping into your home!

About: Before I became an expert at keeping my 9-year-old on a schedule, I was already mastering the art of happy pets! As a lifelong animal lover and mom to a pet-obsessed kiddo, I know that routines, patience, and lots of love go a long way. About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old. I’ve been taking care of them ever since! I have been watching other dogs since I was a teenager. I’ve pet sat a good variety of dogs, from border collies to labs and teeny little Pomeranian mixes! I DO NOT DO SLEEPOVERS I have a good deal of availability during the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I teach private lessons on Monday and Friday afternoons for a couple hours, otherwise my other jobs provide me a good deal of flexibility, so that I can pet set as much as possible! I do NOT do overnights! At my home our dogs have an electric fence, and have been properly trained not to cross the invisible line. I have also lived in areas where dogs are fenced in, and even with neither type of fence and just a long chain attached to the ground. Regardless I will take care of your pet regardless of the outdoor situation. I am pretty physically fit, so I can carve out some good time to take them on walks, long or short! I follow your instructions to the T when it comes to specific needs and potty/bed times. I will come to you and do whatever needs to be done to make sure your pet is happy and safe!

About: My soul dog and best friend of 13 years crossed the rainbow bridge on 12/26/25. I am absolutely heartbroken and can’t bear to remove everything I’ve written about her from my profile, nor can I bring myself to delete the photos; all I’ve done is remove her from “my pets”. So everything I’ve written below is still relevant minus everything about Katie. Thanks for understanding. ♥️ *UPDATE* I rescued a 14-week old pup a couple days after my best girl passed. His name is Arthur; he is 6 months old as of March 2026. He’s a very sweet boy and LOVES other dogs. I thought he was mostly border collie (he looks like it), but a DNA test showed he’s mostly blue heeler and Great Pyrenees with some border collie and Australian shepherd as well. Right now he’s ~35 pounds and I have no idea how big he will be lol. Hi! I would love to meet and look after your fur babes! Dogs are my saving grace, and I absolutely adore them. ! I have a once-high-energy/maintenance, now 13-year-old Australian shepherd (Katie) I’ve raised since she was about 9 months, so I’m very familiar with high energy dogs and their socialization and exercise needs! I’m also familiar with medication administration, both oral meds and injectables (I’m a nurse and a type 1 diabetic, and my dog takes meds everyday). Your fur babies are in good hands!! On walks, I let Katie go about half a mile (very slow), and then I have her get in her dog stroller. She just lays down and we continue our walk/stroll. I’ve got water, a bowl, treats, and poop bags all in the back. So if your dog is elderly and would enjoy/benefit from a stroll, or can only go short distances, I’ve got you covered! ☺️ Every day I work hard to maintain a consistent environment for my dog and make sure her needs are met. This includes feeding twice a day at scheduled times, administering daily meds at scheduled times, going on one to two walks per day (morning and afternoon/evening ), filling up the dog pool a few times/week, intermittent grooming, playing with plenty of squeaky toys and balls, meeting up with other dogs for socialization, and plenty plenty plentyyy of snuggles. 🥹♥️ As far as overnights go, I prefer to care for your animals in my own home as I’m a diabetic and have all the essentials here. I have a fenced yard and my home is very clean; I’m also willing to do pickup/dropoff for an extra fee). I do understand, however, that not all environments are comfortable for all dogs, so I can stay at your house if necessary! (Bonus points if I can bring my dog along!) In my home, animals are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. My bed is super low to the ground so my senior girl can get up there easily without injuring herself. If I am at your house and animals are not allowed on your furniture, I can respect that! You’ll just find me on the floor with them 🤣

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I grew up with dogs and cats and have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was a kid. Today, I still have two family dogs and two cats that I absolutely adore. One of my favorite things to do is get outside and exercise, so if your dog loves long walks, runs, or adventures, I’m always happy to help them burn off some energy! I’m very comfortable with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and loved! About: Empathetic and caring towards pets. My first pet was a fish, named Cogi. Since then I've had a gerbil, dog (bichon frise) named Casso, and now have two cats (littermates - part maine coon - Sage & Chowder). I have enjoyed times when I volunteered with child care and senior care facilities in the past as well. Always enjoy spending time with and connecting with pets. Rarely if ever meet any pet I have difficulty connecting with. I'm currently self employed, studying for MO real estate exam & license, and often engaged in other opportunities on the side as well. However, despite my busy schedule at times, I am quite proficient at juggling tasks, maintaining physical & mental health, eating healthy, exercising when possible, and still prioritizing pet care in the midst of it all! I can bring toys, treats, food, litter or anything needed, but am not currently boarding pets at my residence. I will do everything I can to make your pet(s) feel comfortable, clean up after myself and any pet(s), and keep you informed of anything out of the normal.

About: I have been an animal lover ever since I was little. I have taken care of family members dogs, helped train them, and given each one quality attention and care. I love all animals, even the ones people often forget about. I adore dogs and cats, I’m a cat momma right now to two adorable kitties! I love pitbulls, but all dogs will always have my heart! I am a full time college student during the day, and I work at a daycare from 7am-8:30 am Monday through Friday. My evenings (any time after 4 pm) are almost always free. I am also free most weekends as well. I am more than willing to try to work with you if you communicate with me. I prioritize your fur babies safety, happiness and comfort above all. In order to create as little stress or confusion for your pet, I would like to first speak with you on your routines and methods of care you use everyday. I find that if I follow familiar routines, the pet feels a bit more comfortable in a new persons care.
