“Gabby and her family are amazing! Our dog Lola was so relaxed and happy to spend over a week there. Even in the photos we could see how happy she was. Gabby sent us a great update every day, took Lola on lots of walks, and asked a lot of questions about how best to care for her.”

“Kira was Great! She treated my Ozzy and Pepper as if they were her own. It's clear the moment you meet her that she adores animals. This was the first long trip we had to leave our dogs for more than 4 days. Kira had them for 10 days and periodically sent video or pics of them to ease my mind. I would recommend her over and over again. Love her!”
“Kathleen took very good care of our dog Milo. She made sure to keep us updated by sending pictures and letting us know how he's doing. I couldn't recommend her enough! We will be continuing our boarding with her in the future😊.”

“A great set up and very responsive! Marie cared for our (very an a very anxious and codependent )pup while we were away for a weekend and provided regular updates with pictures and videos. We will most definitely use her again!!”

“Wanda and her family were kind and accommodating while watching my dog Banjo. She ensured he was cared for throughout his stay and made him comfortable while he was anxious during thunderstorms and 4th of July fireworks. I would highly recommend Wanda for any and all pet-related needs.”

“Mary took great care of our senior pup. She was very accommodating and it’s clear that she loves dogs. She sent us cute pictures and updates and we felt comfortable knowing that Daisy was in great hands. I would recommend Mary to anyone that needs a great, kind, and attentive dog sitter. Thanks for offering our girl a comfy and safe place to stay while we were out of town.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog as well as family and friends dogs for about 10 years. I am able to take long walks, feed, and entertain in general. I consider myself very trustworthy as I’ve had a dog my whole life. I recently just graduated college and am back home in Langhorne so I am free on weekdays any time after 12 pm. I can walk around for some good exercise for the dog or just play in the yard. I live in a great area for nice long walks. If I’m staying at a clients home, I provide lots of cuddles inside as well as fun play time outside.
“Phenomenal dog sitter. I boarded my two dogs with Jeffrey for Christmas week. He provided updates and pictures each day in a consistent and clear manner. He took great care of my dogs, and my dogs always have fun with Jeffrey's dog, Lily. I will continue to hire Jeffrey as my main dog sitter for as long as possible.”

“Samantha was great. Very attentive to our dog and his needs and provided regular updates. Her dog cocoa was also very sweet. Would recommend to anyone in the area”

“Borey was such a great dog sitter. She updated me at least 5 times a day with pictures and videos. Made me feel like my dog was in good hands. I highly recommend her to watch your dog.”

“Vicky and John were great with Clover! They welcomed her and made her feel at home with lots of cuddles and love! They sent daily updates and photos which kept our mind at ease.”

“Michael was great with my dog - so great that it seemed like he hadn't missed us at all. It's obvious he loves dogs and I saw him running with them! All in all an excellent choice that I will renew without a doubt.”
“Craig took exceptional care of our dog for an overnight stay. He was incredibly communicative and flexible, and instilled confidence that he was on top of everything and our pup was in good hands. There were also plenty of walks and playtime to keep him busy. Highly recommend using Craig if you’re down the shore.”

“Kathi was amazing! She watched our boys for 12 days and I was so comfortable with her watching them while I was gone. She sent frequent updates with pictures and videos. Kathi and her family truly cared for my boys while I was gone. I will definitely use Kathi and her family in the future!!”

“I would recommend Anwar to any and everyone! We had a death in the family and had to drive around to NC with just a week notice. During times like this, we are grateful that we found a sitter that is reliable and we can absolutely trust to care for Otis.”

“Colleen was very communicative while Moosey stayed at her house. She sent lots of pictures, and she made sure Moose got lots of physical activity. We’re so glad Colleen was available! Hope she can watch Moose again in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Penndel
We had a wonderful experience and couldn’t have been happier with the care our dog received. It was clear that the whole family made her feel welcome and treated her like one of their own. We especially loved knowing that she had their dogs around for company and was able to feel like part of the family while we were away. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was in such a caring, comfortable home and getting plenty of attention. She came home happy and very well cared for, which says it all. We would absolutely trust them with her again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving, dependable place for their dog to stay. Five stars!

Hi Traci and Jeffrey, thank you so much! We had a great trip knowing Kai was safe with you guys. Because Kai hasn't had tons of experience around other dogs, your patience with him meant the world to us. A special thanks to Chewy for being such a gracious host and sharing his toys!

Liubov is so sweet and caring with Joey. She has such a calm, loving way with him and always gives him so much extra attention and affection. You can tell she truly treats the pets in her care like they’re her own children, which means so much to us. Joey is comfortable and relaxed with her, and knowing he is being loved on and cared for so well gives us such peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful for her and would happily trust Joey with her again!

Kristin helped us out last minute. We did a meet and greet with her and her dog Darby. I could already tell Kea felt at home and was going to have a great time with Kristin. Kristin sent me pictures through the weekend and kept in touch. She did a wonderful job watching Kea and we would definitely use her again.

Yuliia was kind, caring to my dog and to me as well! We had an emergency the day we were supposed to pick our dog up which meant with very short notice we couldn't get her at the planned time. Yuliia was understanding and was able to have our dog for a couple more hours. It meant so much to us that it did was cared for while we were away. Thank you Yuliia!

Holly was wonderful!! Sammie had a great stay with Holly and her family. I was worried about her bc we’ve never left her before but my fears were put to rest when Holly would update me each day. I was afraid that Sammie might want to stay and not come home, but in the end, she missed us a lot.

Jenny has boarded my miniature Schnoodle, Jasper on several occasions. Usually our trips are well planned in advance but this last time we had to board Jasper when we had to go out with family on an unplanned trip. Jenny was able to take on Jasper on very short notice. She is always prompt in her communications and keeps us updated on how Jasper is doing which we appreciate very much! We are very happy that Jasper is well taken care of during the times we have to be away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
