“Nicki did everything I requested and my babies were taken very good care of. She updated me when she was on her way over and took pictures. She gave both of my cats attention and one of them can be rather difficult.”

“Cyndi is amazing! She checks in on our dog Sherman and is always great at keeping us updated on how he is doing. She sends pictures and takes care of him just as we would. I would highly recommend Cyndi!”

“My older dog is blind and crabby and my younger dog has the energy of a toddler after drinking a RedBull. She did great with both of them! She is a vet tech at the same vet practice for many years, so I feel better having that experience if anything would ever happen. Definitely would recommend.”
“Asa was wonderful. Trustworthy, spent quality time with our puppy Violet. When I got home she looked better than when I left and is better behaved. I can't say enough great things about Asa. I never needed to worry because the updates and pictures told the story.”

“Rachel was great with our girls Echo and Clementine! She’s friendly, professional, and followed instructions perfectly. Rachel arrived on time for the drop-in, took plenty of pictures, and ensured the girls were tucked into bed nicely. I will absolutely use Rachel again in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for both cats and dogs for friends and family. While my background is stronger with cats, I’m comfortable handling the day-to-day needs of dogs as well, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and maintaining routines. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away, so I make it a priority to carefully follow any instructions regarding feeding, medications, dietary restrictions, routines, or other special care needs. Because I work remotely, I’m also able to spend much more time at home with pets than many sitters can, which means more company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I currently work remotely on a typical Monday–Friday daytime schedule and am able to work from anywhere within the state, which means I can comfortably set up my work-from-home station while house and pet sitting. This allows me to be much more present and attentive throughout the day compared to sitters who may be away for long periods of time. My work is also fairly flexible, allowing me to adjust meetings and tasks as needed to help accommodate feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, and other routine care. Weekends are typically very open for me as well, giving me even more flexibility and availability for your pets’ needs. I currently have two cats of my own: Draco, an 11-year-old part Manx, and Loki, a 6-year-old black American Shorthair. I’ve had both of them since they were kittens, and caring for them has given me years of hands-on experience with maintaining routines, monitoring health, and creating a calm, safe environment for pets. Draco previously needed some extra attention with his weight and diet, and through a consistent feeding routine and focused care, he was able to lose over 10 pounds and maintain a much healthier lifestyle. That experience reinforced for me how important consistency, patience, and closely following care instructions can be for pets. Loki is a rescue and can be a little shy at first, so I also understand the importance of giving pets time to adjust, respecting their comfort levels, and helping anxious pets feel safe and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Melanie was quick to respond, super communicative, punctual, reliable, and kind. She worked with my trainer and myself to help my dog with their reactivity to strangers. Her willingness to help was much appreciated.”

“Tara is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure our Roxy is happy while we're gone. She's fantastic and makes us feel so much better about being out of town. She always seems tons of pictures and updates. Can't recommend her enough.”
“Eleanor did a wonderful job of taking care of our old cat, Rubble. She communicated daily and Rubble was well cared for. She brought in our mail and our packages, and followed our written requests completely. I hope that she will be available again next time we go out of town.”

I have pilling experience as well I am currently working full time M-F. 8am-4pm and 7pm-9:30pm. My weekend hours are 8am-2pm. I can do 25-35 minute check in visits or walks. About: I've grown up with many different types of dogs. I learned at a young age the importance of walks, exercise, how to love and care for dogs of all ages and sizes. I have dog-sat for multiple families in the past, sometimes up to a week, and end up creating life-long bonds with each 4-legged friend! I currently work remotely, making my own schedule apart from an in-person part-time job that is about 14 hours a week. My availability: Mondays all day, Tuesdays after 5, Wednesdays after 1, Thursdays after 5, Fridays after 1, Saturdays all day, Sundays between 12 and 4. (Starting in June I will be available pretty much all day everyday!) I have two cats and rent, so care would need to be at your home, which I am comfortable with. I am trustworthy and dependable and will have eyes on your furry friend at all times!
About: My daughter and I love animals. My daughter has dreamed of being a vet since she was 5, she is now 13 and starting to make actual plans for this to be her reality. We have dog sat in our house for friends and even my Pastor. The longest we have had a dog stay with us is 10 days. During our visits we try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I have given food at all times of the day or night and have also given oral medications. My daughter is 13 years old and is very involved with the care of the dogs. She loves to go on walks and take them out for potty breaks. She also loves to play and cuddle. Any dog we watch would have to be good with kids! I currently work from home full time M-F. My schedule is pretty flexible. We are home most evenings and weekends. We would also be willing to visit your home to care for your pet. We have a park near us and love to go their almost every evening. We are also very close to a dog park, if your dog is familiar with dog parks we would love to take them.

And now I walk dogs at the Humane Society for my job. I am saving up with this job and my job at the Humane Society for college! I am going to mizzou majoring in animal science to then go onto vet school. Beyond money this is an opportunity for more experience and fun as I am surrounding myself with my favorite thing which is animals! I am free to be scheduled at any time whether it be to walk, watch, or drop in on your pets any day of the week other than mon-fri 2:00-4:30 pm while I'm working. Other than that I am very flexible and happy to help out with your pets! I will happily follow all your requests and respect your space when I am pet sitting or walking your dog. I will be very attentive towards your animals as I care about them just like my own! I will also give them endless amounts of love!
About: I have experience in walking dogs, and house sitting. I have stayed with cats as well. I used to be a doggy daycare attendant! My responsibilities included: feeding animals on a regular schedule, walking them on a schedule, giving them medication, and giving them play time and attention. As an animal lover I know that pets need more than just food and water. They need love and affection too! Count on me to give it my all to your pets. :) I am currently employed part time, and am looking to make extra cash and to connect with pets since I don’t have any of my own. (Yet!) I would have to have an early heads up of when you’d need me, because I get my work schedule weekly. I apologize, but I am unable to provide at home services. I will do all that is necessary to love and take care of your pet.

Oakville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Haley was a fabulous pet sitter to my two kitties. She was so sweet and responsible-kept me informed every day while we were away as to how they were doing and sent lots of pictures. I would absolutely recommend Haley -in fact, we have already booked her again for our next trip 😊!!

Diane went above and beyond to make certain my Sheltie and Ragdoll cat were well taken care of, loved and happy. I especially enjoyed the pics of Charlie she would send twice a day. I know now who to request when I need someone to care for them again. Thanks Diane!

Kyra went so far above and beyond while caring for our 6-year-old black Lab mix and three cats (Ruca, Hala, and Dahlia). We left her with detailed instructions and some quirks — a big dog who gets a bit too excited around others, cats with different personalities and a special eye condition, litter box maintenance, etc. She handled everything perfectly. While we were away, our apartment complex had a sewer backup (every pet sitter’s nightmare). Kyra didn’t just call us — she jumped in, cleaned what she safely could with her own supplies, kept us updated the entire time, and made sure our pets were safe and comfortable. She also sent regular photo updates that made it obvious our crew loved her — relaxed, happy, and well cared for. It’s hard to leave your pets, but Kyra made it feel effortless and worry-free. She’s reliable, resourceful, communicates clearly, and truly treats your animals like her own. I can’t recommend her highly enough — if you’re lucky enough to book her, do it!
