“Maryori was the perfect choice for our fur baby Bentley. She was very warm and welcoming, and she made our boy feel right at home. He spent his birthday with her and she went out of her way to buy him a few gifts and treats which we appreciated very much! I will definitely book her again.”

“Castillo is a nice person: a patient and friendly dogsitter. She has a nice dog-friendly home: it's a nice setting for my moody lil dog..with a nice sized and enclosed yard for my dog and hers to run. I'll definitely utilize Castillo again.”

“Liubov was wonderful! She took care of my dog well, and that was the first time for my dog for boarding. She sent us pictures and kept us updated the whole time. Thank you!!”

“Igor was great with my dog. He provided pictures and videos daily which made my vacation so much more relaxing and confident knowing Rocky was well taken care of. Igor & his pup Whesker was great company and I would highly recommend them for your pets stay. Rocky came back happy and tired from his time spent with them! Definitely would rebook him!”

“I can't say enough about how wonderful Kathleen and her family were with our dog Maci. Maci is 11 years old and very anxious. My husband works from home so she is always with family and very attached. We were worried about leaving her with someone she did not know. We met Kathleen and her family before our trip and they were extremely nice and easy to talk with. They immediately bonded with Maci and made us feel comfortable leaving our dog, who is like our child, with them. During our trip Kathleen sent pictures and kept us updated as to how Maci was doing. It was a huge relief. I have never used Rover or a pet sitter site before but can now rave about how easy and great it was. I highly recommend Kathleen with the care of your pet and I will surely use her services again!”

“Mai took care of our pets as if they were her own. Appreciated that she was able to board both our dog and rabbit. She was helpful to get them settled in her home and kindly made sure their belongings were packed and ready for pick up time. Thank you, Mai!”

“Lauren did a great job with Bruno! I can tell he enjoyed his stay very much! She sent photos and gave us updates on how he was doing. Bruno will definitely be back! Thanks again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog as well as family and friends dogs for about 10 years. I am able to take long walks, feed, and entertain in general. I consider myself very trustworthy as I’ve had a dog my whole life. I recently just graduated college and am back home in Langhorne so I am free on weekdays any time after 12 pm. I can walk around for some good exercise for the dog or just play in the yard. I live in a great area for nice long walks. If I’m staying at a clients home, I provide lots of cuddles inside as well as fun play time outside.
“Archie spent 6 days with Angela & Michael. Angela is very good with updates and pictures…Archie always enjoys his visits and I it’s nice to know he’s well taken care of. Will use again”

“My Labrador Nora has stayed a few times with Cathleen and her family. It’s great to find someone we can completely trust for her to stay with! Nora always has a great time.”

“I can't say enough good things about Rachel! Leaving my fur baby, Lucy, was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but Rachel made it so much easier. She sent daily updates and pictures, so I could see Lucy’s sweet face and know she was in good hands. Rachel was incredibly attentive and caring, and it's clear she loves animals just as much as I do. When I picked Lucy up, she was beaming with joy and looked like she'd been well taken care of. I was so impressed with how Rachel had followed her routine and given her all the snuggles and love she needed. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Rachel, for making my trip so much less stressful and for being an amazing caregiver to my little girl!”

“Very friendly and sent tons of pictures. Our little guy seemed like he had a great time and came home completely exhausted. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks!”

“Thank you so much Kate for taking care of Peppa. I never, not once, had to worry that she wasn't being cared for. Kate sent updates daily along with photos. Great job. I will definitely use her again if she's willing. Thanks again. Donna”

“Kelly is awesome. While we were away, a family emergency caused us to have to extend our stay, and Kelly didn't flinch in watching Hazel for several extra days. Very cool!”

“Milissa is so communicative! Always sending updated & pictures which makes us feel so comfortable leaving Louie in her care. We will continue to rebook with her!!”

“Stephanie did a great job with Dior. She exposed him to other dogs, a situation he was not used to. He adjusted very nicely. She sent me updates and pictures every day, with made being separated from him so much easier. I will definitely use her again.”

“Our experience with Kathleen was fantastic; from setting up our meet & greet and throughout Coopers stay. Kathleen sent daily updates & was easy to communicate with, always responding quickly. We will continue to rebook!”

Traci and Jeff took great care of Leo. Traci is so kind and I felt very comfortable leaving my anxious Velcro dog in our care. Traci sent pics and updates, and Leo looked like he had so much fun there. I would highly recommend her! You will be happy with the care she provides:)🐾

Yuliia was kind, caring to my dog and to me as well! We had an emergency the day we were supposed to pick our dog up which meant with very short notice we couldn't get her at the planned time. Yuliia was understanding and was able to have our dog for a couple more hours. It meant so much to us that it did was cared for while we were away. Thank you Yuliia!

Holly was wonderful!! Sammie had a great stay with Holly and her family. I was worried about her bc we’ve never left her before but my fears were put to rest when Holly would update me each day. I was afraid that Sammie might want to stay and not come home, but in the end, she missed us a lot.

Jenny has boarded my miniature Schnoodle, Jasper on several occasions. Usually our trips are well planned in advance but this last time we had to board Jasper when we had to go out with family on an unplanned trip. Jenny was able to take on Jasper on very short notice. She is always prompt in her communications and keeps us updated on how Jasper is doing which we appreciate very much! We are very happy that Jasper is well taken care of during the times we have to be away!

Christina and Jignesh were remarkable. Sam was sick for a couple of days and they provided quick medical attention for him. Over Labor Day weekend! They are kind and caring and Sam and their cat Melon became pals. The best cat sitters ever! Thanks again, see you next time!😻

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
