Elizabeth did a wonderful job of taking care of our little girl Sadie. She made sure Sadie was fed and had fresh water but more importantly, she spent quality time with Sadie and Sadie loved the attention. We couldn't ask for a better sitter than Elizabeth and Sadie agrees.

About: As a performer who travels the world by sea, I know how comforting the love of an animal can be and while I’m away I miss that connection so much! I have loved, snuggled, and pet animals around the world and while I’m back on land I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same attention! I’ve had dogs my whole life and grew up in a home full of furry friends. My parents volunteer with Duo Dogs, so our house has always been a revolving door of puppies and big dogs alike. Two of our English Labs are especially sensitive to fireworks and thunderstorms, so I’m no stranger to calming anxious pups with patience, love, and a gentle hand. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a game of fetch, some cozy snuggle time, or maybe it’s your turn to get out and see the world, I’m here to keep your pets happy and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is wide open during my time home-so don’t hesitate to reach out and let’s set something up! Since I am taking a land break, my schedule is very open! I enjoy my time at the gym, but other than that I don’t have many routine commitments. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I offer care in your home where your pet feels most secure and relaxed. I always follow your instructions closely, respect your space, and treat your home with care. You can trust that your pet will be loved, safe, and well looked after while you’re away.

About: Hi! I’m Marissa, a dependable and caring animal lover who understands that pets are family. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I enjoy providing a safe, loving, and fun environment while their owners are away. I’m a stay at home mom that can give my full attention to your pets on the weekends while my husband takes care of my little ones. I would like to care for pets at their home so they are familiar with their environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means long walks, playtime, sticking to a specific feeding schedule, or simply offering extra cuddles and companionship. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when leaving your pet with someone else, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep you connected

About: We’ve loved meeting all kinds of dogs through Rover, whatever breed or size, and we’d love to spend time getting to know your furry friend through walks, cuddles, and just being together! We’ve had several dogs over the years from an 11 lbs. Schnoodle to an 80 lbs. GSP to now Oliver, a 50lb. mix of many breeds. (However, he can go two-doors down to my father-in-law‘s house if our furry friends don’t get along.) We hope to meet you soon. Amy currently works mostly from home with a very flexible schedule. We get up around 6AM in the morning and stay up until about 10PM. We’d love to get steps in by taking your pet for a walk! Carl also often stops home throughout the day. Wehave a screened in back deck and also a fenced in area below that is shaded. Your pet can find the perfect place to relax and enjoy, weather pending!

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I learned to love and take care of them from a young age. My sister has cats and she taught me how to care for them as well. Taking dogs for a walk every few hours. Playing with any animal and showing them the love they all deserve. Feeding them when and as. I can take them on walks every few hours. Or sit with them for a while and keep them company. Feeding them and taking them outside after as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since the age of 10. Neighbors, friends and family had relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their fur babies as well as house sit when needed. I have worked at No Leash Needed as well as Fox Creek Veterinary Clinic doing dog boarding and doggie daycare for several years. I have always have had a passion for being around animals and know they are more than just a pet, they are family. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday but would love to use my off time to do pet care! Depending on the week, I am off by 4:30-5:30 every day of the week. I know how scary it is to leave not just your animal, but your loved one in someone else’s care. My goal is to make sure they get they care the need while also sticking to their routine whether that just be going for a walk to get their exercise or keeping them comfortable while their family is away!

I can board, pet sit or just walk your dog weekdays or weekends day or night. I have a fenced in yard with one senior dog. I can crate a dog up to 40lbs. We can go for walks if desired.

I’m currently off work for the summer, so me and my two kids are just hanging out and having fun! I have a lot of free time to walk your lovely dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a two story house. About: Growing up I always had a dog! I was taught how to care for them at a very young age. I grew up with a few different size dogs. I am most familiar with medium and small dogs, however I have worked with large ones. I know a little bit about training and grooming but I am still working on perfecting those skills. I currently work full time, however I have plenty of time before and after work to help care for your pets!! A typical weekday shift is 9-6 or 11-8. I work rotating weekends and Sundays are 10-7. I also have an hour break and I am willing to stop by to check in/let them out. I currently live in an apartment, it has a dog park and plenty of places for walks. I do not have any pets so that would not be an issue. Growing up I perfected the art of not letting animals out the door and making sure they are properly leashed for outings.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child and have experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up around animals taught me how to provide attentive care, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give pet parents peace of mind. I have experienced with administering medications, anxious, and reactive pets. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily life. I enjoy spending time with animals and make time each day to feed, walk, play, and provide companionship. My schedule is flexible enough to accommodate pet visits and walks while maintaining a consistent routine, so pets receive the attention and care they need. I prioritize each pet's safety and comfort by carefully following the owner's instructions and maintaining their normal routine. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, keep potentially harmful items out of reach, and closely monitor pets during walks and playtime. I also pay attention to each pet's behavior and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Valley Park stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Valley Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Valley Park with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
