“I can’t say enough good things about Ivelisse! She took such amazing care of Omen while I was away. She was kind, patient, and genuinely loved animals. She was so attentive to his needs, gave him lots of love and playtime, and even went out of her way to feed him when he ran out of food, something I truly appreciated. I felt completely at peace knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and caring with pets!”

“My wife and I can't thank Kira enough for looking after and taking such great care of our goldendoodle for 15 nights recently. She gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our holiday that much more knowing we didn't have to worry in any way about our little Lucy. Thanks again, Kira!”

Weekdays -morning and afternoon, preferred 8 am- 10 pm; weekends- Sundays mainly all day The neighborhood is dog-friendly. I have dog treats & toys as well. I can provide some essentials noted in advance. I'll make sure I note everything we did for the day and that everything is well maintained in your household.
About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.
“Katie takes the best care of Honey, our mini golden doodle when we are out of town. She is so caring and responsive, and I know she and sweet Rooney make Honey feel right at home. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving friend to watch your fur baby!”

“Cocoa had a great time with Joe and Bonnie. Cocoa is a timid dog who gets so nervous she visibly shakes, Joe was able to calm her down in minutes. I felt comfortable leaving Cocoa with them and will use them again. They texted me daily to let me know how she was doing.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have loved caring for them for as long as I can remember. I currently have two dogs of my own, Zuko and Maggie, who have given me experience with dogs at very different stages of life. I raised and trained Zuko from the time he was a puppy, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention that young dogs need. I also adopted Maggie when she was 9 years old, which has given me experience caring for a senior dog and understanding that every pup has their own personality, routine, and needs. I treat every dog in my care like family and want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while they’re with me. Whether your pup needs playtime, walks, cuddles, patience, or simply a cozy place to relax, I’m happy to give them the personalized care and attention they deserve. 🐶❤️ Pet Care That Fits Into My Everyday Life 🐾 I work fully remotely, which means I’m home with the dogs throughout the day and able to give them plenty of attention, companionship, and care. My workday typically starts at 8:30 AM, but every morning begins with a long walk for Zuko to make sure he gets his exercise and starts the day happy. My schedule is also flexible, so I’m able to take multiple breaks throughout the day for potty breaks, backyard playtime, cuddles, and check-ins. I love having dogs around while I work, and having them as part of my daily routine makes pet care feel very natural. Your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches while in my care. I’m able to provide frequent attention, bathroom breaks, playtime, and lots of love throughout the day while still maintaining a consistent routine. I have a medium-sized, fully fenced-in yard where dogs have plenty of room to run, play fetch, and get their zoomies out! I love giving pups opportunities for exercise and play while also making sure they have a safe and comfortable space to relax. I also have a designated pet room upstairs for dogs who need some quiet time or a little space of their own. It’s set up with plenty of toys, comfortable pet beds, and everything they need to feel cozy and at home. My goal is to give every pup a balance of play, attention, and downtime so they can feel safe, happy, and comfortable while they’re staying with me.
“I’m so thankful I found Kristen! She is such a kind and caring person and instantly my pup took to her without hesitation! She answered any questions I had and gave reassurance. We were gone for a few days and missing our dog so receiving photos and seeing her happy was a great feeling/experience! Highly recommend!”

“Jolanta was so great with our pup Franklin! She was great with communication. She played with him & sent pics. We look forward to having Jolanta care for him again!”

“We could not have asked for a better experience. Kimberly is conscientious and communicative and we felt very confident about leaving Murphy with her from the start. We were away for three days and 2 nights, and Kimberly sent us regular updates and great photos of our pup. Murphy seemed very comfortable with her, and I’m sure he loved to explore in her big fenced-in yard. We are thrilled to find such a wonderful sitter, and we will definitely seek Kimberly’s great care for Murphy the next time we go away!”

Anwar was amazing with Marley! I felt completely comfortable and safe leaving Marley in his care. He was very communicative throughout the stay and kept me updated. Marley clearly had a great time and came home completely pooped from all the adventures I’m sure he had 😂 I would definitely recommend Anwar to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter, and I would absolutely let him watch Marley again. Thank you, Anwar! ❤️

Lauren W. was absolutely amazing with our dog, Rocco, during his 7-night stay. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats every pet as if they were her own. Lauren was friendly, kind, attentive, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire experience. She gave us peace of mind knowing Rocco was in caring and capable hands. Her dedication to putting pets first truly shows in everything she does. When we picked Rocco up, it was obvious he had been well cared for, loved, and comfortable during his stay. Finding someone you can trust with a beloved family member is priceless, and Lauren exceeded all of our expectations. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, I cannot recommend Lauren W. highly enough. Thank you, Lauren, for taking such great care of Rocco!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
