“Simply the best! The sweetest people that took the best care of our goldendoodle Summer for a week long stay while our family was on vacation. We know she was showered with love and attention the entire time. They are experienced dog lovers and we’d love to use them in the future! PS - I think Summer was sad to leave!”

“This was our first experience with a pet sitter, and Anwar ensured it was a seamless and enjoyable process. I highly recommend him due to his professionalism, flexibility, and exceptional care for my girl.”

“Archie spent the weekend with Angela and her family There was another dog and Archie was happy to have another dog with him Picked him up and he was happy Angela sent updates through the weekend Was great experience”

“Iger did a wonderful job with PraiseHim. This was a return visit and we felt comfortable leaving our dog with him again. He constantly kept us informed about PraiseHim through text, videos and pictures.”

“Stephanie Ann is awesome. She is so caring and so wonderful to our dog, Sophie. She constantly keeps us updated with photos and texts. I always know that Sophie is in good hands with Stephanie. Thank you, Stephanie, for taking care of our precious Sophie.”

“When my family goes on vacation, my dog is on vacation at Kathryn’s with her dog Rooney. I’m always getting videos and photos sent daily with updates. Kathryn is always polite, flexible and responsive.”

“We were incredibly anxious about leaving our dog behind as this was our first time without him, but Mary was very kind & kept us updated throughout his stay on his well-being, which helped ease our concerns. Thank you again. We will definitely book again.”

“Swapna was great. I boarded my dog with her and had no concerns. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay and was also very accommodating. I will be returning to her when I need to board my dog again in the future.”

“Great communication with Kevin while he watched my doggie!!! Pic and videos were really great to have while I was away from her! It made it a lot easier to leave her while on my trip!!! Super happy with Kevin and his family for watching Bella!!”

“We initially wanted neighbors for our dog DiDi. However, because our 19 days of travel overlapped with the Labor Day weekend, no neighbor was available. So, we decided Rover might be able to vet a caregiver. We found the perfect person, Marie! Owning a small dog, she is a very experienced care giver, and well worth the expense for our peace of mind. We would consider Marie of our first choice during our next out-of-town travel.”

“I can't say enough good things about Rachel! Leaving my fur baby, Lucy, was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but Rachel made it so much easier. She sent daily updates and pictures, so I could see Lucy’s sweet face and know she was in good hands. Rachel was incredibly attentive and caring, and it's clear she loves animals just as much as I do. When I picked Lucy up, she was beaming with joy and looked like she'd been well taken care of. I was so impressed with how Rachel had followed her routine and given her all the snuggles and love she needed. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Rachel, for making my trip so much less stressful and for being an amazing caregiver to my little girl!”

About: I've adopted many dogs, but started pet sitting for my much needed "fix" when my kids left the nest and couldn't help if i got another dog while I worked. I have dog sat at other people's house, at my house and do love senior dogs as much as young ones. I'm now retired and want to love on dogs. I just retired so i'm quite flexible. I love walking in general, and would enjoy the company of a pooch or 2. I'm good for just the day, overnight or extended needs. I always considered my own dogs as being family members. That said, they are allowed on the furniture. I have a small fenced back yard if your pooch doesn't want to walk in the rain or needs a late evening potty break. During the daytime, I like to walk a lot so your place or mine to give your dog's legs a stretch. I always have dogs on leash, no free running dogs are allowed in my development. I do belong to the Lower Makefield dog park if you are local and want to add me to your account to bring your dog there.

“Kira took excellent care of my dog Mr. Peabody (PB) who is older and has medical issues. I had never boarded PB before so there was some separation anxiety for both of us. Kira provided regular updates, photos & videos & it was obvious that within a short time PB had bonded with her. I would not hesitate to board him with her again.”

“Lincy is our go-to sitter for our dog, she always does a great job keeping him active and having fun. During his last visit with Lincy, our dog had recently been diagnosed with an infection and needed to take several medications. She was diligent in making sure he took all his meds (even when he spat them out), which we really appreciated! We’d recommend Lincy in a heartbeat!”

“Lauren and Derek took great care of my Coko! They met us outside for dropoff and pickup. She had such an amazing time in their hands and playing with the other pups! 5/5 stars!”

“I wish I could leave more than five stars. Mairim and her family were beyond fantastic. The care that her and her family put into taking care of your (our) dog is clearly evident. Her place is an oasis for dogs (and people) and she is extremely professional. I highly recommend her…you and your pet will not be disappointed.”

“Barbara and David were amazing!! Percy had the best time staying with them. They took such good care of him and kept me updated with pictures and video! I can’t wait to book with them again!! This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you Barbara and David!!! ❤️🦮🐾🦴”

“We left Jaxson with Cathleen for 9 days. He had the time of his life. When he came home, he was exhausted from all the attention. He slept all day. I would definitely take him back there. I actually think he had a better time there than at home, because he had another dog to play with. Makes me contemplate on getting another dog!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Levittown
Iger was awesome! Just great from the initial contact to the final pickup. We have a very large, older dog, and he and Deema were so kind to him - even hand fed him to get him to eat! I could tell that they really cared about our dog and enjoyed their time with him. Couldn’t have been more pleased and would definitely use them next time!

It makes our heart lighter to know that Kiri is safe & loved when we travel: not just by Kathleen, but by her whole family. Kathleen sends us daily updates with lots of wonderful photos of all the fun Kiri has. We can always tell that Kiri is well taken care of, & often say she's on her own vacation whenever she stays with Kathleen and her family!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
