“I couldn't be happier with the care Stella got while staying with Chantel and Neil. Chantel is a kind and gentle person with great dog instincts, and their home was the perfect environment for Stella. Will definitely be back.”

“Gabriela was awesome! I really appreciate the updates she provided and relayed concerns in regard to Milo. Milo is a tri-pod senior dog who requires patience and a lot of care and Gabriela delivered at 110%! This is the 1st time a left Milo with someone other than family and Gabriela now is a part of that circle. I will definitely use Gabriela again!”

“Kelly is awesome. While we were away, a family emergency caused us to have to extend our stay, and Kelly didn't flinch in watching Hazel for several extra days. Very cool!”

“Amber is the BEST dog sitter you’ll ever find! From the moment you walk into her cozy, welcoming home, you know your pup is in great hands. My dog, Kash, absolutely LOVES staying with Amber. He feels right at home and adores her family. It’s not just a dog sitting service; it’s like a second home for your furry friend. Amber goes above and beyond to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and cared for. Out of all the sitters I’ve tried, she offers the most reasonable and affordable pricing without compromising quality. That’s a rare find! If you want peace of mind knowing your dog is happy, safe, and treated like family, book Amber today, you won’t regret it! I’ll definitely continue using her services whenever I need a sitter.”

“Monica provides wonderful care for my two French Bulldogs. Drop-off and pick-up are a breeze. This rebook sealed the deal - my dogs were excited to return and willingly left me for the fun and play at Monica’s. Thank you!”

“I had to go on something like 6 trips over the past couple of months and booked Jeffrey every time. He is the best dog sitter I have ever hired. He is extremely flexible, an excellent communicator, kind, and has a great, safe space for dogs to play inside and outside. You will not go wrong booking with Jeffrey.”

I work a full time job 5 days a week but have plenty of free time to watch after and take care of cats or dogs I have a big outdoor fenced area at my place for dogs to enjoy the space a run around and have a good time !
“Cathleen and her family were amazing with our dog. They took so great care of her and provided us with so many pictures of her stay, it felt we would be there with her. For our dog it was like a vacation in a 5star resort. Thanks so much!!!”

“Camila and Omar are fantastic sitters. They opened up their home to my pup and he immediately became part of their family. This family is attentive, always gave updates and photos to ensure that we knew our pup was in great hands.”

“Kira did a excellent job with Oscar. I had to book Oscar on two occasions with short notice. She was able to fit him in her schedule which I really appreciated. Having had Oscar stay with Kira on other vacations, I knew he would have the best care and no worries on my part. I will always recommend Kira as a sitter. Tom C.”

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“I appreciate Samantha’s diligence in dealing with our last minute dilemmas. Spencer seemed to have had a lovely visit with her & Coco. He appeared happy & at ease in the pics she shared. I would certainly recommend her as a sitter of the highest quality…”

“Mariia was a wonderful sitter to my dog. She was kind and always very quick to respond to any questions I had. She truly cared for my dog and I could see in the photos she sent that my dog was happy when we were away. I will ask her to watch my dog again!”

“Bridget was absolutely amazing with my dog, Gus! She was incredibly attentive, caring, and loving throughout the entire stay. It was clear from the start that she truly loves animals and treats them like family. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. Gus was so happy and comfortable with her—it honestly felt like he was on his own little vacation! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I’m so grateful for the love and care she gave him, and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“We were comforted knowing that Maggie was well taken care of by Mary. Such a better experience for Maggie than being boarded at a kennel where many other dogs are present. We could tell that Mary loves dogs. We'd definitely book with Mary again. We highly recommend her.”

“Iger is a caring and transparent dog sitter. He was attentive and offered great peace of mind while I was away from my dog. He provided frequent updates and quick responses. My dog came back clean and content. Would book Iger again without hesitation.”

“Such a great experience. Arlo and I were both happy. Ryan was a very responsive host and he and Caroline were lovely at drop off. Will definitely be more at ease when I leave Arlo again when out of the country. So happy to have found this site! 10/10”

“This is the first time I have left Bella for this long of a time. Nick did a very good job with watching Bella. She returned home happy and content. Nick also sent daily updates and photos of Bella. Great job!, I will definitely be requesting you again.”

“Cindy was great with our Bodie! She went above and beyond, providing him with toys to play with and relaxing music. She spent so many pictures and videos of Bodie playing, sleeping, etc which made me feel confident that he was being loved. Cindy even gave us a recommendation for helping with his sometimes excessive barking, which was awesome. Cindy will definitely be our first choice when/if we need someone to watch Bodie.”

“A kind caring sweet pleasant human being who loves dogs loves life lives in a fabulous place I could go on and on and on and on and say nothing but great things but that's what everyone does so you all get the point I am so glad we met. If you're going to an event at Snipes Farm this is who you want to use not the kennel at Snipes Farm it was so perfect I was going to a memorial with music at the farm and Anwar magically lived right next door I could not be happier with our experience”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Langhorne
Angela and her family took care of our dog perfectly in their home. She was an excellent communicator. She sent pictures and updates daily. She was cautious and caring about everything. We appreciated her bringing Bear home to our house at the end of his stay. It sounded like Bear had a great time too!

Absolutely WONDERFUL. I literally have no words to describe how amazing Traci and Jeffery’s care was for Apollo. They are so sweet and kind and treated my dog as their own. They kept me updated on his activities and behaviors. They were so incredibly accompanying to his medical needs. They are such lovely people to talk with as well. They are very communicative and on top of the job. If you need care for your dog. Hire Traci and Jeffery!

Liubov was an exceptional cat sitter for our two girls. She was incredible at communication and helping us watch our cats last minute. My partner and I are so happy that we found her. We will definitely recommend her if our friends/family in the area need a sitter. Great experience!

Holly was wonderful!! Sammie had a great stay with Holly and her family. I was worried about her bc we’ve never left her before but my fears were put to rest when Holly would update me each day. I was afraid that Sammie might want to stay and not come home, but in the end, she missed us a lot.

Bridget was great with Moose. My son dropped off and picked up. He is VERY particular when it comes to Moose. He said she was shy at first but then joined in the fun with the other pups. When he picked her up, he said she was happy to see him but "said goodbye" to the other pups. I felt that Moose was in great hands with Bridget.

Jenny has boarded my miniature Schnoodle, Jasper on several occasions. Usually our trips are well planned in advance but this last time we had to board Jasper when we had to go out with family on an unplanned trip. Jenny was able to take on Jasper on very short notice. She is always prompt in her communications and keeps us updated on how Jasper is doing which we appreciate very much! We are very happy that Jasper is well taken care of during the times we have to be away!

Christina and Jignesh were remarkable. Sam was sick for a couple of days and they provided quick medical attention for him. Over Labor Day weekend! They are kind and caring and Sam and their cat Melon became pals. The best cat sitters ever! Thanks again, see you next time!😻

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
