About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since the age of 10. Neighbors, friends and family had relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their fur babies as well as house sit when needed. I have worked at No Leash Needed as well as Fox Creek Veterinary Clinic doing dog boarding and doggie daycare for several years. I have always have had a passion for being around animals and know they are more than just a pet, they are family. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday but would love to use my off time to do pet care! Depending on the week, I am off by 4:30-5:30 every day of the week. I know how scary it is to leave not just your animal, but your loved one in someone else’s care. My goal is to make sure they get they care the need while also sticking to their routine whether that just be going for a walk to get their exercise or keeping them comfortable while their family is away!

About: I’ve worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility for over a year now and have a dog of my own. I take care of him along with the help from the family. I’m majoring in animal sciences at Mizzou and hope to become a veterinarian after grad school. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I work Monday through Wednesday, but weekends are totally free! I’m done with school May 8th and after that my other weekdays are also completely open! I have my own dog, Jake, who is very sweet and loves other dogs! About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dog in the family! I currently have three rescues of my own and they are my babies! I have experience caring for small and large breed dogs. I’ve successfully potty trained my three pups as well as a few foster puppies so puppies are no problem. I also have experience walking all different kinds of shelter pups so I’m accustomed to learning new personalities and building trust. I spoil every fur baby as if they were my own and I hope I get to meet yours :) I am a registered nurse and am transitioning to teaching. After mid August I will be available weekends and typical school holidays ie. spring breaks, summer breaks etc. Depending on age and my schedule, I have created or designated an area ( i.e kitchen) for my pups during work hours etc. I know sometimes it may take a little bribery with a treat, but that’s no problem! Just let me know what your normal routine is and I’ll follow it. :)

About: Done dog sitting for a while now. Grew up with dogs, boxers to be specific…. What a great breed! We lost our 15 year old Heidi last April, we were lucky to get that many years with her :) I am currently working full time, my children are all adult except our 11 year old, which leaves spare time for us in the afternoons and weekends. Would be super nice to have a doggie to cuddle with :) We have a back yard but it’s not fenced in. Have a cat and my stepdaughter has a 1 year old puppy. About: I have had dogs my whole life and currently have three. I’m new to using the Rover app but have always been taking care of dogs and have even helped my parents dog-sit on Rover! I’m a full time college student so I will be busy during work hours but my early mornings and afternoons are generally free! I am out of town some weekends but most I am in Springfield! I love animals and I’m very patient with them. I’m good at reading what dogs need and how they’re feeling. I’m also aware that every animal is different and requires its own special attention!

“Kyra went so far above and beyond while caring for our 6-year-old black Lab mix and three cats (Ruca, Hala, and Dahlia). We left her with detailed instructions and some quirks — a big dog who gets a bit too excited around others, cats with different personalities and a special eye condition, litter box maintenance, etc. She handled everything perfectly. While we were away, our apartment complex had a sewer backup (every pet sitter’s nightmare). Kyra didn’t just call us — she jumped in, cleaned what she safely could with her own supplies, kept us updated the entire time, and made sure our pets were safe and comfortable. She also sent regular photo updates that made it obvious our crew loved her — relaxed, happy, and well cared for. It’s hard to leave your pets, but Kyra made it feel effortless and worry-free.
