As a long time dog owner and foster for multiple rescue organizations, I have experience with dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. I am also experienced with special needs dogs of many kinds, including those with mobility issues and visual impairment.

Melissa & Dan took great care of Bowser and were very understanding of his nervousness when a storm came through. They kept me updated on Bowser throughout his stay, and Bowser played well with their dogs. I highly recommend using them!

Just picked our dog up from another stay with Melissa and Dan and it’s so clear to us how well cared for and happy he is in their care. We received regular updates and photos throughout our stay which were so helpful. And we can tell he has a great relationship with their family and dogs. Highly recommend.

Schedule
Someone will be home with your pet at all times so your dog will never be alone. There will be plenty of time for play.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced in yard and safe neighborhood sidewalks for walking. Once the weather warms, the doggy pools will be out as well! Inside, your dog will be free to roam as they would in their own home and treated just like another member of our family. We also can gate off part of the house for dogs who enjoy some alone time. There are plenty of dog beds for napping and crates if your dog prefers that.

A typical day
That's entirely up to your dog and what they like to do! We could play ball, go for a run or walk, or just lounge in the sun. Aside from the fun stuff, we strive to stick to routine meal and bed times since dogs do best with predictability.
