About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! Tour anytime! I’m allowed to bring my animals to work and they absolutely love it! Always hands on. My yard is very large and it works great for running and playtime. My neighbor dogs are so sweet! My pets are crate trained. I also have other large crates and the space! Free range is ok with me! I carry potty pads and diapers for male dogs just in case. I have a little senior Yorkie who needs them too.

She ended up keeping him for us for 6 weeks, and we never had to worry about him throughout that time. About: I have owned a few dogs, and have watched over many more! I love dogs and am looking forward to meeting new dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am currently working a part time job that is flexible. I am willing to do all tasks assigned from walking to feeding to bathing. I am friendly but will be serious when needed to properly care for the dog. Your dog will always be the top priority. I will follow all instructions left by the owner, while also having fun your dog. I can take them on walks, to the park, and even swimming! I have a car to get whenever I need to be and I am always on time. About: I’ve taken care of my dogs in my home since I was around 13. A lot of neighbors rely on me to watch their dogs or even stay the night. I have raised many puppies throughout my life. About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.

About: No pets over 20 Ibs as my space is not big enough please. I worked with my step mom since 13 with her dog/cat grooming company. Therefore i am very versed with many different types of companions. I have also had many dogs and cats throughout my years. I hope to give any companion the best time. I am a working mom of a 4 year old and 3 year old. They are both very respectful and gentle with pets. We have a five year old cat, but he has lived with both cats and dogs. My cat does get along with both. Since I do work full time, I wont personally be home all the time with the pets. On the plus side though, my husband stays home so there will always be someone here with them! I have a decent sized yard but it is not fenced. I will take the dogs for walks around my neighborhood, and any potty breaks/walks I will be sure they are leashed when outside. As for cats i do have a smart litter box so it stays very sanitized and it tracks potty time to make sure everything is looking good with cats! I have a huge cat tree. I do not have much supply for dogs, but Im willing to get anything to accommodate a dogs needs. Please no pets over 20 Ibs. My space is not big enough for bigger pets.

About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. About: I am a dog mom and also have had chickens,turkeys, a ferret and bunnies. I was a zookeeper for almost 10 years. I recently graduated with my PhD in biology and my focus is on river ecology. I love animals and would love spending time with your fur baby! My schedule is flexible during the summer/currently. I have the ability to fit plenty of walks and play time in with your pet and I look forward to it! Depending on your pups ability I will take them for as long or short of walks as needed. If there are parks nearby I would love to venture to those.

“I normally work from home, but had to travel for almost two weeks recently. My dog is my coworker and I was so worried how she would do all day without me there when my family was at work and school during the day. Thank goodness for Monica! About: I’ve had dogs since I was born and love seeing their joy when they see me walk in the door! I am very good with anxious dogs as I currently have a shy and anxious pup. He takes medications so I am also familiar with administer medications to pups should that be needed! I will be working as a pharmacy resident and I’m looking to make some extra cash doing something I love. I’d love to work more time into being outside and what better way to get outside than with pets! In my home I have a fenced in yard so my pup and I can play outside and he can run free. While fenced yards are great, enrichment outside the home is also very valuable so walks are also a staple!

About: Hi! My name is Elyse. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia and currently work for a healthcare company in the St. Louis area, but also love taking care of cats and dogs! I am so excited about the opportunity to take care of your pets! I have had pets all of my life - dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, frogs, you name it! I have 13 years of experience caring for all pets, even those with special needs. My goal is to not only take care of your animals and make sure they are happy and healthy, but to make sure you have ease of mind while you are away. I will take them on walks, administer any kind of medication if needed, play with them, send you check-in texts and photos, and comply with any other requests you may have! All it takes is patience and maybe a treat :) Even though I work a full-time job, I will do everything in my power to be flexible for you and your pet. If you require specific times for care, we can make it work! I care for pets in clients' homes by making sure they are greeted/acknowledged. Sometimes it takes a while for them to calm down. :) Checking on food and water is my next task. I will let your pet outside/on the leash, walk them and play with them. Depending on the service, I will stay however long you would like me to for house sitting and drop-ins. I will ensure all doors are locked, the space is tidied up, and follow any other directions you may have while house sitting.
About: I’ve taken care of my dogs in my home since I was around 13. A lot of neighbors rely on me to watch their dogs or even stay the night. I have raised many puppies throughout my life. I am currently working part-time. I work Monday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I also am in school from 8-2:40 throughout the week. Other than that I am available a lot!! I take my dogs out on leashes. If there is a fence able for the dogs to go out, I will let them out but stay out there with them.

About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! Tour anytime! I’m allowed to bring my animals to work and they absolutely love it! Always hands on. My yard is very large and it works great for running and playtime. My neighbor dogs are so sweet! My pets are crate trained. I also have other large crates and the space! Free range is ok with me! I carry potty pads and diapers for male dogs just in case. I have a little senior Yorkie who needs them too.
