About: I have been dog-sitting since I was a teenager for family and friends, and I have grown up with pets for most of my life. I have experience with drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, allergies, and special diet/medication needs. My parents also had a boxer who tends to have lots of scabs and other skin-related ailments so bandages and first aid were common in my house. I’m a freelancer so my schedule varies week by week. My schedule during the weekdays can get pretty full with my regulars and main job. However, I’m always happy to add another furry friend to the calendar! Safety is always my highest priority for any job. I am willing to do what you consider the safest and most comfortable for you and your pet(s). I also want you and your pet(s) to be comfortable when I'm caring for them. A happy dog is the best dog!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats around me pretty much my entire life, and I’ve always believed they’re part of the family. In our house, Pepper and Lily pretty much run the show! 😊 Pepper is our 8-year-old Maltipoo, and Lily is our 6-year-old American Shorthair cat. They keep us entertained, keep us on schedule, and remind us who is really in charge. I’m retired, which gives me something many pet sitters don’t have as much of — time. I enjoy being around animals and would much rather spend my day with a dog or cat than rush in and out between a dozen other commitments. Over the years, I’ve cared for the pets of friends, relatives, and neighbors. I haven’t done it professionally, but I’ve been a pet owner and animal lover all my life, and I understand how much trust is involved when you leave someone with your pets. A little about how I care for pets Every pet is different. Some want a long walk and lots of play; others are perfectly happy curling up beside you. I’m happy to follow their routine and your instructions — whether that means walks, meals at a particular time, medications, special attention, or caring for an older pet. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care in your home. My preference is house sitting because I think most pets are happiest in their own surroundings, with their familiar beds, toys, smells, and routines. I don’t offer boarding at my home because Lily has made it clear that she does not appreciate houseguests of the canine variety! 😄 Your home matters to me, too. This is something I feel strongly about because I’ve used Rover myself. We’ve had Rover sitters care for our pets and stay in our home, so I know what it’s like to hand your keys—and your furry family members—to someone you don’t know. I will treat your home the way I want someone to treat mine: with respect, care, cleanliness, and common sense. I’ll follow your instructions, keep things tidy, and make sure your home is secure while you’re away. Most importantly, I want you to be able to enjoy your trip or time away without worrying about what’s happening at home. I’m not looking to simply “check in” on your pets. I enjoy their company. I’ll talk to them, play with them, take them for walks, give them attention, and let them keep me company. If your pets are happy, I’m happy. This includes their regular feeding schedule, medication administration if needed, and plenty of play and cuddle time. For Drop-In Visits or Walks, we ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh water, potty breaks, and of course, lots of love. We also always make sure your home is secure before we leave and will send you plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun we are having!

About: Hi! My name is Elyse. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia and currently work for a healthcare company in the St. Louis area, but also love taking care of cats and dogs! I am so excited about the opportunity to take care of your pets! I have had pets all of my life - dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, frogs, you name it! I have 13 years of experience caring for all pets, even those with special needs. My goal is to not only take care of your animals and make sure they are happy and healthy, but to make sure you have ease of mind while you are away. I will take them on walks, administer any kind of medication if needed, play with them, send you check-in texts and photos, and comply with any other requests you may have! I strive to find ways to connect with your pet, whether they are low or high energy. All it takes is patience and maybe a treat :) Even though I work a full-time job, I will do everything in my power to be flexible for you and your pet. If you require specific times for care, we can make it work! I care for pets in clients' homes by making sure they are greeted/acknowledged. Sometimes it takes a while for them to calm down. :) Checking on food and water is my next task. I will let your pet outside/on the leash, walk them and play with them. Depending on the service, I will stay however long you would like me to for house sitting and drop-ins. I will ensure all doors are locked, the space is tidied up, and follow any other directions you may have while house sitting.

I have previous experience working in a veterinarian office, dog day care, dog walking/pet sitting, and have taken care of dogs in advanced training to become service dogs. About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. At one point I was taking care of 3 dogs. Currently helping my roommate train her small dogs! I am able to care for pets most nights and weekends! Can stay overnight or make a quick stop for potty breaks, walks, and lovings. I keep a relatively strict feeding schedule but know when to throw in some extra treats for fun. I do my best to exercise with pets and get their energy out in a safe manner.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old. I’ve been taking care of them ever since! I have been watching other dogs since I was a teenager. I’ve pet sat a good variety of dogs, from border collies to labs and teeny little Pomeranian mixes! I DO NOT DO SLEEPOVERS I have a good deal of availability during the summer, so my schedule is very flexible! I teach private lessons on Monday and Friday afternoons for a couple hours, otherwise my other jobs provide me a good deal of flexibility, so that I can pet set as much as possible! I do NOT do overnights! At my home our dogs have an electric fence, and have been properly trained not to cross the invisible line. I have also lived in areas where dogs are fenced in, and even with neither type of fence and just a long chain attached to the ground. Regardless I will take care of your pet regardless of the outdoor situation. I am pretty physically fit, so I can carve out some good time to take them on walks, long or short! I follow your instructions to the T when it comes to specific needs and potty/bed times. I will come to you and do whatever needs to be done to make sure your pet is happy and safe!

About: I have trained puppies and have had multiple pets. My friends are always asking me to help with their animals, even financially. I love the meet and greets and spending my time with animals! I am only Doordashing right now for work and pet sitting so my hours are very flexible! I am pregnant though! But that has no effect because my boyfriend tends to help me with the animals so that your animal is busy all day when he is home and I try to spend some time Dashing! We have ample time for any hour for feedings, walks, playtime, or potty breaks! I am safe and reliable. Always on my toes and ready for a fun day with a pet. I hope you will entrust me. I have been house/pet sitting for the last few years on my own but I'm trying to expand my client base and meet new furry friends! I also have lots of experience with cats! About: I have had a dog my entire life growing up. My parents relied on me to take care of my childhood dog and I learned so much just by doing that. I am now 30 and got my own puppy about four years ago. I lover her so much! I give her biweekly baths, daily walks and hourly playtime! Whether it is a walk, daycare or overnight stay, you can trust me to love and care for your pup! I am a teacher so I have the summers off to take care of your dog! I like to wake up early and take my own dog on a walk to start my day. I have a very free and flexible schedule! I have a fenced in yard and mini Bernedoodle who loves all dogs! I am very responsible and my house and yard are extremely dog friendly.

About: Growing up, there was never a time when there wasn’t a dog in the house, and I have been a cat mom for going on five years, so I am very understanding of the care that comes with each animal. Additionally, I have experience with puppies/kittens all the way to senior pets and know that each require personalized care (and I have no problem giving it). As an added bonus, I live with my partner, who also is a dog dad and everyday he gives his dog daily vitamins to stay happy and healthy. Plus he used to work at a wild life rehabilitation center, so he is very familiar with how to care for all animals, regardless of species, age or health. I work a hybrid schedule and currently have every other Friday off so I have plenty of time to care for your best friend. My work also allows employees to bring their dogs to work, if it’s something you’re comfortable with, I would love to show off your doggo! I am available for drop off/pickup anytime on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Plus my partner is a graduate student, so he comes home throughout the day to care for his own dog. I have a fenced in yard, so there are no worries when it comes to potty or play. Plus, I live with a very playful dog who can’t wait to spend time with your doggo! I also have a cat who is very tolerant of dogs (she probably won’t play, but doesn’t mind their presence). She is also very comfortable around other cats, she’s a tad shy so another playmate will probably do her some good!

About: Hello! I have previously built a small dog sitting clientele in the city of Columbia between the years of 2017-2019. In 2019 I moved to STL and worked through Rover for about two more years until I got a full time job. Currently dipping my toes back into pet care! Although I am in St. Louis I am willing to travel to areas including, but not limited to; St. Charles, Wentzville, O'Fallon, etc. My set days off are Sunday and Monday. I do still currently have a fulltime job, so for the time being I will only be able to do drop in visits and walks. I am comfortable working with either dogs or cats. I have a 4 year old orange cat that I rescued at just 2 weeks old, so I have experience working with very small kittens as well. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I work about 30 hours a week, but will not let this effect how I care for your pet! My days off are always Sunday and Monday, and I am available at anytime either of those days, as well as most evenings and certain mornings. I unfortunately cannot offer services in my own home, but I am more than willing to provide pet watching in the clients home. I am able to do drop in visits, feedings, hair brushes, playtime, walks or whatever your pet needs while you're at work or just out for the day.
