“I ended up needing a dog sitter for 18 days with only a week's notice. My dog is used to a house with 2 adults, 5 children, and 2 cats. I wanted her to be plenty stimulated with attention. Fortunately, Adolfo's profile popped up, and I was immediately comforted by his remarkable number of return customers and 5-star reviews. Clearly, he was not someone new to this gig! After I brought my very shy dog over to meet him, we agreed to close the deal. Adolfo boards many dogs at a time. He runs his house like a doggy day care or very personalized kennel: bedtimes, breakfast times, naptime. The video and photo updates were a riot. Dogs everywhere--playing, wandering, exploring--always under his watchful eye. It seemed like every video had 4 or 5 new dogs I hadn't seen in the previous videos! But while there are certainly a lot of other dogs, Adolfo still gives personalized attention. One video featured my dog getting what could only be described as a private swim lesson from Adolfo in a borrowed pool. By the end of her time with Adolfo, the pictures and videos were clearly showing my dog happily snuggling with him and playing with the other dogs. The main feedback I could offer was that my extended family was insistent that Adolfo needs his own YouTube show. Any producers out there? I have to say, Adolfo's set up is not like having your dog stay with a close family friend, where she or he will get the run of the house just like at home. The dogs are kenneled during bedtimes, naptimes, etc. But I don't know that I have ever met someone who so naturally cares for the dogs like Adolfo. Your dog will be kept healthy and happy. Well worth the cost!”

About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. I spend most week days free at home honing my skill set and arranging bookings. Therefore plenty of time to head out for walks, or break and enrich a dog's day with playtime. I have a fenced in yard and large living room. 1 dog, 8 month 40lb siberian husky girl who loves company and playtime. Also have a large crate if separation is needed.

About: I have two super goofy, friendly, and loving male Pit bulls. I work from home so will be around pretty much all the time. I take my dogs on a walk mostly 3 times a day but again I’m around a lot and get bored easily so might be 5 times a day :) My dogs are definitely spoiled and should not expect anything less for your pet when I’m watching them! I have experience with senior dogs and dogs who need special care such as taking medicine. Mostly home all day and night. I work from home so your pet will always be attended too unless I leave to make a quick errand run. My dogs do have cages but they are barely in them. Whenever I do leave my dogs stay out freely but they do well in their cages when needed. They do get along very well with other pets. Small dogs or large dogs.

Fortunately, Adolfo's profile popped up, and I was immediately comforted by his remarkable number of return customers and 5-star reviews. Clearly, he was not someone new to this gig! After I brought my very shy dog over to meet him, we agreed to close the deal. Adolfo boards many dogs at a time. He runs his house like a doggy day care or very personalized kennel: bedtimes, breakfast times, naptime. The video and photo updates were a riot. Dogs everywhere--playing, wandering, exploring--always under his watchful eye. It seemed like every video had 4 or 5 new dogs I hadn't seen in the previous videos! But while there are certainly a lot of other dogs, Adolfo still gives personalized attention. One video featured my dog getting what could only be described as a private swim lesson from Adolfo in a borrowed pool. By the end of her time with Adolfo, the pictures and videos were clearly showing my dog happily snuggling with him and playing with the other dogs. The main feedback I could offer was that my extended family was insistent that Adolfo needs his own YouTube show. Any producers out there? I have to say, Adolfo's set up is not like having your dog stay with a close family friend, where she or he will get the run of the house just like at home. The dogs are kenneled during bedtimes, naptimes, etc. But I don't know that I have ever met someone who so naturally cares for the dogs like Adolfo. Your dog will be kept healthy and happy. Well worth the cost!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have loved caring for them from a young age! I grew up helping take care of our family dogs, so feeding, walking, playing, and giving lots of love and attention have always been a normal part of my life. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs when they’ve needed an extra hand. My weekends are usually free, which gives me even more flexibility for walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pup will have a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while staying with me! I have a fenced-in yard where they can safely run around, play, and enjoy some fresh air. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped take care of our family dogs since I was a little kid. I’ve also helped care for a few friends’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I work full time at chick fil a 5 days a week. I usually work mid shifts like 7-4, 8-5, 11-5 about 4 days a week and I always do some type of activity with my dog before I leave as well as feeding and letting him out. After I am always down to having fun with the pups! I have a fenced in backyard with one very playful, sweet pup who wants to be friends with every animal he meets! He’s very energetic so we are always going to the nearest park (which is basically right behind my house) or on a walk or playing in the yard! I also love to take the pups on a joy ride to get treats or just get some breeze!

That's exactly how I treat every pet in my care -- with lots of love, attention, scratches, belly rubs, playtime, and cuddles! Your dog will also have plenty of opportunities to enjoy our fenced backyard throughout the day. I live with two other animal lovers, my mom and boyfriend, so there are always multiple people around to keep an eye on your pet, let them outside, and give them extra attention. My mom proudly acts as “Grandma” to every animal who comes through our door! My boyfriend, Jacob, is the cuddle king. Because I work from home, I can give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I can provide walks, backyard time, playtime, cuddles, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I can easily turn my attention to your pet whenever they need me. My flexible schedule also allows me to accommodate different routines and the individual needs of each pet, as well as work with your schedule when you're arranging drop-off and pick-up times. If your dog loves spending time outside, they'll love our fenced backyard, with plenty of grass to explore, sniff, and roll around in. We live just blocks from Carondelet Park, too, so dogs who enjoy longer walks will have the opportunity to explore the park and get some extra exercise and enrichment. Inside our home, they'll have room to enjoy both the upstairs and downstairs areas and find a comfortable spot to relax. My home office and “Grandma's” living quarters are upstairs, while my boyfriend and I share the downstairs living space. We also have a door that separates the two levels, which allows us to create a separate space for your dog when needed, whether for safety or just to give them some quiet time and a break from our own animals. When introducing a new dog to our pets, we take things gradually and don't expect everyone to become instant best friends. We allow them to get comfortable with each other's presence, supervise their interactions, and give them separate spaces whenever needed. Every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so we let their behavior guide the pace rather than forcing interaction. I always want pets in my care to have a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax and be themselves while their people are away.
