About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. Whether you’ve got a gentle giant or a feisty little pup, I’ll treat them like one of my own—with love, patience, and lots of behind-the-ear scritchins! Let me help your dog get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always happy to customize walks to your dog’s needs and energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! My schedule varies a bit from day to day, but it’s consistent from week to week. I work some mornings and some evenings, but those shifts rarely change, so when you and your pup love me, it will be easy enough to work out a schedule that works for everyone! I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. Also, as my pups are cared for when I’m not around, I am also available to stay at your home for short trips!

About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her needs as she has aged. So I understand that it isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I also care for feline friends at their homes while their families are away. I look forward to a fun walk with your dog in the neighborhood or on local outings as well as for your cat's meals, litter box and play. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where we can play and take a break together. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, I can administer that with a pill pocket or other snack but I will not administer injected medications or fluids.

About: I grew up around animals. My senior bichon-poodle passed away in June 2024. Although I am not ready to commit to another pet I am committed to hanging out with your fur baby auntie style! I love staying active and I walk/run every morning and it would be more motivating with a furry friend who loves walks too. *I work as a medical assistant and have past experience with senior dogs so I am comfortable giving medications* I work full time but have time to walk/check on your fur baby Wednesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's in the mornings. I am off Saturday through Monday ! I care for pets as if they’re my own. I’ll treat them with care and compassion. The park I live by is a great place for a good morning walk.

I would love to walk your dogs, play with your energetic pup and make sure they are having an amazing day! I can also stop by to feed and water them, or dog sit, and send you an update you about your dog’s or cat’s status after each visit :-). I’m currently very flexible with my schedule and can come walk your dog most days of the week, given at least a day’s notice, within a radius of 7 miles from San Rafael. I can walk dogs outside of your house or take care of dogs within your house. This includes refilling food, water, treats and playing with your dog. Happy to walk to a nearby dog park if that is available and that is something you regularly do with your dog!

I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. About: I have car for dogs from puppies to seniors over most of my 60 years of life. From basic and house training of puppies, providing for the special needs of a previously traumatized rescue dog and caring for them through their senior years, dogs have always been a central part of my life. I’ve been doing housesitting and dog walking in US over a year and always happy to meet incredible pets and their owners. I have experience with different dog breeds: Pekingese, Golden Retriever, Labradoodle, Maltese, French Bulls, Cavapoo, Peekapoo, Newfypoo, Corgipoo, Cockapoo, Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, Toy Poodle, Labrador, …, mixed breeds) I know how important it is to make sure that pets are comfortable and safe while their owners are away, and I'm always extra careful about keeping everything clean and tidy. I love spend time with dogs and sometimes I think that they are the best what we have in this world❤️ I study remotely with a flexible schedule, so when I pet sit at a client’s home, I get to spend most of my time with my furry companions😌 I play with dogs, I can teach new commands if you want, I walk them with full attention to them, I love to feed them and give all useful needed treats, usually I also brush them and try to give them what they use to have with their owners. We can go to dog park if they like it or vise versa to walk avoiding connection with other dogs if it needs. I can give them their medication in specific time) And of course I love them, I think that it’s very important for dogs as for people. My behavior is different with all dogs, because all of them have their own character and favorite/unloved things and their safety and comfort are on the first place for me.
