“Sean was amazing!! Bear was so happy and I got so many pictures. Bear seemed so comfortable with Sean and Sean put everything back exactly where he got it. 10/10 would recommend and use again!!”

“Carbon has truly found a new buddy in Bill. He loves his walks and playing with him. Bill provides us with updates and a “report” card after each service. I would highly recommend Bill P!”

“Maureen was a life-saver. I am recovering from surgery and my Mercedes being an early riser with a specific morning routine. It was hard. She was extremely anxious with seeing me in bed and unable to carry her and keeping her morning routine was nearly impossible. She had become increasingly anxious. Maureen came in every morning on time at 6 am, let Mercedes out, fed her and walk her. She gave Mercedes belly rubs, lots loving and Mercedes calmed down. Maureen followed my directions, was puntual and gave TLC to Mercedes and was polite with us. She noted concerns when needed . Though minor, we were able to deal with the issues right away. Everything worked like a charm. I thank God that I was able to connect with Maureen and she was overall EXCELLENT. Mercedes calmed down and was excited to see Maureen. She took a load off us on the most difficult part of my recovery. Surely a God sent.”

“Our dog had a wonderful time walking with Shirley. She was right on time, and our Pancakes just loved her! She took pictures on their walk and gave a written rundown of her visit. Will most definitely be booking her again!”

About: I've spent the last 15 years caring for dogs of every size - from tiny lap dogs to larger breeds - while regularly sitting and walking my parents' pups. I know that a Great Dane and a Chihuahua need very different things, and I'm comfortable handling both with confidence and patience. I'm also experienced with cats: when my sister and her family spent 10 days in Italy, I came by twice a day to feed their two cats and keep their litter box clean, so their pets never missed a beat while they were away. For the last 4 years, I've owned Hiro, a Shiba Inu rescue from the SPCA; he's wonderful with other dogs, but is reactive and distrustful of strangers. Through consistent basic and behavioral training, I've learned firsthand how to read stress signals, manage triggers, and build trust with a dog who needs a little extra patience - skills I bring to every pet I care for, reactive or not. Living with Hiro has taught me a level of attentiveness and calm energy that I think any pet parent would want in a walker and drop-in. Whether your pup is a laid-back senior, a bouncy puppy, or has their own quirks and triggers, I'll treat them like family. I'm reliable, communicative, and happy to send photo/status updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Weekends (Fridays-Sundays): Available anytime. Weekdays (Mondays-Thursdays): - Mornings: 06:30 until 07:30 -Evenings: 19:30 until 21:30 Weekends (Fri-Sun) I am usually free all day with the exception of some personal appointments on Fridays. On weekdays (Mon-Thurs), I'm available for early morning visits (06:30-07:30) or evening visits (19:30-21:30) - great for shift workers, healthcare professions, or anyone with early/late schedules! Weekdays are greyed out currently, but if you send me a message to request an early morning or evening visit I will work with you. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priority. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own - following your routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions closely, and never leaving anything to guesswork. My approach is calm and structured, which comes naturally raising Hiro, my reactive Shiba Inu; I'm well practiced in reading stress signals, giving pets space when they need it, and creating a secure, low-stress environment for animals of all temperaments. I communicate openly and often, with photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether I'm in your home for a drop-in, or taking them for a walk, I make sure the environment is secure, hazard-free, and set up for your pet to feel relaxed. You can trust that your dog or cat will be safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
About: My parents never owned a dog, but I have always dreamed of owning one myself. Until that day comes, I love to help take care of others. I have taken care of dogs of all ages from a senior dog to a young puppy. Now that I’ve graduated and started my full-time career, I bring a high level of professional responsibility and structure to my pet care. Starting August 1st, my routine is built around my 9-hour workday, which makes me an ideal match for independent dogs or cats who are well-adjusted to a standard work-week schedule and comfortable napping while their humans are away. During the week, pet care fits into my day as a 'bookend' routine: I provide plenty of exercise, feeding, and mental stimulation before I head to the office, and I dedicate my entire evening to quality time, play, and companionship as soon as I return. This structure works perfectly for house sitting, as I can provide a consistent and reliable presence in your home. On the weekends, my schedule is completely open, which is when I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for those needing extra adventures or check-ins. Whether I am staying overnight during the week or visiting for a weekend walk, you can count on me for a calm, dependable routine and frequent photo updates! I have grown up in a household with 3+ cats. I am a quiet person who has a knack for making animals feel comfortable in my presence. I love when they keep me company as I work. I dabble in pet photography and would love to expand my portfolio!
“Christina took such good care of our little girl. Even at our first meeting we knew she was in good hands. Having experience with dogs (especially German Shepherds), Christina had the perfect demeanor with Leeloo who can be hesitant to trust people she doesn't know. Her special care, attention, and affectionate towards Leeloo had her excitedly anticipating her visits and walks!”

About: Our journey as a professional pet sitter began 3 years ago, and since then we loved it! We are experienced in providing care and love to a variety breeds, sizes and ages of the fur babies. Our furry guests will have the privileges of enjoying the gentle care along with the routine walks, bonding activities and musical entertainment in a clean and affectionate home. I am a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible for watching your fur babies. If I need to go out and run errands, I take the furry guests with me. We have 2 caged-in bunnies, and it's quite a surprise that they are not afraid of dogs! The bunnies can be relocated to upstairs if needed. Your fur babies will have supervised play in the backyard, and we always make sure to keep our house organized for safety reason. Please let us know your instructions from the vet for any special needs.

About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting with Rover since June 2024. I have a huge passion for animals, spending time with and caring for them. I have three cats and a dog right now! In the past I’ve also had reptiles, rats, and fish. One of my cats was recently diagnosed with asthma and my dog has a cleft lip :) I recently started a new job as a Store Manager where I work full time but I always coordinate my schedules. Ideally I would love to be a pet sitter full time as animal care is my true passion. I love getting to know you and your pets and how to care for them best. I'm located in Trevose and work very close to my new job right now, so drop in visits before or after, or multi night house sittings are no issue! I am unable to provide boarding at my house but I can house/pet sit no problem! If you are looking to book a DOG sitting or walking, meeting them beforehand would be important to me to make sure we are comfortable with each other. For house sittings, I will stay the night but I might be out for the day for work. If I'm off I will spend the day at home with your pets! For drop in visits I usually go before and after work at whatever specific time we agree upon.
About: I have a lot of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities, such as bloodhounds (grew up with 2!), corgi, schnauzer, Labrador, Italian spinnone, Shiba Inu, and French bull dogs. Fun fact: I helped bottle feed and care for a french bulldog with a cleft palate at just 4 days old until the time she was ready to be adopted! I work from home part time so I would be available to care for your pet all day when working from home or morning/night on the days I go to the office. I would make the pet feel comfortable in my home with its favorite bed and tons of toys. I will keep your pet on the same eat, play and sleep schedule that they are used to with you to make them feel at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
