“Kira was amazing with my dog Ozzy. As soon as I met her I know she would be the best person to take care of my baby while I was on vacation. He’s older and is losing his eye sight. She cared for him like no other and was so attentive to all his needs. She gave him so much love. She sent videos and pics daily and kept me posted if there were any issues or concerns. My Ozzy came home happy and healthy. I could relax on vacation knowing he was in good hands. I will definitely use Kira again.”
“Amber is the BEST dog sitter you’ll ever find! From the moment you walk into her cozy, welcoming home, you know your pup is in great hands. My dog, Kash, absolutely LOVES staying with Amber. He feels right at home and adores her family. It’s not just a dog sitting service; it’s like a second home for your furry friend. Amber goes above and beyond to make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and cared for. Out of all the sitters I’ve tried, she offers the most reasonable and affordable pricing without compromising quality. That’s a rare find! If you want peace of mind knowing your dog is happy, safe, and treated like family, book Amber today, you won’t regret it! I’ll definitely continue using her services whenever I need a sitter.”

“Nikolaj kindly watched Luna during a difficult time in my life and I was confident that she was treated well. Nikolaj is very gentle and calm, which balances my high energy puppy.”

“My dog was very reluctant to leave and that's how you know a caretaker has done a great job. Gabriela and her husband both are genuinely nice people who love dogs. What more could you hope for in a caretaker?”

“Chantel and Neil did wonderfully with Archie! He fit right in with their kids and pup and treated him like one of their own. They were very responsive and sent us lots of pics and videos. We would love to have him stay there again.”

“Monica took great care of our very energetic two year old border collie Lucy this past weekend. Lucy liked Monica right from the start and willing went with her when we dropped her off. Monica took good care of Lucy and returned her to us nice and clean despite the fact that it rained the entire weekend! We would definitely recommend Monica.”

“I highly recommend Catherine. She went above and beyond to make my dog feel at home. I received lots of pictures and messages so I always knew how things were going. She has a beautiful yard for dogs and she is patient and kind.”

“Phenomenal dog sitter. I boarded my two dogs with Jeffrey for Christmas week. He provided updates and pictures each day in a consistent and clear manner. He took great care of my dogs, and my dogs always have fun with Jeffrey's dog, Lily. I will continue to hire Jeffrey as my main dog sitter for as long as possible.”

“Kelly is awesome. While we were away, a family emergency caused us to have to extend our stay, and Kelly didn't flinch in watching Hazel for several extra days. Very cool!”

“Davina and her family were so good to Arnie I was afraid he may not come home! Very proactive and responsive communication and pictures so you know your fur baby is happy! She even made homemade doggy treats and personalized each dog’s initial! Beyond exemplary!”

“I think Grover had an enjoyable time with the other dogs as he came back tired. After Grover made an escape under a fence, proper arrangements were made so he could not escape again.”

“Another amazing stay. This time it was an overnight and it seemed Gino had a great time when I picked him up. He seemed very happy and now that he’s home he’s resting comfortably. So happy that Mariia is taking such good care of him!”

“Samantha was great. My dog is pretty anxious, but Samantha made her feel comfortable, and my dog seemed perfectly happy when I picked her up. I would be happy to book with Samantha again.”

About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. I am very comfortable working with dogs that have disabilities as well as I have watched dogs that have diabetes, seizures, paralysis, and age related issues and despite the disabilities we still make the stay an enjoyable one. With me, dogs will get plenty of love, play time, and as many walks as they'd like! I currently hold a full time remote job so my flexibility is great for pet sitting! I can do morning, afternoon and/or evening walks, I can accept pet care in my home or travel. I have many options for accommodation. I reside in a safe private community townhome with plenty of walking paths and a fenced in yard. I do prefer to host at my home as it makes remote work easier due to my inability to transport my monitors but am open to house sitting upon request.
“We had such a great first experience with Rover thanks to Ryan and his wife! They took wonderful care of our dogs overnight while we were at a wedding and kept us updated with lots of photos and messages — our kids loved every one of them! We’re so grateful and can’t wait to book with them again.”

“Mary was an amazing sitter for my pup. He enjoyed staying with her for a couple of days and she sent me photos of him which made me feel better about leaving him with someone he doesn’t know. Thank you both for your caring for my little guy!! We truly appreciate it.”

“Borey was such a great dog sitter. She updated me at least 5 times a day with pictures and videos. Made me feel like my dog was in good hands. I highly recommend her to watch your dog.”

“Iger is a caring and transparent dog sitter. He was attentive and offered great peace of mind while I was away from my dog. He provided frequent updates and quick responses. My dog came back clean and content. Would book Iger again without hesitation.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Langhorne
Angela and her family took care of our dog perfectly in their home. She was an excellent communicator. She sent pictures and updates daily. She was cautious and caring about everything. We appreciated her bringing Bear home to our house at the end of his stay. It sounded like Bear had a great time too!

Absolutely WONDERFUL. I literally have no words to describe how amazing Traci and Jeffery’s care was for Apollo. They are so sweet and kind and treated my dog as their own. They kept me updated on his activities and behaviors. They were so incredibly accompanying to his medical needs. They are such lovely people to talk with as well. They are very communicative and on top of the job. If you need care for your dog. Hire Traci and Jeffery!

Liubov was an exceptional cat sitter for our two girls. She was incredible at communication and helping us watch our cats last minute. My partner and I are so happy that we found her. We will definitely recommend her if our friends/family in the area need a sitter. Great experience!

Holly was wonderful!! Sammie had a great stay with Holly and her family. I was worried about her bc we’ve never left her before but my fears were put to rest when Holly would update me each day. I was afraid that Sammie might want to stay and not come home, but in the end, she missed us a lot.

Bridget was great with Moose. My son dropped off and picked up. He is VERY particular when it comes to Moose. He said she was shy at first but then joined in the fun with the other pups. When he picked her up, he said she was happy to see him but "said goodbye" to the other pups. I felt that Moose was in great hands with Bridget.

Jenny has boarded my miniature Schnoodle, Jasper on several occasions. Usually our trips are well planned in advance but this last time we had to board Jasper when we had to go out with family on an unplanned trip. Jenny was able to take on Jasper on very short notice. She is always prompt in her communications and keeps us updated on how Jasper is doing which we appreciate very much! We are very happy that Jasper is well taken care of during the times we have to be away!

Christina and Jignesh were remarkable. Sam was sick for a couple of days and they provided quick medical attention for him. Over Labor Day weekend! They are kind and caring and Sam and their cat Melon became pals. The best cat sitters ever! Thanks again, see you next time!😻

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
