Pet care is fully integrated into our daily lives. I (Eric) work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays, so the dogs have consistent company and supervision during those days. The rest of the week, before heading out, I care for dogs first thing in the morning—feeding, potty breaks, and any necessary training or structured time. I'm always home by around 4:30 in the afternoon to resume care, walks, playtime, and more. Morgan is home most mornings until about 9 or 10 during the week and is often able to return home quickly if needed. Between the two of us, there’s rarely a long stretch without someone here. While we’re both away, dogs are safely kenneled to ensure they stay secure and avoid getting into anything that could harm them. This routine keeps their day consistent, calm, and structured—something we find dogs thrive on. Our schedule gives us ample time to care for, engage, and provide training for each dog we welcome into our home.
