I work Monday through Friday from eight to 4:30 PM but I live 2.5 miles from my house so I leave literally 10 minutes before I start and I can come straight home after. I’m allowed to run home on my lunch break and when I have fur babies in my home, they are what I plan all of my time around. It allows me to enjoy them, and I can do my other task later when I don’t get them to spend time with.

I treat pets like they’re the most important thing in the world whether they are in my house or someone else’s. I have one senior dog and two senior cats so I recognize the importance of a routine. I know that they all have their own little personalities and their likes and their dislikes and I try to keep them as happy as possible. My home has a fenced in backyard and lots of toys if that is what they’re interested in. I also enjoy taking them for walks, if they are able, and believe car rides are very important

Pets have been part of my entire life. My earliest memories are of living on a farm and interacting with horses, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats and more. I have been around babies all the way to seniors. I have had healthy pets along with ones that I had to provide medication. My friends and family have trusted me with their fur babies to stay at my home, get baths, be fed and cuddled by me. I believe pets are our family members and truly enjoy spending time with them. My siblings will tell you that I buy their pets gifts before my own nieces and nephews… Lol.

Sonja is so kind, sweet and genuinely so caring when it comes to my little kitties. She followed (medical) instructions and tended to my babies with care and love.
