We left her with detailed instructions and some quirks — a big dog who gets a bit too excited around others, cats with different personalities and a special eye condition, litter box maintenance, etc. She handled everything perfectly. While we were away, our apartment complex had a sewer backup (every pet sitter’s nightmare). Kyra didn’t just call us — she jumped in, cleaned what she safely could with her own supplies, kept us updated the entire time, and made sure our pets were safe and comfortable. About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! I currently am not working, as I have just recently graduated from Saint Louis University. In other words, I am more often than not, completely available to work anytime on Weekdays and Weekends. However, on June 1st, I will be starting an internship that requires 20 hours a week but my schedule is extremely flexible, as the internship is willing to adjust to whatever schedules I have. Because of my flexible availability, I am able to spend as much time with your fur baby as you would like me to. About: My daughter and I love animals. My daughter has dreamed of being a vet since she was 5, she is now 13 and starting to make actual plans for this to be her reality. We have dog sat in our house for friends and even my Pastor. The longest we have had a dog stay with us is 10 days. During our visits we try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I have given food at all times of the day or night and have also given oral medications. My daughter is 13 years old and is very involved with the care of the dogs. She loves to go on walks and take them out for potty breaks. She also loves to play and cuddle. Any dog we watch would have to be good with kids! I currently work from home full time M-F. My schedule is pretty flexible. We are home most evenings and weekends. We would also be willing to visit your home to care for your pet. We have a park near us and love to go their almost every evening. We are also very close to a dog park, if your dog is familiar with dog parks we would love to take them.

I am so excited about the opportunity to take care of your pets! I have had pets all of my life - dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, frogs, you name it! I have 13 years of experience caring for all pets, even those with special needs. My goal is to not only take care of your animals and make sure they are happy and healthy, but to make sure you have ease of mind while you are away. I will take them on walks, administer any kind of medication if needed, play with them, send you check-in texts and photos, and comply with any other requests you may have! I strive to find ways to connect with your pet, whether they are low or high energy. All it takes is patience and maybe a treat :) Even though I work a full-time job, I will do everything in my power to be flexible for you and your pet. If you require specific times for care, we can make it work! I care for pets in clients' homes by making sure they are greeted/acknowledged. Sometimes it takes a while for them to calm down. :) Checking on food and water is my next task. I will let your pet outside/on the leash, walk them and play with them. About: Hello! My name is Katie and I love animals of all sizes! I have grown up around dogs my entire life so I know how important human interaction is for them throughout the day. I currently own an amazing 10 year old yellow lab mix named Sophie. She is my world! I have had her since she was 6 months old. This means that I fully understand the level of trust it takes to have a complete stranger take care of your precious baby. I will do my very best to protect your dog while also making sure they have a good time exploring the world around them on our daily walks. Every dog deserves love and attention throughout the day and I will do my best to provide it! I work in the leasing office of an apartment complex out in Fenton. My schedule is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. My weekends are typically free! Whenever I leave your house/apartment, I can crate your dog to ensure that they don’t hurt themselves or get into anything while I’m away. If they don’t need to be put into a crate, I’ll make sure that I pick up and put away things that could potentially be harmful to them!

About: I'm a big fan of caring for animals, and I have lots of energy to provide your pet with all the attention they deserve. If your dog wants to walk, we'll get in a good walk, but if your dog wants to run, I'm also able to put in the miles so we both get some exercise. I don't have experience with training puppies, but I am happy to support any on-going training by following through with established protocols (specific feeding times or amounts, specific walk times, etc.). I have a flexible job that allows me to build my own schedule from week to week, so I have lots of time to care for pet needs. All pets will have their basic needs met plus more! I will attend to whatever is needed with love and care - feeding, walking, playing, snuggling, and cleaning up all the messes that can come with animals too.

About: I grew up around dogs working at a grooming shop and love animals! My children are older. They are 21 and 18 and loves animals as well! I do wfh. I’m available during the week and weekends as well. I do have a Pom-a-Poo, Brooklyn and a cat, Milo. They are sweet and loving! I enjoy on nice days taking dogs to the dog park, walks on trails, or through my neighborhood. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take them outside on a leash frequently. I have dog sat for friends and family numerous of times so thought I’d expand and help other people so they feel like their beloved animal is taken care of and in good hands while they are away! I have plenty of time to play with your pups and available pretty much 7 days a week! During the day someone is generally always home. I have a fenced in yard. I also ask if your dog is crated to bring your crate as well. I feed them on the schedule you provide and walks as well I am currently working from home and available to maintain any schedule or routine as needed to ensure dog/puppy day to day in minimally disrupted I have a fenced in yard and make sure I do not leave out items they can get into or harmful to ensure their safety

About: At 17 years old I worked at a professional pet care industry that included training, daycamp, boarding and grooming. From there I went to the very same company’s dog training academy where I graduated at top of my class. After, that very same company hired me on to be a Personal Trainer at their facility where I worked for about 2 years. I am a certified professional dog trainer that can add my services into the care you are looking for! I have full availability. Drop in visits and/or walks will work better with my specific scheduled but I can do other options with enough notice. This question is very depending on if you are interested in training services. If you are, it will be a very structured, bond building, and teaching stay. For regular care, I think play and mental stimulation is important for a dog when the owners are out of town and they have no outlet for energy.
