Pet care is a meaningful part of my everyday routine. I work a 9–5 desk job, so spending time with animals — whether it’s evening check-ins, after work walks or weekend visits — is the perfect way to stay active, unwind, and do something I genuinely enjoy. I make it a priority to hit my step goal daily, and having a furry companion by my side makes those walks even better. Caring for pets adds balance to my day and gives me a chance to connect with animals.

Before confirming a booking, I like to learn a bit about your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs. It’s helpful to know things like medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavior on walks, and how they do with new people or animals. I also ask about their daily schedule, favorite toys or treats, and any commands they know. All of this is to make sure your pet is safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away!

During walks and drop-in visits, I love to keep things fun and engaging based on your pet’s needs and energy level. That might mean a sniff-style walk where they can explore with their nose, or a more brisk walk to help burn off energy. I can also incorporate basic training refreshers ,or relaxed strolls for senior pups. During drop-ins, I offer playtime with their favorite toys, treat or puzzle games for mental stimulation, and plenty of cuddle time for pets who just want some love. I’m happy to handle feedings, fresh water, litter box clean-up, and can administer medications as needed to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.

Hi! I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages since I was 14, and I truly love spending time with animals. I can also administer any medications your pet might need — I know how important their health is! I work a 9–5 desk job, so I make it a goal to walk every day to hit my 10k steps and having a furry walking buddy makes it way more fun. I’m also working on paying off some student loans, so Rover is a great way for me to do something I enjoy while earning a little extra. I’d love to meet your pet and give them the care and attention they deserve!

Sarah was timely and always sent pictures and updates of our pets. I would highly recommend and will definitely use her to care for our pets in the future! 🙂
Sarah took great care of our kitty, Chuck, while we were away for nearly a week. She was very communicative, and followed instructions and came at the appointed times as planned. We were very happy with her care and would love to have Sarah take care of Chuck again when needed!

Sarah is amazing! I have a dog who isn't the friendly to other people and dogs, but she is a dog/cat whisperer! I was so worried about how quickly Diesel would warm up to her after we were hundreds of miles away on vacation, but they were the best of friends by the end of day 1! She is so great with our cats and dogs. She is our go-to dog sitter!
