“Lillian was GREAT!!!! She was there on short notice and able to change her schedule to accommodate watching my pup! Anytime I needed to reach out she responded very quickly and kept me updated as well. Willow loves walks and attention and she got all of it def will use Lillian again for my baby.”

“Sonja was amazing!! She did a great job taking care of my cat. She was so easy to communicate with and made the whole experience so easy. I would highly recommend her!!”

“Claire took great care of our dog, Monte, who can be a lot to handle. We were sent pics of him playing on her visits and he looked very well cared for! She was extremely thorough on her visits making sure he was good to go before leaving.”

“Mikayla did a great job working with all three cat personalities. Even one of my female cats, who can be skittish, was out and about with her during visits. Mikayla was also awesome when we ran into a logistical issue with the home access. She was immediately responsive and made time to go back and spend time with my cats because the logistical issue made the scheduled time shorter. I so appreciated her care and attention to their needs.”

“Katie took wonderful care of our two dogs, making sure they had ample breaks during the day, sticking to their schedule and going above and beyond to make sure the pups were comfortable while we were gone. A+ all around, thank you Katie!!!”

“Eleanor was very responsible and our family felt like she was taking care of our dogs well. We got photos of them every day we were away. She was great about responding and getting in touch with any questions or concerns in a timely matter. We will definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Stephen did an amazing job caring for our 2 cats while we were away. He not only fed them and took care of the litter box, but also played with them and gave them lots of pets and snuggles. I would highly recommend Stephen for any and all pet sitting!”
“Gabbie is great! My pup is pretty shy and going through some health concerns. Gabbie was attentive to what my dog needs, has been consistently on-time and has built up trust with her in the span of a week. Sadie seems really excited when Gabbie comes by and seems to enjoy their mid-day play sessions!”

“Danielle was wonderful and did a great job get my day Sable to take her medicine, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help with their cat. Jim”

“Lauryn is fabulous as a pet sitter! Her calm but fun presence was just what our dogs respond to well! She sent so many great pictures capturing what was happening while we were away. Baxter is not initially warm and friendly and he was cuddling in her lap in no time. She knows animals of all kinds! She handled all their needs including the three times a day medication Baxter needs.”

“Brooke was great with my cats while I was gone for over a week! She bought them a new cat toy to keep them entertained and they loved it. I always appreciate the daily photos/reports, it’s allows me to have a peace of mind while I’m away. Thanks Brooke!”

About: I’ve been around both cats and dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. Growing up with pets taught me how important it is to provide them with attention, patience, and consistent care. Whether your pet is playful and social or prefers a quieter approach, I’m happy to meet them where they’re comfortable. I understand that every pet has their own personality, and I’ll treat your cat or dog with the same care and affection I’d give my own pets. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a natural and enjoyable part of my daily routine, especially as a teacher with summers off. I love spending my extra time caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Being around animals is something I truly enjoy, and I appreciate the chance to fill my days with walks, visits, playtime, and companionship. I’m reliable, attentive, and excited to give each pet the care and attention they deserve I currently care for my two cats at home, so I’m very comfortable with daily cat care routines like feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, and recognizing their individual personalities and needs. In addition, I often help care for my parents’ dogs when needed, so I also have experience with feeding, walking, and general dog care. This mix of hands-on experience has made me confident and attentive with both cats and dogs, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Samantha and Christopher were amazing! They sent plenty of pics and videos of my kitties and I knew they were well taken care of. I could tell our cat really bonded with them too. I felt so comfortable going out of town known that Samantha and Christopher were the ones taking care of our pets. They also watch my mom’s dogs and the dogs love them!! We will absolutely ask them to come back again when we go out of town next!”

“We had a last minute need for a sitter for our two cats and Heather was graciously available to come check in on them twice a day. She was wonderful with them, kept us well informed of what our kitties were up to each day and how they were eating. She even sent us daily photos which our kids loved since they missed their cats so much. We will definitely be requesting Heather for all our cat sitting needs in the future!”

“Lauren was great! She saved me from worrying about my cats. She was always on time with visits and provided information for every visit. I felt our cats were well cared for...clean and happy! We also looked forward to the daily pictures! Thank you!!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wilbur Park
I can never say enough good things about Jennifer! Truly the best sitter you could have. Sharon assisted this time as well and is just as caring and detailed. They go above and beyond to make sure our kitties are not only fed but also happy and loved while we’re away.

Debbie was such a conscientious cat sitter! She took the time to get to know about my cat and also our house/ the intricacies of our front door lock. Her communication was also great and prompt! She left everything tidy. I really appreciated the peace of mind knowing Debbie was checking in on our cat.

As always Heather is great with both our cats - the new one who loves to help her with all the activities she's doing (the litter, feeding, etc) and the old one chats to her the entire time about he can't believe we left him (AGAIN) with the new one who is now his cross to bear all by himself.

Sonja is so kind, sweet and genuinely so caring when it comes to my little kitties. She followed (medical) instructions and tended to my babies with care and love. She provided the best, well thought out and thorough updates for each visit! It felt like I never left home. Can’t thank her and recommend her enough!!

Devon was great with our senior cat! She helped feed and medicate her, scooped litter, etc while also spending some quality time to help make her less lonely while we were gone. She sent pictures and updates daily, asked clarifying questions to ensure the best care was given, and even made recommendations for care when she noticed a change in our cat’s digestion. Highly recommended!

My loving kitty Sherbert passed away today. Katie was so kind and supportive to Sherbert and to me throughout. She notified me of Sherbert’s deteriorating condition right away and stayed with him as much as she could while still honoring her other appointments. She came back for him and took him to the emergency hospital while I was driving home to St Louis to be with Sherbert in his final moments. I couldn’t have asked for better kindness and care from anyone. I will continue to rely on Katie with complete confidence to take care of Callie, my other kitty. She and I both with miss Sherbert with all our heart. 🐈

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
