“Emma did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs and house while we were on vacation! Very good communication and the house was left clean and the dogs happy! After having a bad experience this summer with another Rover sitter I was pretty hesitant to use the service again but Emma proved to be very reliable so I could enjoy my vacation stress free!”

“Sharon took wonderful care of our Batman. Ensuring he was eating and taking his meds. She provided feedback and was responsive. I feel comfortable with her staying in my home and at ease he will be ok. Thanks again”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Alex took such great care of our dogs while we were out of town—he kept us updated with pictures throughout the week. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We also came home to a spotless house, which was such a gift after traveling. Highly recommend Alex!!”

“Ashley did an amazing job. Tons of photos and updates of our cat and puppy. She also cleaned our home(kitchen and floors) which was SUCH a treat to come home to after travel! She was amazing!”

“Ryleigh was fantastic. She provided us with lots of updates and pictures during our trip and made sure our dogs had lots of love and play time. Would highly recommend anyone to go to Ryleigh for your pet sitting needs!”

“Niara is amazing with my dog (100 lb lab mix) and has been a repeat booking for long weekends when I’m out of town. Niara always sends photos and videos of my dog while I’m gone and makes me feel very secure that my dog is in good hands. Can’t recommend her services enough!!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for both cats and dogs for friends and family. While my background is stronger with cats, I’m comfortable handling the day-to-day needs of dogs as well, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and maintaining routines. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away, so I make it a priority to carefully follow any instructions regarding feeding, medications, dietary restrictions, routines, or other special care needs. Because I work remotely, I’m also able to spend much more time at home with pets than many sitters can, which means more company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I currently work remotely on a typical Monday–Friday daytime schedule and am able to work from anywhere within the state, which means I can comfortably set up my work-from-home station while house and pet sitting. This allows me to be much more present and attentive throughout the day compared to sitters who may be away for long periods of time. My work is also fairly flexible, allowing me to adjust meetings and tasks as needed to help accommodate feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, and other routine care. Weekends are typically very open for me as well, giving me even more flexibility and availability for your pets’ needs. I currently have two cats of my own: Draco, an 11-year-old part Manx, and Loki, a 6-year-old black American Shorthair. I’ve had both of them since they were kittens, and caring for them has given me years of hands-on experience with maintaining routines, monitoring health, and creating a calm, safe environment for pets. Draco previously needed some extra attention with his weight and diet, and through a consistent feeding routine and focused care, he was able to lose over 10 pounds and maintain a much healthier lifestyle. That experience reinforced for me how important consistency, patience, and closely following care instructions can be for pets. Loki is a rescue and can be a little shy at first, so I also understand the importance of giving pets time to adjust, respecting their comfort levels, and helping anxious pets feel safe and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to maintain their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Matt did a great job of taking care of our home, plants and dogs. He kept me informed of how the dogs were doing and sent pictures. He actually came by one more time following the initial meeting to go over meds, etc. The house looked great when we got home and the plants and dogs thrived.”

“We had such an amazing experience with Tim over Christmas. He stayed at our place and was incredibly easygoing and wonderful with Emory. He even came by beforehand to meet Emory, which immediately made us feel comfortable. He brought his dog Oliver along, and the two of them got along so well. It was really sweet to see. Throughout our trip, he sent us daily pictures, videos, and updates, which we truly appreciated. The best part was how kind and flexible he was when our flight got delayed and we couldn’t return until the next day. He didn’t hesitate to take Emory home with him, made sure our flight had taken off, and then dropped Emory off the next day. It took all the stress out of an already stressful situation. We couldn’t recommend him enough and would absolutely trust him with Emory again.”

About: I have experience in walking dogs, and house sitting. I have stayed with cats as well. I used to be a doggy daycare attendant! My responsibilities included: feeding animals on a regular schedule, walking them on a schedule, giving them medication, and giving them play time and attention. As an animal lover I know that pets need more than just food and water. They need love and affection too! Count on me to give it my all to your pets. :) I am currently employed part time, and am looking to make extra cash and to connect with pets since I don’t have any of my own. (Yet!) I would have to have an early heads up of when you’d need me, because I get my work schedule weekly. I apologize, but I am unable to provide at home services. I will do all that is necessary to love and take care of your pet.
“Jamie did a great job taking care of Dobie and Sparky for two weeks. When we returned, the dogs were healthy and happy. She got in touch with us for any questions and sent updates with pictures. She left the house in great shape, even stripping the bed, laundering her towels, and taking out the trash. I would be pleased to book her again the next time we travel.”

“Emily was wonderful with my slow-to-warm up little dog. She asked questions about his needs beforehand, took great care of him while I was away, sent pictures and updates, and left my house just the way I left it. Highly recommend!”

“Mairin is a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! She stayed at our house for the week of Thanksgiving and our dog loved having her here! She sent us pictures, gave our dog lots of love and attention, and the house was spotless when we got home. Mairin communicates frequently, keeping us up to date on her schedule and how things are going. We will absolutely book her again!!”

About: I'm comfortable with all dog sizes, though am physically limited for some walking (up to 30 minutes per walk), tugging, and lifting. I have plenty of experience giving injections and oral medications. I have a lot of experience training puppies and aided my senior pup who was blind, deaf, and had dementia at the end. I do not mind having to change doggie diapers, either. I also have some experience with hamsters, pigs, birds, snakes, chickens, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I am a stay at home mom to two independent teens and have several pets of my own. I am available most days and times, whether for checking in on your pets, or staying the night so they don't get too lonely. If you have a contained/caged animal (like rodents, snakes, etc) that needs to stay out of your house for a given time, that can be discussed. I am unable to keep loose animals in my home due to my own pets. I can feed the pets on or off of a schedule, give medications when necessary, clean up after them (outdoor and indoor), brush them, give lots of cuddles and play time. I don't mind kennel/crating them or helping to train the animals. I also have experience with Fluent Pet buttons/talking pets.

“Total peace of mind! It’s hard to find someone you trust with your home and your pets, but Samantha exceeded all expectations. Our dogs were happy and calm when we returned.”

About: I've been petsitting since I was a teenager and have had pets myself since before I was born. I have an abundance of experience with special needs animals, particularly anxious ones. I'm also a pro at giving oral liquid medication! I've sat old dogs, young dogs, cats of various shapes and sizes, some gorgeous birds, guinea pigs and the occasional hamster/mouse/rat. If your pet has been called "antisocial" or "a problem" by previous kennels or sitters, then I'm the right gal for you! I do not care if they bark or hiss at me, I'll still feed them and take them potty. This profile has been inactive for a few years, most of my clients have come from word of mouth, but I decided to reactivate as I'm starting a new school program in January and textbooks are expensive (lol) I only sit in Missouri, due to crossing state borders and tax issues. Since I stay at your house with your pet getting them their breakfast and morning pee is really easy. I also try my best to not be away from the house for more than six hours at a time. I also make sure the dogs who like outside get lots of yard time! I love them as if they are my own! I am well versed on animal body language and signs. My maternal grandfather was a farm veterinarian and had taught me many things. I've sat both "I need cuddles 24/7 or I shall perish" and "don't even look in my general direction" to everything in between. I'm also a okay with them sleeping in the bed with me no matter their size!

Diane did a great job taking care of my 80-pound dog Ollie while I was out of town. She was available on short notice, and she spent lots of time with him and kept me well-informed. She was very respectful of our home and left it very clean. I would recommend Diane to anyone without hesitation.
