About: Experience with my own cat but also caring for different pets with different needs. Comfortably does the hard stuff (administers meds, picks up poop and cleans litter boxes) while also giving love, pets, play and attend. Experience with my own cat, foster cats and dogs, and living with dogs of many ages. I work from home with a very flexible schedule which allows me to drop in, work from different places, and move things around for pet care. I’m able to walk, bike or drive to your home with ease. Care and comfort is the main priority. While I have an outgoing chatty calico, I recognize other pets need different attention and approaches. I love to meet pets and get them comfortable with me before a service, and use the advice of the owners to know what works.

About: We’ve both had dogs in our family since we were young! We also just had a new addition to our family, paçoca! She’s a nova scotia duck toller. Her name means little peanut in portuguese and nothing describes her better than that. we love nothing more than to be around dogs. We would love to care for yours! We both work a hybrid schedule and at least one of us is always available to care for, play, and walk pets as many times as needed. We can provide your dog with the exercise they may need, whether it is a morning run, long walk in the afternoon, or dog park visit. We live in a pet-friendly two bedroom apartment with lots of light and space. Dogs we’ve cared for prior really enjoyed laying on the couch/their beds and getting some sun. We live very close to Logan Circle, which is a great, pleasant and green space in downtown DC for dogs to walk and play with other dogs. We love incorporating the pets’ routines into our own and can adapt as needed. Taking them on walks during the day is a great opportunity to take work breaks, get some fresh air, and enjoy the day. Our apartment is spacious and gets lots of sunlight, which the dogs love! It’s also close to lots of nice green areas such as Logan Circle or the S street dog park!

Lots of pets, cuddles, and attention as long as they as willing and comfortable. While following the instructions and rules of their owners.

“We booked Emily last minute to cover for our usual walker and she was great! Super sweet with our puppy and very responsive. We would absolutely book her again!”

“Mia was phenomenal for our first dog walker for Wynnie! She didn’t shy away from the challenge of walking her even when we told her that she is a little dog reactive and rose to the challenge when we showed her an example of that reactivity on our meet and greet walk 😉 Mia was timely, flexible, and very sweet with Wynnie so we knew that our girl was in great hands with her. Her updates always made my day to see and I know Wynn loved her!”

“Daniella was professional throughout the scheduling process and communicative about how it was going with our pup on the walk! She had lots of positive feedback about our energetic puppy, and we plan to use her again in the future for sure”

“Allan is great with Lilly!! Reliable, on time, gives her the full 30 minutes of walk time & his attention. Also kindly accepted a last minute request when another Rover walker canceled the day before. So thankful! Really appreciate the concern about Lilly’s likes & dislikes too. Will definitely rebook.”

Anabel & Nico T.
“Anabel has a way with dogs. She is the first person I think about when looking for someone to care for my dog, Lola. Lola is 4 years old and a rescue. She doesn't trust many people and can be a bit skiddish but she adores Anabel and loves spending days/nights with her. What I look for in a dog sitter is someone to give my dog as much love and attention as I would, and Anabel more than fits the bill.”

Elvis V.
“Elvis did an incredible job pet sitting my cat, Bunny. Bunny is a highly energetic and food-obsessed boy who needs a lot of attention, stimulation, and structure to stay happy—and Elvis completely delivered. He spent tons of time playing with Bunny, keeping him engaged with toys and games, and making sure he never got bored or too fixated on food. Elvis was also incredibly loving and patient, treating Bunny like he was his own pet. Throughout my time away, Elvis sent frequent updates with photos and little notes, which really helped put me at ease and made me feel connected to Bunny even from afar. I came home to a calm, content, and clearly well-cared-for cat. It’s not easy to find someone you can trust with your pet, especially one with such a big personality, but Elvis was amazing. I’m so grateful for the care he provided and would absolutely ask him to watch Bunny again in the future!”
