This was unknown to us when we adopted him and many families may have just put him down rather than go through the testing to diagnose and the years of medication to keep his life comfortable, but that was never an option for us. We were told Lucky would not live past 5 years of age - now he's recently turned 10 and he is as healthy and happy as could be. Dogs are our passion - we love to give them attention and spoil them when they visit. I am fully supportive of my wife's decision to open our home to "furry guests". About: It all started at 15 years old working at my first doggie daycare. That experience and passion led me into watching family/friends animals for years. During college I started to work for an exotic animal hospital and fell in love. I’ve roughly had 3 years of experience in a clinical setting between jobs. But I’ve been working with animals since before I can remember! I’m currently a full-time scientist that works Monday-Friday. I’m fortunate enough to get the afternoon to myself for a few hours to walk and hangout with the animals! I typically like to watch owners animals in their own home. I’m in the process of working towards offering boarding in my home. The pet is always more comfortable and relaxed when they’re in their own home!
